Hi, could someone from the beta program contact me. I have had a beta account for several years, however after testing and participating in the program for a considerable period of time, I have received no invites or participation requests in over a year! Have tried to find out why, however if you are not part of a project, it’s appears impossible to contact anyone from the beta group!
Dear Sonos, (I’m cc’ing your forums with this support ticket text) I’ve been patient about you totally ruining my living room setup due to the Arc changes you made. It’s been long enough. I’m sick of waiting. (Not to mention you EoL’d the ipod I used to tune the system with this dreadful update, but I can’t use the new iPad Pro I own - despite it having a complex microphone array.)I’m a google guide (among other platforms) with literal millions of product and business review views, and I’m going to start giving you the feedback that you’ve earned. What is your problem? Why can’t you revert the changes? Are you really so terrible at product management, customer experience and engineering that you can’t fix what you clearly have admitted to screwing up?Seriously, we’ve spend many thousands of dollars for a product that sounds like an entry level Bose soundbar now. Please give me my money back, so I don’t have to start telling the internet who doesn’t already know know how bad you’ve scre
I would like to be able to listen to Radiooooo.com Is there any way to suggest radio streams to Sonos?thx merci
Anyone else running Android 13 and tried adding a new music streaming service?Every time I click +Add A Service option, the app immediately closes.Same issue on Sonos app v 14.14 and 14.15Android 13 on Pixel 6
I’m looking at purchasing a Synology DS120J 1 bay NAS System with 1x 3Tb WD Red HDD to use as storage for all my music CDs (a mix of standard and SACD formats). I would like to connect the Synology NAS to my Sonos system which is made up of 5 Sonos ZP120 Amps and 1 Sonos ZP90 Zone Player in order to play my music throughout the house via the Sonos App.Could you please advise if this setup will work for me.
Hi everobody,i sold my receiver and my Klipsch speakers. But i kept my turntable, my phono preamp, my Sonos connect, my Sonos play 1 and 3. I wanna play my turntable in my speakers thru my connect. I read this article When i had my receiver, my turntable was grounded to my preamp and my preamp was grounded to my receiver. So my question his: do i have to ground my preamp to my connect? Because there his no ground on the connect. Thank you.
I listen to a radio station called Adagio FM using MyTuner Radio. It has a sister station called Entranced FM but it is not on MyTuner Radio (nor TuneIn). How can I listen to it’s audio stream on Sonos?http://adagio.fm/http://entranced.fm/
Hi,I wanted to ask if in the near future there will be additional sound modes that can be selected such as: sports, music, etc., since for example in sports broadcasts I would like to hear the audience more than the commentator. If not, can I play with the settings to get a sound profile similar to what I listed above about sports mode? I currently have a Beam gen 2 and plan to buy two One SL. Thanks
Often get this message on my iphone while listening to music! This happens when network is working fine, wifi is good on phone and other devices, etx - nothing changed, then, “unable to connect.” And I can't stop the music or adjust volume. Fix is to reboot everything over and over. System is Play:1
I have some old components, so can’t upgrade to S2. On the S1 app, when trying to ‘add a service’, I get a message “App update needed.” Does “update” mean upgrading to S2, or is it just a new version of S1? In other words, how do I add additional services to S1 without updating to S2?
I just updates from S1 to S2. Glad that I can turn off some ancient protocols on my NAS. But one thing seems weird to me. The S2 app itself seems super ugly. Maybe it’s only supposed to run on a phone? (I’m on an iPad). It’s strange to me that the player is this brownish color (see uploaded screen). And the player part doesn’t change with light mode and dark mode. It’s always this brown. Also, the library access pages seem kind of ugly. In the default skin they are like gray on gray. What’s up? Am I doing something wrong?
How do I use s1 app?
To the old-schoolers out there like myself clinging on to v8.4 (for reasons of old hardware), it seems finally to have been killed by MacOS Monterey (at least on the desktop app) as Sonos now longer responds: I am restricted to the iOS app only and am kicking myself for updating my OS. If anyone knows of a setting or hack to bring it back to life, please let me know. My 3rd party MBS app still works (although not properly). If I were to update my Sonos version does anyone know which is the latest version of the system to definitely work with an S1 (not S2)? Do I even have a choice? Thanks!
I’ve been using Sonos for 16 years (one of their first users.) I’ve purchased close to 50 Sonos devices. I’ve been complaining about the UI for 15 years. It’s horrible. Performing simple actions like opening the equalizer requires 5 minutes of discovery every time you want to use it. Why don’t the navigation icons at the bottom of the app have labels. Why does the screen for selecting rooms/devices have the title “System”. Why is the icon in the navigation bar for this function totally unrelated to the function. Why is the setting for Alarms on the screen for selecting rooms. Why are there three separate icons (search, favorites and browse) in the NavBar for selecting Music. Why are the playback controls hidden in the collapsed now playing screen. Setting up a new AMP…...What kind of imbecile would require a user to input a code into the app when installing a new device that’s written in illegible characters (requires a magnifying glass) on the back of the device, and only let the us
I currently have the Sonos S2 app installed on my iPAD. I have a large music collection on a NAS, which I control using Asset UPnP. I have set up a unique instance of Asset for the sonos so that only mp3 files are used (I have a fair number of FLAC files in our collection). Having enabled “show UPnP servers” in the media servers options under settings, I am able to see the entire collection using the music tab.Unfortunately, with my setup I am unable to add an entire album to the queue or a playlist. I have searched the forum and found two potential solutions (long press album art, then scroll down) or (press … symbol at in the upper right of the screen when viewing album tracks and then scroll down). Unfortunately, neither works. When I scroll down from either spot, nothing happens. Can anyone help? Thanks
I desperately need some guidance with this research because I'm at my wit's end.I simply need a tangible remote control—not an iPad or phone—that I can use to adjust the level on a selection of Sonos speakers or on ALL of them.No more Tradfri gateways are available, so you'll have to wait till their new hub is ready, however it looks like their Tradfri remote may manage a number of devices (or all speakers). I have the remote but no hub yet.pico remote and lutron hub just went down this rabbit hole and there is no Sonos "group" support; you can only operate ONE speaker at a time.
Hi. I have a Play 1, Play 3 and Boost which are operating under S1. I was originally told I could upgrade my existing kit to S2 but now whenever I try I am told my devices are incompatible with S2. I just bought a new Roam, which is S2, and I do understand that I cannot link the speakers as they are not compatible, but can I link my Roam to my existing library, playlists, favourites etc. or do I have to set it up entirely from scratch? I cannot even find out how to add my iTunes to the Roam let alone anything else. I have the S2 and S1 apps on my iPhone, but my main channel for my existing speakers is the Sonos Controller on my iMac, which incidentally will not enable the update they tell me is waiting to load.
HiI’m about to upgrade a Gen 1 Connect for the Sonos Port. Am I correct in understanding that 24 Bit steaming is only available via Amazon Music, and Tidal is still only CD quality at 16 Bit?
I have two Sonos Play 5 units paired in stereo and the Sonos Sub. My primary use for this is playback of my personal music files. I have been very happy with Sonos except I am very interested in being able to play my personal high resolution files (24/48, 24/96 and 24/192). I know Sonos supports 24/48 streaming but I want to use my own files. What is on the horizon to catch up technology wise. I would love to continue with Sonos but that may become an insurmountable issue without that support. Speaking of on the horizon is there any upgrades or new models in the works to add another level of speaker above the Play 5 or its current iteration the Sonos Five?
I have a Niles gxr2 whole house system installed with wall mount display and keypads. i bought the apple 30 pin to composite cable. I connected the 30 pin to niles and the red white part to so os connect generation 1 audio out.. when i play a song i don’t gear any music coming out of the speakers the niles wall plate say “source connected” when I switch to ipod but the mute button always stays red for some reason. what am I doing wrong. Could someone please help?
This is crazy! The shuffle button always worked for years and now its gone (With Apple Music when I select my apple music). But if I go straight to Apple Music, the shuffle button is there. Anyone know how to fix this? I called Sonos and they said they couldn’t help me but would take it under consideration. Without a shuffle button, I would never have bought my two systems. Sonos has to do better than that.
I have a ray and surround sound through an amp. I paired the remote and it says it is set up on sonos app. The volume bar goes up and down on the screen but the volume doesn’t change when using Tv remote. The sound is coming out of the sonos system and not TV speakers so it is connected but not working. Any ideas?
Here we are years into this issue and on the most recent iPhone, with the most recent iOS update and the most recent Sonos app it still doesn’t show in the iOS Lock Screen? No Airplay connected, nothing has the controls, no AirPods it’s just one room with one Sonos product and one iPhone. And still no Lock Screen.
Recently I've found myself using Bluetooth speakers and more especially Bluetooth headphones to listen to a variety of media sources (particularly Audible). A relatively simple and flexible process where I can listen on a headset without inflicting the sound on others.Achieving this for Sonos requires an expensive Amp or Connect plus a Bluetooth transmitter - crazy. I guess this rather cumbersome setup could be avoided with the advent of Sonos headphones, but probably only at some exorbitant cost. Once upon a time, I probably would have stumped up the necessary cash, but if any headphones work only exclusively with Sonos and can't also be used as normal bt headphones, then I'll pass.
I need to control various Sonos sites from my IOS device. Works fine until I leave site; using VPN to remote into the site via cellular doesn’t work. IOS app binds only to Wi-Fi adapter on IOS and doesn’t recognise that I’m routing via the network that Sonos is on. Anyone found a solution?
