A few suggestions to consider, without opting for a reset…
Have you tried simply powering off the Playbar, computer and router for a couple of minutes to see if that solves the issue (a power-cycle of all)?
Are the computer and Playbar each wired to the same network switch/router, if not and it’s practicable, then try that too… even try different ports on the switch and consider reseating each of the cables.
If they are already wired to the same switch, then maybe try another switch if you have one available.. try to change/eliminate things along the network path between the source computer and the Playbar.
Its worth seeing if online streaming services work okay with the Playbar too.
Yeah, I have reset and they are on the same router. I should try playing music through a streaming service to see if that has the issue.
If it was a network issue, I’d expect the song would pickup where it left of instead of having continue to play.

Perhaps try the cables in different ports on your router switch - just see if that might make a difference. Trying another audio source is a worthwhile test, like an online streaming service, just to see what happens in that case.
Whats the bitrate of the .mp3 tracks you’re playing from the PC - are they ones you have ‘ripped’ yourself, what software was used? Are you able to perhaps try different software or another file format, like .aac, .m4a or lossless .flac just to see if the same thing always happens.
Its worth checking if anything is running in the background on the PC too (file indexing / defragmentation etc.) and see what happens if you temporarily disable features like firewall, antivirus, vpn, or other similar security software.
Check the router setup too for software features like QoS or Airtime fairness and perhaps disable those and see if the issue goes away.
Most of the MP3s were purchased on itunes. The bitrates vary depending on the track. All play well on phone, in my car, etc. And they play fine on the move. It usually happens every 15 to 30 minutes… and last only 3 to 8 seconds, so not a huge deal, just annoying when it hits mid solo or something :)

It’s not something like the screensaver kicking in on the PC is it? It sounds like it is perhaps something like that.
Maybe monitor the task manager and see if there are any spikes in processor activity on the PC, which coincide with the audio interruptions.
