Connect with record player not working

I got the Sonos Connect and this record player: https://www.amazon.com/Crosley-C100A-SI-Turntable-Adjustable-Counterweight/dp/B016OVYIK6 I have it all hooked up and set with line out (pre amp), but while I can hear a little sound from the record player, no audio is going into the Sonos connect. What am I doing wrong?

ZP90 Stopped Working

My ZP90 appears to not be working. The controller can't 'find' it. No lights appear on the Front even though power is connected. At the rear there are flashing yellow and green lights around the input connectors. It is connected to my Home Cinema System and previously worked perfectly. Anybody Help please?

Sonos Connect to Receiver PreAmp

I'm connecting my Sonos Connect to a Yamaha RX A-730 Home Theater receiver via either TosLink optical or Coax digital cable. Either one works fairly well, but I have to have the volume on my Yamaha turned almost to MAX. So I'm thinking I need some sort of pre-amp. Can anyone recommend a digital to digital (either toslink or coax) preamp to install between my Sonos Connect and my receiver ?? Thank you, JH

Sonos Connect Digital Outputs - Volume Control?

Does the in-App volume control work on the Connect's digital outputs? I want to connect the Connect's digital output directly to a pair of power amps via a 3rd party DAC which has no analogue volume control.

Why can't Sonos sell me an extended warranty like this?

A longer version of this is stuck in the spam filter. I was looking on Amazon and they are offering Squaretrade service plans (extended warranties) for a very good price and I wondered why Sonos can't offer the same plans when you buy a device directly from Sonos instead of having to go through Amazon? Wish list for connect amp new version and updates

Hi sonos and fellow users, I’m a Installer for a Audio and video company, Doing lots of sonos installs. I have many installs which uses the sonos connect amps with inceiling speakers for multi room audio, which also includes tvs. I have many clients want Audio from the tv to their inceiling speakers but without having a sound bar, they are trying to keep the wall clean as possible without having a sound bar on it. Can Sonos introduce a optical in on the connect amp (version 2), and also maybe a external IR sensor kit so when the client uses the original TV remote, it will have the ability to change the volume up/down, almost the combination of the playbar and sonos connect functions rolled into one connect amp. And if it has a optical in (for the tv, and analogue in.. for cd etc) the connect amp will have the ability to have to have two sources run into it. The other feature is default source option, so if your running music from Spotify, etc, soon as the tv is on, it overrides th

Sonos Connect AMP - incorrect voltage

Hi - I just plugged my Connect AMP into a 240V mains plug without sliding across the voltage switch on the amp. There was a popping sound and it now doesn’t turn on. Has anyone has this happen and found the fix? I’m hoping I haven’t busted it Thank you

Do i need to add a 2nd Boost?

Have Boost set up in house now. Adding a Connect to outside BBQ area. Closest Sonos device I will have is an existing Connect in Family Room about 60 ft away. Will my new Connect I add to outside BBQ be able to connect via the mesh to the Family Room Connect or is that to far? if it does not reach will adding 2nd boost next to the Connect in the family Room send a stronger signal than existing Connect that is there? If i hook up 2nd Boost it will not be hardwired in, can it just connect to the mesh to extend signal assuming the Boost will extend further than a Connect and not have to be hardwired to network?

Cannot get line-in on my ZP90

Hi, I hope I'm posting to the correct place but I cannot easily see how to contact customer support directly. I have just bought an Amazon Echo Dot and tried connecting it to the line-in input of my ZP90 but I cannot select the line-in as an input anywhere in the Sonos app. Even when I go into Settings->Room Settings there is no line-in option as there is for my other CONNECT amps. I have tried a different cable but this makes no difference. Can anyone help ?

5 speakers on 1 Sonos Amp

I want to install 5 in-ceiling speakers(1 zone) and connect them with Sonos Connect AMP. Would it be possible to do so? Here is my product list; 250ft 12 awg cl2 speaker wire 5* Micca m-8c in-ceiling speakers 8ohm 100watt max/each Any help will be highly appreciated!

Sonos rackable

Hi sonos and fellow users, I have been doing a lot of sonos in domestic jobs which I use multiple sonos amplifiers or connects in them in racks, can sonos produce a narrower form factor for it to be rack mountable. At current sizes, you can fit 2 connect amps side by side, or 3 connects. If you have racked version, you might able to squeeze in 4 units. I have attached one of the jobs that I have done....note the system still cool even though it’s in a cupboard with door close, front door vent on bottom, and a extraction vent in roof cavity to extract the heat, system is almost silent with this setup just incase you had a question if the system goes hot? I have other systems that is a similar setup to this, and I’m sure there is the custom installer that have large sonos jobs like this too

Hi sonos and fellow users, This has been proberly discussed on many occasions, I have installed many sonos products and competitive products too, the advantages of the competition is that they can play hi resolution audio, why is that important, well some clients have dedicated stereo systems, and want something that’s in higher quality when it comes to playback, that’s where sonos is falling behind, the other thing is some customers don’t have the ability to network their music or need a NAS drive or even have to leave their computer on 24/7. Can sonos start introducing USB ports so the client can stream direct or share it, and also Bluetooth capabilities. Unfortunately here in Australia our internet is not the most reliable time to time, and that if there is no interenet, there is no music, if they have the options of streaming from USB or Bluetooth, it’s always a great backup option

Connect with Denon AVR 2312CI

Hi all. I tried searching a bit, but haven’t found a direct answer to my question. I currently have a Connect hooked up by optical to my Denon. I can play anything through the Sonos controller just fine. I’m wondering how I get my TV sound currently running through the Denon back out to the Sonos in other room. I know I need a line out on the Denon to go to the line in on the Sonos. On the back of my receiver I have an Out and a Pre Out. The Out is labeled DVR and the Pre Out is labeled Zone2 for adding other zones with the Denon. I’ve tried running through the DVR portion and setting the line in on the Connect, but I can’t get TV sound to other zones. I read somewhere that people were using Zone2 Out, but then skimmed an article where someone said not to as it could damage the Connect. Can someone shed some light on what is needed? Thanks! Sam

Automatic switching to Line In isn't working?

The Line In on one of my Connect Amps, to which a Dot is wired, is set to Autoplay. With grouped speakers also checked. It works fine except when switching back to the Dot after music play via the app. Not only will the wired to Line In Dot not override music playing when given a voice command, music play does not start via the Dot even after the earlier music play is stopped using the app. And even after the queue is cleared via the app. When I pulled out the audio wire from the Dot, music was playing, heard via its speaker in response to the command it had received; plugged the wire back, but no music play. It took pressing the start/stop button on the Connect Amp and three flashes of the green light before music from the wired Dot started. There is no trouble in the reverse direction, in starting music from the app after the Dot is commanded to stop. Is this normal? Should the Line In set to Autoplay not respond to a signal as soon as it gets it? PS: The Dot signal levels also s

Using my Anthony Gallo sub with CONNECT:AMP

Hi, just got my Amp up and running and it's working but no sound from my sub. Any ideas what I may have done wrong? Needless to say the sub is plugged in, switched on and hooked up to the subwoofer port on the Amp. Thanks!
