I am interested in getting of their consoles (the standard) with vinyl and Sonos integration.  curious if you can link up a Sonos sub to it? I realize you can play Sonos music through it, and I assume it is using something like a Sonos amp to pull that off.   Curious if you can add to their speakers with a sub or even rear speakers.  

Hi, can anybody tell me the vale of resistor R15550, located under the WiFi module?This component is missing on my board ( knocked off and lost by previous “repairer”). Oddly, the player still works, but I would like to replace it.Many thanks for your help, this is my first post!Andy  

Curious if anyone has tried any of the following to charge their Sonos Move. HiJust checking to see if there are issues with reliabilityOver the years Ive built up a fair sonos system spending approx £2600 and then an additional £800+ on replacing faulty equipment.So the connect module fails once again this is the second time, the most annoying bit is its the least used of all the kit.So contact sonos and share my concern about yet again having to lay out money on a piece of kit hardly used and being replaced for third time.So I get an offer of 30% off, dont think so as I can get this already in trade up, then a 50%.After considering decided to decline and look at other manufacturers, its a shame as originally the sonos technology was great but then their disaster of a decision to stop supporting product, the failure of the connect and poor customer service was the final straw

Whos bright idea was it to introduce pin no’s to set up the amps What good does it do why is it printed in micro sized print on the underneath of the amp where you cannot see it, after it's been plugged in and placed on your rack shelf. 

Hi thereif you’re going to sell Sonos Ports to be used as line in only options for $600 you need to be able to turn it off on the list of rooms because it’s completely unnecessary and ruins the experience. Please make this a feature as it really is disappointing given how expensive it is to use the port as a line in option that the interface is not adjustable accordingly. Thank you alternatively sell a cheap line in option that won’t appear in the list of rooms and I’m sure you’ll have many many many many more happy customers.

Has there been a request to have eq and volume profiles for the input on a Sonos amp? I have a turntable on the input of the Sonos amp and would prefer the EQ, Surround volume, Sub volume/crossover and rear volumes be different than streaming or hdmi. SETUP:Sonos AmpSonos SubSonos One x2 rearsKef Q150 x2uturn custom with Grado cartridge  Thanks! 

I have an older Sonos 5 (S1 app compatible).I’m running an optical audio cable (optical to 3.5mm)  from Visio TV to the Sonos 5. I’ve confirmed the proper VIZIO audio output settings with VIZIO support. However there is no TV audio from the Sonos 5.  The Sonos 5 works fine wirelessly with the S1 app. I’ve enclosed an image of the Sonos 5 settings. Can anyone suggest a remedy or things to try? Hello i would like to discuss an idea that involves any music artist that uses monitors speakers. Im currently on a budget to find ways of finding great hardware speakers that work with mixing music through a DAW. I currently own a One SL and i am able to listen to my tracks through the sonos app thats connected with my sound cloud. I made a playlist to reference 1 song and comparing the mixes to my own songs. I feel that a solution would be made if sonos made a 2 ways speaker thats not wireless and is easier to connect to a computer to a usb mixer and xlr output to the product. This would help so much for me as an artist and for other artists and would be very competitive to many popular studio monitor speaker products. Thank you.

My Roam got splashed by the pool now it doesn’t work. The glue holding the top is separated. Clearly not water resistant. Very dissatisfied that the speaker is not as advertised. I’ve owned it for less than a month.Others have similar issues?

I recently purchased a SONY PS-LX310BT which says it has a pre-amp. Though when I set it to LINE and connect it to my port using the line in, and play it through either a beam or my Sonos One the volume allows me to adjust it though it doesn’t get very loud. I understand what a pre-amp does, though would it work to add an external pre-amp to boost the sound of the turntable ?  

I have a Samsung HW-Q900T soundbar connected to my Samsung TV which I am very happy with. I would like to add this Samsung soundbar to the rest of my Sonos system. Can I connect a Sonos Port or Amp to the Samsung soundbar without adding any additional Sonos speakers. The new Sonos Pot has a digital out but it is a round female connector like an RCA plug, it does not look like a conventional digital optical plug. On the other hand my soundbar has a digital audiooptical in and HDMI in connections.

Background: Bought a house with 4 “dumb” ceiling speakers in 4 different rooms. Owners had a Denon receiver, an AudioSource amp and a Russound SS-4.2 4-way speaker selector. Each speaker has 4 wires and also has wall volume dials. The wires are all disconnected.My goal: Stream Sonos (and Spotify) through the 4 speakers and be able to control the volume of each speaker and turn each speaker on and off from my phone.Question: Can I use the Sonos Amp with the Russound SS-4.2 4-way selector? I am using a Sonos Connect Amp to power a pair of outdoor speakers.  I added a second pair and it seemed to me there wasn’t enough power to drive al 4 without distortion.  So I purchased a small digital amp to power the other two without first thinking...can I do that?  I use external amps with the Sonos Connect to power several speakers, but haven’t tried it with the Sonos Connect Amp. I assume it’s fine...but thought I’d ask! Thx!

How much heat does the Sonos Amp develop?

I thought I read somewhere that later manufactured (serial numbered) Gen 1 Connect:Amps are S2 compatible.  Does anyone know what serial number year/month (first four numbers of the SN) is the start of S2 compatibility?

Hello all, I have been mostly a lurker here and really appreciate how much info everyone has shared. This morning I solved a pesky problem and wanted to share.I have several Sonos around the house (using wired connection/SonosNet) but this specific problem relates to my upstairs room where I have an old Yamaha receiver, Sony CD player and Audio Technica turntable wired to a sub and non-powered speakers. The receiver is hooked up to a Sonos Connect. In the room are two G1 Play:5s. All this played together well for a couple of years, with no lags when playing LPs or CDs. That started about a month ago. Boo! I went through the forums and tried adjusting compression, selecting AutoPlay, changing channels, etc. without success. I thought the lag would just be a fact of life, I would just have to mute either the speakers or 5s when playing discs. Then over the weekend I wanted to play a CD with one of the 5s outside. It just kept dropping out and was driving me nuts (y'all know how it is). U

I am planning to connect 3 pairs of speakers to a single Sonos Amp (2 pairs of in-ceiling speakers and 1 pair of outdoor speakers).  Is it possible to listen to music on a single pair of speakers without having the other two pairs playing music?  Thanks in advance.

Hi thereI am new to this forum and have a question regarding the Sonos Port and set up.  My set up idea is this…..  To connect a turntable in to the Sonos Port, I understand I would use the ‘Analog Audio In’ RCA jacks. Then is it possible to stream the audio from the turntable to my Sonos Beam via wifi? If i can stream the audio to my Sonos Beam would my turntable need to have a preamp as well? Or would I not require a preamp in this situation? Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. The Sonos Port isn’t cheap and I don’t want to spend that kind of money on something that wont work in the way im hoping   

Can you use the in wall speakers by sonace to pair with the new arc sound bar and place in wall behind where you will be sitting 

Hi all,After selling my HT AVR, dolby atmos speakers, sub, cables etc i bougt a Sonos Arc and 2 One SL’s for surround. Also Sonos Sub is on the way. The TV and movies are okey with this set up, also i think that after my Sonos Sub arrives it will be better then my old HT system, besides physical heights but not a problem.  Actually i liked the sound of Arc with OneSL’s when listening music. Only Arc is rubbish for music but with One SL’s it sounds good. The details are nice without sub and i know that after Sub every thing will change about mids, bass and details.But i still have a pair of Dynaudio Special 40’s on sale and honestly i am missing them. And thinking not to sale them, buy  a Sonos Amp and drive the SP40’s with the Amp as a stereo set up. Also i could connect my turntable. As most of you know, Dynaudios loves continuous power. SP40’s are 6ohms and handle up to 200w. Sonos Amp gives 187.5w per channel at 6ohms.  My main thought is, how will Amp perform with SP40’s? The sound
