I’m looking at a new turntable being the Sony one - I’ve got 2 x Bluetooth Sonos one a100 speakers and the turntable is Bluetooth compatible- wondering if anyone knows if this will work? I keep seeing issues regarding connection but no sound.
if this speaker doesn’t work - can someone recommend a speaker which does without cables with this turntable , I don’t want to fork out another 300 quid for a new speaker when I’ve got 2 that are just as good.

The Sonos One does not have a Bluetooth music receiver in it.

Sonos doesn’t make a model “A100”. They make a Play:1, a One, and an Era 100. Could you clarify which one you own and we can answer the question.

They do, it’s this speaker here. I’m hearing the Sony player will work with the era 100s?
That's a Sonos One. As I said, Sonos doesn't make an A100.
But Sonos does print A100 below the One label which causes this confusion far too often.
Maybe they could make it clearer? Ver: A100 might help.
I am looking at a 2nd hand Connect gen 2 in the hope I could connect the turntable (I have ordered the same one) via RCA cables to the Sonos Connect and then wirelessly stream to my Play 1s (which are already grouped in a room). I was about to buy a second hand Connect or Connect Amp
The Sony ps-lx310BT does have a pre-amp built in so I was hoping I wouldn’t need any other kit?
Didn’t really want to go down the line of purchasing a Bluetooth/line-in speaker from Sonos just to sit there next to the turntable when I have lots of Sonos speakers already. Second hand Connect/Amp would be a bit cheaper and I imagine sound quality from RCA connection would be better than line-in or Bluetooth??
As long as you get an S2 capable Connect it will hook to the turntable and play on any or all your other Sonos.
Connect Amp is intended to power speakers so it isn't what you need.
And if this turntable has a built in pre-amp, just set it to ‘line’, and you wouldn’t need an external pre-amp. And yes, it should be ‘better’, although your ears may or may not be able to ‘hear’ it being better, than Bluetooth…but all Sonos analog line ins are equal quality. A CONNECT would sound equal to an Era 100, or a Port, or any other Sonos product.
