LG OLED Lip Sync In 2024

Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hey all,

I had a bad experience back in the days of the LG C7 with lip sync issues with the Sonos Playbar & Arc. I’m looking to buy an LG G4 & was wondering with eARC these days if people with LG TV’s are still having lip sync issues or other problems with LG TV’s?

Would really appreciate some help from those particularly with newer LG’s like the C3, G3, C4 & G4 etc.

I have the 2019 LG C9 TV - which is older and it has audio pass-through across its HDMI ports and there’s no lip-sync issues with that TV. I presume LG’s newer TV models are even less-likely to go out of sync, as their internal processors tend to get faster, rather than slower. Anyhow also checkout this review at rtings.com:

Personally speaking - (even though I haven’t tested it myself) I think that TV will work fine with any Soundbar/Home Theatre setup, including those available from Sonos.

I have an LG C3 with an Arc and have never experienced lip sync issues.
