Era 100 lost connectivity

I bought a Beam soundbar a while ago and it was, and has been, fantastic. I then proceeded to install two Era 100s around the house. Apart from the delay issues with the TV connections, it was working fine. A month or so later, one of the Eras disappeared completely from the app. Sonos chat guys helped me through it and I got the Era to reappear but it has always said no connectivity. Went through the motions with Sonos chat and lost interest after 5 hrs of "try this, try that". In the end they were saying that there is no compatibility with my WiFi booster, although it worked fine for a month. Anyone able to help at all?

Not next to the router, about 3 feet is a safe distance otherwise they can swamp each other’s signals.

Boosters don’t seem to support all the networking functions Sonos needs so they aren’t expected to work and Sonos won’t help with them.

If the Sonos can’t connect to your WiFi router due to a low signal or interference you could go to a mesh system with a hub and one or more remote units.

WIFI boosters/extenders are not compatible with Sonos. For Sonos to work properly, you will need to eliminate as much network interference as you possible can. This includes second routers doing router duties, extenders, powerlines, VPNs..etc

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. So to get it to work, is it best to put it next to the main WiFi router, connect it then move it upstairs and hope that it maintains the connection to that rather than the booster?
