I have 2 Move pair in stereo when use wifi. Is it possible to pair 2 Move to Bluetooth? Right now I can only pair with 1 Move.
Volume on TV setup with sub, playbar, and two ones are randomly increasing the volume when playing music. Has not happened when watching TV. Random volume increase is random, but when it happens a song is playing and the volume will jump up. It will often jump up again to the point it is extremely loud. Resulting in just
Hello, I am looking for a replacement power supply for the sonos port. Does anyone have recommendations ? The user manual specifies : ”Use only the included power supply (using a third-party power supply will void your warranty).” but there is no replacement sold on Sonos’ website… I am pretty suprised a how fragile the power suplly cord is for a unit of this price.
Hi everyone! I am just about to buy a sonos device for a 5.1. Main device will not be wall-mounted so I have decided going for the playbase. I am just little worried about an apparent sibilant, crispy annoying treble. It will be used mainly for Cinema and Videogames. Is there really an annoying issue with the treble in the playbase? Should I go for the Beam or the Playbar, knowing that I will not use it wall-mounted? Thanks a lot!
I opted to replace my ZP80 that I feel like I’ve had forever and take advantage of the 30% off deal. Pretty simple configuration: The ZP80 was connected to my Denon AVR 4306 via the digital optical connector. I only used it to stream audio from SONOS to my Golden Ear speakers. So out with the ZP80, in with the Port, digital coax out to the Denon, retraining myself on assigning inputs on the Denon. It sounds awesome, me thinking there’s a definite difference in quality from the ZP80 set up. But I wonder….is that my $ rationalizing? Would analog out from the Port be a better option? Having gone full-on streaming long ago, the only other input into the Denon is a Blue-ray player so, unless I wanted multi-room FM audio, I can’t think of another use for the Port at this point. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!
Just purchased new laptop with Catalina iOS and App Store did not have Sonos App. Where can I find it? Is is findable or has Apple removed Sonos App?
I have 2 surround sound set ups. The first is a Playbar, Sub and 2 x Ones. The second is a Beam and 2 x Play 1s. I cannot get sound to anything but the Palybar or Beam, none of the surround sound speakers work. With the first set up I can see all speakers. In settings I can change surround sound levels etc but still no sound. This was working fine until about a week ago. With the second set up the Play 1s disappeared from the Theatre grouping. When I try to add them back in, Sonos finds the speakers but fails at the last prompt, when trying to configure the new speakers. I just get a message saying ‘Son failed to add your speakers, check your WiFi or power to the speakers’. These were all fine about a week ago. Also I have some speakers that drop connection. I thought that the Boost would resolve this, but while it has enabled linking other out of range speakers, I now experience drop out from speakers which were fine previously. This is hugely frustrating, I have over 20 Sonos dev

Hello Sonos, For the past few years I've used the line input on a Connect:Amp to power a left and right wired speaker with no issues. Recently, I started to notice a clear and obvious major delay from the line input source to the wired speakers. I do not have any other Sonos speakers connected wirelessly. I originally thought this was from my computer or a USB preamp I have for conference calls, but if I test the actual wired input (1/8" male jack from my computer headphone out to RCA left/right male in to the Connect:Amp) simply by touching the input to hear a buzz...there is now a 5 second delay to the wired speakers. This was not the case for 5+ years and just started happening about 3 weeks ago. I should note that streaming music from Apple Music or Spotify has no delay...I can press start and stop and the music stops immediately and pairs with other Sonos Play:1 and 3's I have. Only when I use the line input directly to the wired speakers is there an issue. Is there a new fi
Hello Everyone, After many researches, I sadly coun’t find what I was looking for anywhere. Back in the days, I like the Sonos 8.0 “loading screen” a lot. I would like to have it as a wallpaper, but I can’t manage to find it anywhere :-( (attached a picture sample of it. I would like a wallpaper of the image behind the error message) Sonos Support Team suggested I ask my request here ! So let’s give it a chance. Thanks in advance for those who will try to help. Ysh
Hi there! In the installation process I use the Sonos App at my iPhone. I have disabled the internal sound at my tv and chosen sound by optic cable. Everything goes fine except the connection to my TV’s remote. I’m asked to press the sound+ button, but nothing happens, and the Sonos App reply to me, that it has not observed my remote. My LG tv is brand new and the remote for it is: Magic Remote Model AN-MR19BA. Can anyone help me to get my TV remote connect to my TV sound? It’s not nice that I can’t control my TV’s sound with the TV’s remote control.
Playbar + Play 5 grouped for Spotify music, but ungroup when I use the tv & have to be regrouped all the time, which is annoying. Also, can only change volume on Playbar while watching tv on Sonos app, not tv remote. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks :)
Hi! I've turned off parental control in Sonos app but I see below that Youtube Music filtering content and when for example I listening Without Me by Halsey from Youtube Music I see 'bzzz' sound on explicit words. How can I copmpletely turn off content filtering on Youtube Music on my Sonos system?
I’m curious to see if anyone has walled mounted their Move, and if so, what did you use. I just noticed this available on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Acrylic-Bracket-Compatible-Portable-Speaker/dp/B081SHJRGD/ It’s not the prettiest mount I’ve ever seen, but it utilizes the charging ring and can be quickly removed from the Mount. The prices is also hard to beat. I’ll probably be giving this a try, unless someone has found something better.
I have a Brennan CD storage system and a couple of Sonos One(gen2) speakers. How can I play the CD’s through my speakers?
I have a Sonos Move speaker and the software has not been updated for it to work with Spotify connect yet. Does anyone else find this annoying? And do we know when Sonos will update the software to be compatible with Spotify Connect?
Hi, Just looking for some advice on a new build. I’d like to put in some built in wall and ceiling sonance but unsure how I should set it up. Anyone interested in providing some feedback? Here’s the room: And here’s my thoughts: wall speakers for built-in L/R channels, and ceiling mounted for side/surround channels. Ctr channel from a Beam. Appreciate the feedback. AJ
I have purchased two Sonos amps, and front and rear sets of the new Sonance architectural speakers. I want to use them for surround sound in a theater room. I have a cable box, an Apple TV, and apps within the smart TV that will all act as possible video/audio sources. What is the best way to configure so that the Sonos can provide surround from all of them? Use a home theater controller, run the devices into it, and then the HDMI outputs of the home theater controller to the AMPS? Or, possible to run both the cable box and Apple TV to different TV HDMI inputs, and then the TV audio signal to the Sonos? Do the Amps have to be wired to ethernet to allow for surround sound (front and rear) with the Sonace architectural speakers? I'm trying to find any guide published by Sonos on how to use 2 Amps to create 4.1 (virtual 5.1) surround. I got a verbal run through on the phone with them which was not in high detail. Thanks!
When I try to play music on Sonos group set from Apple Homekit I get “Controls unavailable for this device.” The speakers (Playbase, Sub and 2 Sonos Ones) are grouped as home theater set. How to solve this?
I have the Playbar connected directly to TV using the optical cable provided. I have Verizon Fios and was able to program remote to adjust Playbar volume but no matter what setting I choose on TV, I can not shut the tv speakers off completely. Anyone have any ideas?
Genuine question. What is the likely timeframe?
I just moved a speaker to another room. How do I change its name so I don't have multiple speakers with the same name?
I’m trying to plan out a house install using a Sonos Amp with in ceiling speakers. A couple of places I’d like to put speakers such as a bedroom only really make sense to have a single speaker. Is it possible to have a single Amp appear as two separate zones? So one zone uses speaker channel 1 and speaker channel 2 shows up as an independent zone? This would mean a single Amp could handle two smaller rooms quite efficiently, whilst still allowing independent audio control. I initially thought this is what Dual Mono mode meant but now I’m not so sure. If this isn’t possible then it would mean I’d have to use a Sonos One wall mounted for these areas which simply won’t be anywhere near as clean.
Set up; Sony TV, Virgin V6, Firestick, Playbase Audio for the TV and V6 Box connect to the Playbase via a Lindy optical connector with no lip sync' issues. Pay movies through the Virgin box, no lip sync’ issues. The Firestick is plugged in to the TV, Firestick audio output through the TV speakers is OK, dire through the Playbase. Any ideas as to a fix - Thanks
Since I have already selected the recycle option to get the 30% discount on 2 new Play 5 speakers. Can the old gen 1 Play 5 be used as a passive speaker ( no streaming) through the aux input? If not I suggest they offer this option going forward. I am extremely disappointed that I have to spend an additional $700 to replace my old Gen 1 Play 5 speakers due to a “ software update”.
