Hello, I recently bought a Ray bar and I’m using it mainly to listen to music. During summer nights, we set up in our garden a projector to watch old movies. I plug an Apple TV 4k to it and until now I used an old set of wired speakers for the sound. Can I replace the speakers with the Ray? Will I be able to use Airplay for the movie sound? The only HDMI port is used to connect the AppleTV to the projector. Thanks for the assistance!!
Hi, I can get either my Arc and Sub to show up on the app, but not my three amps. If I delete the app and reload then I can get the three amps to show up, but not the Arc or Sub. I have tried wired individually and daisy chained and wireless, nothing seems to work. I have wired speakers connected to the amps, then work on individual TV’s, but not with the ARC and Sub. Is there something, I am missing?
Hi,I’m trying to setup a network firewall with multiple VLANs. I found the page telling us which ports that we need to open up for sonos to work with a firewall in place. Currently the page only tells us what port and protocol (TCP / UDP) that sonos uses.I would like to know the source and destination for the firewall rules. Could we get more clarification in a format that also tells us the reasoning, source, destination, port, and protocol? Possible example below:Music Services Source: Sonos Device Destination: Internet Port 80 and 443 Protocol: TCP Sonos App Control Source: Client (iOS, Android, Mac, etc...) Destination: Sonos Device Port: xxx Protocol: UDP Casting Music: Source: Sonos Device Destination: Client (iOS, Android, Mac, etc...) Port: 30000-65,535 Protocol: TCP Reference to the page that lists all the ports that sonos uses:https://support.sonos.com/s/article/688?language=en_US

Have a whole home Sonos installation including one Sonos Move. I've just added a Roam to use in my bathroom. It's off the charger and has gone to sleep, and appears that way in the app. Do I really have to hit a button on it to wake it up? Can't I wake it from the app like the Move? (Slightly worried I've accidentally bought something I don't want)
Sonos app seems to be draining a lot of battery while my iPad is idling. It says 2 min on screen but 23h 19m background. Weird thing is I disabled the background app refresh for Sonos specifically.this has both happened while the iPad was at home at same Wi-Fi as Sonos and away on another Wi-Fi. I have submitted a diagnostic at number 412593457. I need my Sonos app to not kill the battery while idling.
I have the Arc w/ 2 gen 3 subs and 2 One SL’s and a Beam in another room. I don’t have access to an Apple product for Trueplay anymore and wanted to know what is the best Apple device to buy for Trueplay? Thank you.
I have been using my Sonos products with S1 Controller as I have a Play 5 that isn’t compatible with S2 app so I cannot migrate. The Play 5 is a perfectly good speaker, working fine, and I don’t see why I should pay to replace something that is working fine. All good for months and months.Today I try to start the S1 app and I get the attached, which I cannot dismiss other than close. I can no longer play any Sonos device. What have you done Sonos to the S1 controller app, and how can I resume using my system as it was yesterday.

We have an 85” tv mounted. We have the Arc and want to mount it under the tv. We have bought the Sonos mount but do not have the directions. Please help with directions. Thank you!
Is there a way to set up a master favorites list in the Sonos app? Or if this already exists, can you tell me how to access it or which feature it is?Right now, my favorites come from multiple sources … youtube mixes … sirius radio stations … and playlists from Apple Music. I often see these listed together in ‘recently played’, but they can drop off there if I play other things and don’t come back for a while. What I’d like to do is be able to pin certain items to a master list that only changes if I change it. Any help appreciated and cheers!
Hi,Like the title says :My Sonos Five stereo pair cuts out when receiving low volume from TV on line in. It’s a real pain. I see other people have this issue but haven’t found a solution, I have played with compression and delay to no avail. Can anyone help? Kind regards, L8MAX
Did anyone noticed the following: SONOS playback can now be controlled from the lock screen, of course without AirPlay playback through another music app, by its own software. Was it iPadOS 15.6 or the SONOS 14.12 software?
Hi All, Just bought a Prism Q65 QE Pro TV, the TV comes with the Bluetooth remote control and had connect the TV and playbar via Optical cable. However, Im not able to control the Volume from TV remote control. Appreciate if anyone can help to advice the correct way to setup the TV with Playbar. Thank you !Darren
I am using a 27” iMac. It’s a nearly 10 year old screen, but it has plenty of pixels. So it seems unreasonable that some of the text on the desktop controller is too small / indistinct to read, and can’t be enlarged. As I get older, use glasses etc, I can still read the song titles, but I find the artist names underneath are completely illegible. It doesn’t help that they are presented as grey on black. This is particularly annoying when listening to playlists.Could we get an option to increase text size? At the moment if I want to see who is playing I have to right click on Info and Options (where the text is still pretty small, but not tiny, and it’s a lighter colour text so clearer.I’ve been using Sonos since it first came out. Not everyone can be young and with 20/20 vision! Thanks for listeningNigel Thomas
Does anyone know if the Sonos Port supports Atmos playback through TIDAL? TIDAL + Atmos reference: Dolby Atmos Music – TIDAL Thank you!
I’ve added two rear play 1s to my Arc and I’m now receiving 5.1 digital plus on films that I was receiving an atmos signal on. Is this normal? Any help/advice appreciated, thanks
Hi all,I want to buy a turntable and connect it to my Sonos. I don’t have anything third party only Sonos. For what I understood I need any turntable with preamp and Sonos Five. What would be the best setup?Best
Can I use my Belkin F7U054 wireless charger that I use for my iPhone 11 for a Sonos Roam?
Has anyone else who uses the audioClip API noticed that since 14.12 it doesn’t work properly - I’m seeing the requests get posted, but they fail to play over the targeted speaker?
I am in the process of acquiring a Port. I have a Rotel RA-930AX amp. I am wondering if, with turtable and cd player connected to the amp through appropriate inputs, you can connect port output to tape in and port inputs to tape out and thereby be able to plau the turntable and the cd player to other sonos speakers. I understand that they would be out of sync with the speakers connected to the rotel but I don’t need to play through all peaskers simultaneously. In other words, if what I am asking works the syning is not an issue.
I want to use both a CD player and turntable with the Sonos Amp - what’s the best way of doing this? Thanks
My existing setup is a Sonos Amp, a Sonos Sub and a pair of conventional ceiling speakers wired to produce stereo audio (obviously). I then bought a Sonos One SL to add to the same room to “widen” the audio image. However, when adding it to the system it did not offer me the option of adding it to the existing room. So, I just created a new variation of the room name. But now when I play audio I get 2 volume controls on the app (one for what was the original setup) and one for the new speaker. This means I have to adjust one of those volume sliders each time I begin playing from my music library. How can I set them up to be in the same room with just one volume control and, I assume some balance slider that I can set once and then leave? Thanks in advance.
