I recently bought a Ray bar and I’m using it mainly to listen to music.
During summer nights, we set up in our garden a projector to watch old movies. I plug an Apple TV 4k to it and until now I used an old set of wired speakers for the sound.
Can I replace the speakers with the Ray? Will I be able to use Airplay for the movie sound? The only HDMI port is used to connect the AppleTV to the projector.

Yes, the Ray supports Airplay from the ATV - both need to be on the same LAN subnet, but you may encounter lip-sync issues with the video on screen. Perhaps give it a try and see.
(I’m assuming there’s no optical output from the Projector?)
