Era 300s as stereo pair right and left tweeters not outputting siubd

So I have two era 300s and noticed that when I pair them each together as a stereo pair the right and left tweeters no longer emit much sound. Whereas when I play music with each separately, I could absolutely hear more sound coming from those tweeters. Do they get turned off after being joined as a stereo pair?

I’ve tried both Dolby Atmos music and stereo music via the Amazon music service in the Sonos app. The woofers and the front tweeter and the top tweeters all sound the same but the side tweeters sound relatively inactive…

When horizontal, PLAY:5 and FIVE’s also do this to improve the stereo image for a listener located between the speakers.

Remove Stereo Pair then deliberately set them up as a stereo pair, but reversed when the App asks you to identify left and right.
