I would like the TV to be the music hub.
So I will connect via eARC to the soundbar (Beam), and from the soundbar to 2 play ones and perhaps a sub for music listening with better stereo separation.
Will this be a problem?

No, this will not be a problem. You will need to bond the Sub and two Play:1s as surrounds with Beam.
