Beam and Play3 options

Hi,
I already have a play3 in my dining room and if I purchased a beam for the tv there, what are my options?
Can they be combined for tv?
Can they be combined for music?
Can they be combined for both ?
Or can they not be combined at all?

    A Beam and a single P:3 could be 'grouped' using the Sonos App. They would then play music sources in perfect sync. But TV audio would not sync perfectly and there would be an 'echo' effect if you could hear both speakers at the same time.

    Therefore this would really only make sense if you were planning to use the Beam and P:3 in different rooms.

    If you were to pick up another P:3 (now discontinued so it would have to be a used one), you could use the P:3s as surround speakers with the Beam. Then you would have sync for music and for TV audio.
