I have owned the Arc Ultra for a few months and I always planned on building up to the full surround kit as i could afford. So today, I pulled the trigger on the sub mini and a single era 300 (i cant afford 2 right now, ill add the second one next month). Is is true that you need to have a pair of era’s to add them as a surround speaker? I have tried adding it to my system 30 times, factory reset everything, reinstalled the app, firmware updated on my router...literally every newbie troubleshooting step i can think of, thats why I need an expert to step in.
My system is all set up with the arc ultra and running perfect, when I add the Era 300, no matter what I choose, it adds its own room everytime. So say my arc ultra is set to “Den”. when i add the era to den it creates a “den 2” everytime. I cant fix it. It also wont run as a surround speaker. I just have to enable them both as seperate speakers playing the same sound. So its not surround sound, its just 2 speakers near each other playing the exact same sound channel. Super headache inducing. Please help!
