Unplug the Arc from power and reboot your router. If it continues to play a loud banging sound, contact Sonos Support:

Are you using an Apple TV or Xbox and got a loud crash sound followed by the Arc cutting out sound? If so, this is a long-running problem. You can join us in the main thread here:
