Hi,
I’m building a home theater setup. I have a 9.2.4 setup in the room (arc ultra + 2 gen4 subs + 2 era300 ). I want to do some acoustic treatment to improve sound since the room walls are empty and have too much reverberation. I’m looking into getting some acoustic panels maybe also some diffusers. I’m trying to figure out how much can I treat without affecting sound channels directionality.
I think I can put sound absorbing panels in the whole back wall behind the era 300 since sound doesn’t need to bounce back having back speakers. Also the front wall behind the Arc doesn’t need to reflect sound.
Does anyone have experience or can share some advice?
Cheers.
