I have a Sonos Arc + Sub + p1 surrounds connected to my TV via ARC.
When playing TrueHD 7.1 (HDMI passthrough → transcoded to EAC3) movies, “About my System” in the S2 app shows “Dolby Digital Plus 7.1”
(Question) From what I have read, it seems clear Sonos does not have 7.1, I was wondering if “something is being lost” as the Sonos system seems to be trying to play 7.1 when it “can’t”.
Or maybe the scenario above is perfectly fine.
