Je viens de mettre à jour l’appli et mon système home cinéma complet pourquoi je n’ai plus la qualité du son que j’écoute sur l’appli ???avant je voyais, si j’étais en Atmos ou pas ?
Why is the only option to adjust the volume control, on the app, is to drag the slider? It’s a cumbersome process and invariably over adjusts. Using airplay you can adjust the volume just by touching the speaker, making it easier to make small adjustments. Please can this be included on the Sonos app.
HiI have Sonos since around 2017. Since two weeks I have a new computer with Windows 11 and now I am unable to use the Sonos Music Library on the Windows App (Sonos Controller for PC). Error messages:Sonos was unable to add the music folder. Please check that the path to the folder, and the username and password if needed, are correct. Reason: Access to the shared folder "\\XY" is denied.or"\\XY" is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed. What I would like to achieve is to incorporate two folders in my Sonos Music Library (as was before):C:\Music\01-MusicC:\Music\02-MusicNewThe folders are 121 GB and 210 GB in size respectively and shared with a dedicated local Windows user account (no microsoft online account).I am able to access the paths via UNC (e.g. \\MyComputer\01-Music) in Windows Explorer locally as well as from a different computer in the network. The cable-based network is set to private. The firewall
I have a Samsung S25 phone running Android 16 and oneUI 8.5. Last Monday, 11 May 2026, Sonos updated their app.Since then I can not manage alarms in the app. The only way to manage alarms is in a PC app, in my case MacOS. There’s a catch, the MacOS app is intel based and M1 Macs use Rosetta to use it. The Rosetta translated app will soon be withdrawn.Sonos Support take two hours to get to the point where they just shrug their shoulders and point toward the soon to be withdrawn PC app.We invest on Sonos products because of a perceived notion that it’s good an reliable. In recent times Sonos has become a laughing stock.Has anyone else had a similar experience? Regards,Kevin J
je rippe mes CD audio avec NERO, et je vois la jaquette s’afficher dans l’appli NERO pendant le rippage. Cependant, quand j’importe le CD dans SONOS, la jaquette ne s’importe pas. Pourquoi ?
Filing a fresh 2026 data point on a multi-year, still-unsolved issue. Closed prior thread: en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-228993/beam-keeps-switching-back-to-arc-from-bluetooth-how-to-stop-not-solved-6925022 Setup:TV: LG OLED C5 (latest webOS firmware) - Soundbar: Sonos Beam Gen 2, connected to TV via eARC - Headphones: Sony WH-1000XM5 over BluetoothRepro (every time):1. Pair the WH-1000XM5 to the TV. Connection succeeds.Settings -> Sound → Sound Out -> set to Bluetooth Audio Device. Audio routes to headphones. 3. Within ~5 seconds, the TV silently reverts Sound Out back to HDMI ARC Device (the Beam) on its own. Audio is back on the Beam, headphones go silent. 4. Disabling SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) on the LG side at Settings -> General -> Devices -> HDMI Settings does NOT stick — the toggle re-enables itself within seconds while the Beam is on the HDMI bus.The only reliable workaround is physically unplugging the Beam HDMI cable, which is unacceptable for premium gear. I have a number of different alarms. I would like to configure transient groups for those alarms. Some alarms should group certain speakers. Other alarms should group different speakers. I can’t set up a group “beforehand” that is appropriate for all types of alarms. it seems like there should be some sort of “select speakers to group” when setting up alarms, but strangely you can set up alarms on only one speaker at a time. And if you set up the same alarm on multiple speakers, they don’t “sync” properly.
Hello everyone, since people often ask how to perfectly tune their Sonos system and because it depends heavily on the room I created a small test file that can help with the setup.Quick disclaimer:This test is about volumes between speakers and channels and what is technically the most accurate. If you don’t like the settings after the test, feel free to adjust them to your own taste afterwards. My recommendation is: perform a fresh TruePlay calibration, then test it with your favorite song and adjust your EQ settings so the song sounds best to you personally. EQ preferences vary a lot. some people prefer more treble, others a bit less. To match the bass, you'll find a step in this calibration video. For me TruePlay quick worked the best. With the advanced TruePlay I got some weird sounding EQ curves.I set my bass EQ to +3 because I wanted to give the sound more body through the speakers. At 0, the speakers sounded too “thin” to me, and I could hear the transition between the speakers an
I have an AMP that died in a suspected power surge. I have it halfway disassembled and have good pictures. I have access to multimeter and soldering gun, but have little electronics experience. is anyone here willing to run me through the at I should be testing or hoping to replace? I’d like to give this a shot before I drop the cash to replace this unit or find a different solution.
I noticed that when in the system name menu, clicking on SONOS at the top of the screen causes the system name to revert back to Your System. This does not happen when clicking the back button the top left corner. iOS 26.5 app version 85.0.31
Hi,a few months ago I created the linked post requesting a full-screen cover display option on iPads, similar to what’s available on Android tablets. I was wondering if there’s any update or new information regarding this feature request. It would be great to have this option again, as I use my iPad as a dedicated home music controller. Thanks!
HiI have been trying for quite a while to update my Sonos Windows App on my Windows 11 device but just keeps on failing. I have submitted a diagnosticsIs anyone in the Sonos community able to help?In the app it doesnt show anything under error log either so I have got nothing to help my self troubleshoot myself. All updates are applied to my Win 11 machine. I can answer any other questions if it helps. Thanks Moderator Note: Recorded and removed diagnostics number.
Hello people,Thought I’d chime in with my recent experience after buying a second-hand Play:5 (Gen 1).For context, I’m running a full S2 system: Living Room: Arc Ultra, Sub (Gen 3), and 2x Era 100s Bedroom: Era 300 Dining Room: IKEA SYMFONISK Picture Frame + Connect S2 (vinyl player) I thought adding an extra speaker would give the dining room a bit more depth. Since I already own a Connect S2, getting the Play:5 Gen 1 via line-out seemed like the perfect budget option. What I didn’t know about was the infamous 75ms line-in delay.Fast forward to me being driven absolutely crazy by the echo while trying to group the IKEA speaker with my Connect (Play 5 Gen 1 line-in). During my troubleshooting, I came across this post:TL;DR: There is supposedly no delay once the Play:5 is taken completely offline (disabling the Wi-Fi in the app and unplugging the ethernet cable once activated).I tried this workaround, and I can report that it does work, but only to an extent. The delay is still prese
Hello, my center channel on my Arc Ultra is much louder than my left and right. Is that normal? I was hoping TruePlay would reduce it and balance it but it didn’t.TruePlay also has my Era 300 rears super loud. To be fair they are really close to my head but I have to turn off TruePlay and change the distance to less than 2’ on both of them. If left where they are I would say they are even louder than my already loud center channel.Any way in the future to have some adjustments to center and rears after TruePlay or are those loud channels supposed to be that loud? I know rears have a toggle but I can’t lower it enough even I I lower all the way down. Would be nice to run it and select less than 2’ as a baseline. Thanks!
Hi everyone,I’m setting up a small Sonos system at home and wanted to ask for some advice. What’s the best way to optimize sound quality and speaker placement in a medium-sized room? Also curious if there are any settings or tuning features you recommend using for a more balanced audio experience.Any tips from experienced users would be really helpful
I hope the title of this post caught your attention 😊. I want to share my thoughts regarding how Sonos really doesn’t need our help to function reliably beyond configuring a stable network. As Mesh networks are the going trend (as is mine) that is my focus. I’ve set the stage with a few generics common to mesh networks.Typical Mesh NetworkRouter (Main Node) Satellites Nodes (1, 2 or 3) *Tri-Band Router (Option 1)2.4Ghz 5Ghz (1) 5Ghz (2)Tri-Band Router (Option 2)2.4Ghz 5Ghz 6GhzAll Bands should have the Same SSIDI have a stereo pair of Sonos Play portable speakers. They usually rest in my downstairs media room. I decided to bring them out to my deck. The path to my deck is through my living room where one of my satellite nodes is located. I also have a satellite node on my deck for long distance outside coverage. As I moved through my home to the deck the Plays decided which node they would connect to. In the pictures below you see that….My Play (L) decided to connect to the satellite n
We have 8 Sonos amps setup behind TVs throughout a house. 4 of these are connected to TVs VIA hdmi arc. All the tv locations work fine as tv locations however group play is broken. We cannot add the TV zones to music playing on the other zones or vice versa. Is this a known issue? We have followed white papers on setup for UniFi WiFi, all Sonos are on WiFi. TV auto sync is on and music grouping is on. When you play music you cannot just add other zones zones to playback. It adds then removes itself so group play is basically broken.
Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a serious and fully reproducible issue with my Sonos Ace headphones when using the official USB-C → 3.5mm cable provided in the box. I’m posting here to understand whether this is a known issue and if there is any official guidance or fix. What’s happening When using the headphones with the USB-C → 3.5mm cable, I hear constant electrical noise / buzzing / interference. The noise gets noticeably worse when: I touch or move a phone that is nearby That phone is charging The phone is close to other power cables or chargers Very important clarification The phone causing the interference is NOT connected to the headphones in any way. The phone is not paired via Bluetooth, not connected by cable, and not being used as an audio source. It is simply lying next to me, charging. When I pick up or touch that phone, the noise in the headphones immediately increases. When I move the phone away, the noise decreases. This strongly indicates electroma
Hi All. I have used Sonos forever and have about 15 speakers. Mostly Play1s and 5s and surround sound etc.I’m building a new house and wondered what the reviews are like re the ceiling speakers.I like the music pretty loud and clear with bass but am hesitant to move from my usual mobile plug in speakers which I am used to a fixed option. Are they worth it? Does the sound compare to the Play 1s and 5s?My ceilings are 9 ft tall. I’m assuming they are decent sounding but how decent? Trying to get my head around the ideaThanks in advanceAndrew
community. i see a dead 4 years ago entry regarding the PIN sonos assigns to each Sonos amp to be use in setup-what a ridiculous step!! larger installations make this sooopainful.i have customers with 10-16 audio zone amps in a rack.transferring ownership- having to factory defaultresetting 16 of these in a rack is a time consuming task.getting access to these PINs is such a headache.u have to disconnect everyone of these ampsin order to read those pins to reset them up under thenew owner. i cannot believe sonos has not found another simplersolution to getting to those PINscompletely criminal that you force this onto yourcustomer’s and installers..
I have read many frustrated comments about songs dropping out and back in intermittently on Sonus amp system. No solutions were offered except “wait an hour on the help line”. I solved my issue which I determined to be a conflict between the wireless router and the hard wired network connection (hard wired is by far preferred). After many hours of frustration….. It is as simple as relocating the wired network connection from the amp(s) (I have 6 in the system) from the modem to the first hub in the router mesh network. It seems that the wireless router (Deca 6e) can manage the wired output and not attempt to connect wirelessly. Note: as mentioned in other posts, if you disable the wireless capability of the amps they cannot communicate with wireless subs and era 100’s. I hope this helps you avoid the frustration I faced. Hello all,i just brought my Sonos back to life.i replaced as well several capacitors on the board.my concerns are about the 5 (820uF 35 V) caps.i replaced them all , but in normal use, or Even in standby they reach temperatures around 55 degrease.is this a normal situation or is there still some fault ? what do you think? happy to get some feedback from you all :-)
Using Sonos Arc Ultra with Sonos Ones as surrounds. The system works normally at first, but after the TV has been off for an extended period (overnight or a few hours), the surrounds disconnect and start blinking white.Behavior:TV off for a while > surrounds begin blinking white (attempting to reconnect) Turning TV back on > surrounds continue disconnecting/reconnecting (sometimes rapid white LED blinking) Rebooting the Arc Ultra > immediately fixes the issue Happens consistently after extended idleWhat has been tried:Factory reset Arc Ultra Disabled roaming assistant Disabled airtime fairness Reserved IPs for Arc Ultra and surrounds Bound Arc Ultra and surrounds to main node (mesh: ASUS RT-AX88U + RT-AX58U) 2.4 GHz channel manually set to 11Additional observation:When this happens, the surrounds appear and disappear on the networkQuestion:What is the expected idle behavior?Should surrounds remain connected to the Arc Ultra during standby? Or is it expected that they disconnec
