Reposting as a conversation since the question I asked was marked answered when it did not pertain to Android.I have searched and seen similar topics. Most relate to Amazon Music. I do not have any issues playing a Spotify playlist of more than 100 songs. If I select a playlist in my Music Library, any of the ways to get music into the queue results in 100 songs.I have tried the workarounds to empty the queue, add one song and then select Play Next for the entire playlist. That does not work. Nor does any of the selections to add or play the playlist in the queue. All result in an error and/or just the first 100 songs being added.I can scroll to the end of my playlist. The only way to play a song outside of the top 100 is to only add that song to the playlist. If I select any song beyond the top 100, it will play the 100th song.FWIW, I have my playlists in 2 formats, iTunes and m3u. Both behave the same. I get the same behavior on all devices. I currently only have Android d
Hi, following a broadband problem, I have reconnected my Sony soundbar to my Samsung TV. However, my remote control will only turn the volume up, not down. I can only turn it down from my Sonos App. Any suggestions as to how I can restore the sound control please?
Hello, I am trying to determine the best wireless configuration (if any) for a home theater solution with surround all connected to the Sonos Arc Ultra through TV.I have this list of Sonos components below: Arc Ultra Amp Sub Mini Era 100 x2Any advice on configuration or insight would be very helpful.
Have just bought the Sonos Ace headphones .Been wanting them for ages but delayed my purchase, because of the App disaster .Now I've got them I'm very disappointed. So much talk for the last few years ,that my brain has got it all wrong .I thought the idea was to connect to your wireless system .You could then continue to listen ,whilst on the move ,in your home .The plus purchase ,they are well made, very comfortable, connect via blue tooth. But you've missed sales, in turning your back on your expensive Sonos system.what a big flaw in introducing headphones without that extra offering . Wake up Sonos ,listen to your customers.Alarm bells are ringing in the streaming box .I will have to take a closer and more attentive approach in what I experienced so far
When using the Sonos App on iPhone 16 Pro, I have a longish Apple Music Playlist. Sonos will only play up to the letter “B” and that’s it…it doesn’t recognize the rest of the playlist. When I suspected that perhaps it needs to be “see” the selections in order to load everything I scrolled to the bottom and selected something else. Then it would only choose songs from a few letters worth of artists. Then the next time I went to play music from the same playlist, it went back to only playing A and B named artists. Is there some way to fully load the playlist permanently or to load it fully at each session?
Hi,I’ve got a Connect:AMP that powers on but will only output audio for a few minutes before the audio cuts out and goes into fault (orange white flash) mode.I’ve opened up the AMP and taken a look for any blown fuses or capacitors, none of which I can see.I suspect the issue lies on the logic board itself.Could anyone suggest where I should begin with diagnosing the logic board to resolve this issue?Ive attached some images of the AMP in this post. Thanks
Last couple of weeks, grouped rooms with alarms no longer works. It’ll play to the room selected but despite grouped rooms checked in the alarm setting and rooms grouped and playing fine at the time I go to bed, now they won’t group when the alarm goes off. I can’t see anything recent as this as an issue and alarms had been working and stable for months and now this!
Controls' volume is absurdly loud on sonos ace headphones, e.g. volume up/down, pause/resume, switching noise modes. I was very surprised that control notification sounds do not scale with the volume, and stay very loud at all times. Is there any way to either scale or lower them?
Napster on Sonos not working 4/7/2025The problem that happens is that the Napster service does not show up in Sonos, even though I pay for it etc. When trying to add it back in through the "add a music service" function in Sonos settings, you can authorize the service ok but then when you go back to Sonos to actually use it, Sonos gives an error "unable to connect". The solution for me was to go into my Napster account outside of Sonos, go to account settings and edit account settings and there will be a field called "Screen name" (already filled in by Napster with some random name) and then another field called "Real name". The Real name field was blank, so I filled it in with my choice of a random name (I did not use spaces in the name cuz the "Screen name" field didn't either). I then saved changes and then went back to Sonos and went through the process of adding a music service (Napster) and this time it asked for the name of the service (which it had not asked for before) and I
I have replaced an Arc with an Arc Ultra, attached via e-Arc to my Samsung QE55QN90B. They are associated with 2 Era 300s and a Gen 1 Sub.When playing from my NAS, ( Ethernet connected Jellyfin source), I get a short drop in audio every minute / couple of minutes. Only lasts a second. Sources from Atmos, to 5.1 to Stereo all experience it.As it all worked fine with the Arc, I’m assuming it is related to the Arc Ultra Any thoughts on cause / resolution ?
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum.I hope I'm writing in the right section, if not I apologize.I'm asking for your help on the "Sonos Five" product.I just bought it but I have some doubts, I can't adjust the highs and lows through the application, I move the cursor but nothing changes, while the balance and volume work regularly. What could it depend on?I also have another problem with the sound, on the highs it is too bright/sibilant, while the mid range is not very present, could it change with the break-in time? the bass is fabulous!!!Has anyone had the chance to compare the Era300 with the Five? Can the Era 300 have more relaxed highs and a more present mid-high? For the bass, can I add a subwoofer because I don't think it's at the same level as the Five. It's just my simple thought, but if it's worth it I could do it.Thanks in advance for your help.
I spend more time trying to get the sonos system to work than I do listening to the music. The app on my phone and desktop routinely fail to find any number of the devices on the system. When the device can be seen it will take an age to connect to and when it does finally connect it will show as playing but without actually outputting any music. This system is at work and we have an absolute mountain of speakers, lamps, ports and amps and not one of them is reliable. The system will ignore inputs and skip tracks at will and pause itself for no reason. If we weren't tens of thousands dollars deep into the sonos system I’d rip it all out and replace it all.If anyone else has a large system and has had similar issues I’d appreciate any fixes.
https://professionalsupport.dolby.com/s/article/Dolby-Atmos-and-Dolby-Audio-over-AirPlay-Application-Developer-Guide?language=en_US just went through this site with detailed guide on how developers can enable Dolby atmos via AirPlay on their devices with AirPlay 2 support yet Sonos maintains the same response that Apple hasn’t allowed third party speakers to use AirPlay 2 for Dolby atmos streaming what is going on? Need clarity as my Sonos era 300 system has been a pain to use via the Sonos app and if I just AirPlay then there’s no point of buying the era 300 as Dolby atmos doesnt work I could’ve just bought the era 100 which is way cheaper and still decent enough for a bedroom sound system
Can anyone tell me why Sonos support refuses to support their product? I’ve had issues with the Sonos arc sound bar since the day I bought it. Vendor I purchased it through directed me to go through Sonos support, but they refused to support their own product. The arc sound bar refuses to maintain a network connection, I’m at a loss because now it won’t even factory reset so it’s a very large paperweight at this point
Could someone from Sonos comment on the following:We would like to understand where our playlist data will reside under this new App design Are the playlist / favourites : retained solely on the Sonos devices and edited in situ & synched to all devices in our group? are Individual playlists created / copied to the cloud for editing etc and then synched back to the devices? (Then removed from the cloud) are all Playlists / Favourites replicated to the cloud, maintained in the cloud and then synched to all our devices? Some other combination ? Why the question ? We want to understand what will happen to our playlists & favourites when we are offline (ISP Failure etc.) which happens from time to time. Will we still be able to create / edit / play the playlists without a connection to the cloud?(We know the new app doesn’t work offline at the moment but there have been announcements that Sonos will be working on this so this question is purely about how playlists and favourites
I cannot connect my system to 011.fm retro
I have a library of over 26,000 songs but realisticly listen to only 5,000 or so. I decided to load these songs on a NAS drive to remove Airplay from the streaming path. NAS drives are quite pricey ranging from $300-$600 or more DISKLESS. So add another couple of hundred to install a decent sized SSD.I tried connecting an excellent SK Hynix 1Tb USB drive to my router USB port but there is an outstanding problem with Sonos S2 processing music libraries from a USB connected drive. Ethernet drives work fine and don’t have this problem. I calculated I would need approx 250 Gb to store 5000 FLAC files but the investment was over $500. for a good, reliable NAS. After a lot of research I decided to invest in an Amber X drive. I have no interest in using this to manage photos and videos or use any of the other available applications. Just music streaming. It has a very small footprint with both Ethernet and USB ports. The drive size is approx 480gB and I loaded all 5,080 FLAC files with room f
Feature request : Add a Sonos Beam Gen 2 center channel volume control slider. That's all.
I think it would be amazing if the app could store different settings for Music audio vs Theater audio, specifically the bass level. One of my favorite features about Sonos is that it can tell between just audio playback versus using my theater system and changes my settings on my play ones to rears automatically. In my case, one thing that I have found is that when the theater setting is on the bass is too loud for movies, but I prefer the bass to be louder during music
I have a 5 second delay in streaming anything to my play 1’s which are in another room to all my other sonos components.and am wondering if its the way I have them setup on my network. My equipment is that I have a virgin hub but a netgear orbi mesh system plugged into the hub. On my netgear mesh I have the router and two satelites. My sonos estate is such - in lounge arc/sub/2 play 5’s, in conservatory - beam and in a more distant room two play 1’s which is where I have the issue. The room where I have the play 1’s is where one of the orbi satelites (ap’s) lives.I have a ethernet connection from the orbi router (via a small switch) connected into the arc. My orbi mesh system gui shows all sonos compponents as being ‘wired’ as they all are seen as going through that one wired connection (even though of course they connect wirelessly between themselves). I am thinking that if I can get the play 1’s to connect via their nearby satelite that the connection will be better. How do i do th
Hi all,I often get the message that I cannot add a song to the queue. Steps to reproduce 1. Do a search for a song in your library (on my NAS)2. Try adding to the queue ( usually fails)3. Play the song, replacing the queue 4. Do steps 1 and 2.Rebooting the App doesn't help, rebooting my router doesn't hel.Any suggestions?
I just recently upgraded to the LG C5 and my soundbar works fine but I can’t seem to get my subwoofer working properly. It’s in the same room and nothing has changed. Has anyone else had this issue?
Ok so playlist editing is back… sort of. Unfortunately you can add songs, albums to a list or create a new list. But you can no longer play that list😳 Before last weeks update I could see my playlists under Favourites, but now they have gone. Is there any testing done before releases and do those who do the testing actually know how to use the system?
Greetings! I’m experiencing a lack of audio in my home theater system, which includes the Arc, Sub, and two Ones for surround sound. I use a Sony 4K vol-wv295es projector, Apple TV 4K, and either a AV matrix or an HDFury Arcana to split video and audio. This setup used to work extraordinarily well. Now, however, I get no audio on the Sonos Arc no matter what I do. All equipment firmware is up-to-date, all HDMI cables are compatible. The Arc works fine when it comes to streaming music, and the Apple TV 4K can stream audio to an Apple AirPods Max Pro.Any suggestions to get the audio working?
This is my third question. I divided them up since they are for different issues. When I pick Dolby Atmos on the PS5 (Pro) sound settings, then volume levels in games don’t seem right. In god of war ragnarok Mimirs voice is too quiet, and Atreus voice is too loud. Boss battle effects are also super loud. In tekken 8 the commentators voice is too quiet. However If I change to LPCM, then the volume levels are much more even, and what I would expect. It’s one thing for some effects to be so loud, but it doesn’t make sense for character voices to have different db levels.I am wondering if this has anything to do with the Arc Ultra, or if other Dolby Atmos soundbars will have the exact same issue to the same extent? Does the Arc Ultra highlight the issue more than say a Samsung soundbar? With the TV speakers it’s not that noticeable. It’s an LG C4 so it supports Dolby Atmos, but obviously it also has much less capable speakers.
