Hello,I’ve had my Roam for over a year and it has been acting up for the last couple of months. It’s now at the point where it’s sitting on the charger but there are no lights on and I can’t reset it.
Hello peopleOn Sonos it has my cloud home in the top right hand corner spyglass how can I use this especially as I have a Western Digital my iCloud which I already use for Sonos for local hard driveSo therefore, I would like to use this to set up playlists in my cloud home and access them, but I don't know how to get into it to perform this taskThank you, Mark
I have had issues with my Sonos devices losing connection to my T-Mobile Home Internet service. It went on for months while I searched for an answer. The problem now seems resolfved. T-Mobile gave me an Arcadyan KV21 gateway. Speeds were never an issue. I accumulated 1 ARC, 2 Beams, 2 Amps and a sub woofer. I could play music from a service maybe 10 minutes before the connection issues came up. Sonos answer was that their products are not compatible with LTE routers or services so I shouldnt expect it to work. I went back to T-Mobile and had them replace my Arcadyan gateway with a Sagemcom. I hooked it up and my Sonos equipment connected and stayed connected. Problem solved or so I thought. Then came the Prime Video streaming service issues, it just would not work. Then, another device in my home refused to connect. But Sonos still worked.I had read that an eero mesh wifi system hooked to the T-Mobile gateway might help and finally all my devices seem to work. Cost me an
Just set up a stereo pair, with Sub (Gen2) and there is no Quick tune option nor Balance control for this room. Trueplay works as expected though Is quicktune not available for this set up? I sort of understand the balance option missing but there are still cases where it may be helpful. Is this deliberate or is there an issue?
Just to spread the knowledge: I moved apartments and Verizon upgraded my FIOS router from the G3100. I immediately began experiencing issues with music streaming, connecting to speakers, changing the volume etc. Basically nothing worked, or in the sparing moments it did it lagged immensely. I searched around and applied some fixes to no avail, then spoke with Sonos Support for an hour experimenting many of the same approaches with no success. I finally stumbled across a router setting that solved everything, although I suspect it was a combination of the settings changes I made that solved things. Overall here’s what I tried: Connecting one speaker to the router via ethernet to start a Wired Connection Setting the Sonos Network to Channel 11 in System > Network In the My Fios App, going to Advanced Settings and turning of SON (Self-Organizing Network) Explicitly Naming the 5ghz and 2.4ghz SSIDs (What finally solved it) Disabling DFS ChannelsI suspect one or more of these steps may
The Apple Music application will tell me that a song already exists in a playlist and ask me if I want to add it anyway. The Sonos application on my iPhone will let you add the same file indefinitely. This shouldn’t be a hard feature to implement. Please add it to the product.
BonjourJ'ai essayer de brancher un sub bose 700 avec sonos amp, ca detecte pas , même service technique de sonos non pas trouvé une interpretation, quelqu'un a eu ce type de problème
Part #’s used for repair, updating the 8 year old thread with the same nameMy ancient ZP100 no longer powered up, I found the great guide here by berrisford5, but some details where missing. The (2) fuses where blown, I bought them on Amazon, they are Slow-Blow 4A 250VAmazon Description: uxcell 20Pcs DIP Mounted Miniature Cylinder Slow Blow Micro Fuse T4A 4A 250V Red - They are $8.49 for 20 The TVS Diode (connects directly after transformer on power supply PCB) was also shorted, in the old thread it’s refered to as “CA48”, I found this TVS Diode on DigiKey, part # for it is “SMCJ48CA”, they are .65 each, bought 5, the shipping cost more.. awaiting the TVS diode to finish the repair. Hope this helps anyone with an ancient 2006 ZP100 Mitch
Haven’t uses my Sonos in a year. How do I set it up again
Changed internet providers. Old wifi equipment is gone, of course, yet after the fact, Sonos instructs me to have both my device/app and the Sonos system on the same network or you can’t switch to the new network. Did anyone at Sonos think this through? And it is the weekend, so no phone assistance from Sonos. Time for this brand to get past 1995 technology. Do we really have to reboot Sonos to switch wifi, nobody, but nobody else requires this. Why did I purchase this system (not the first time I’ve thought it was a mistake)
Well, it sounds like using Sonos from Android is over. Thanks…. not…. Sonos keeps doing things that make me prevent recommending Sonos. Kind of crazy.
I know it takes a while for Sonos to update Trueplay for new phone models. But the prior version finally added support it seemed for the iPhone 14 Pro, which I have. So I was able to tune both my systems using it. Hadn’t opened the app in a few days, noticed it updated to 15.4, and now the Trueplay option is back to being greyed out. My iOS version is 16.4.1(a): Is this intentional, due to perhaps a bug or issue? I got great results when it was enabled for that one version (I’m assuming it’s the prior version, or at least a recent one) with my subs and audio in general. Anyway, what’s up with taking away Trueplay for the iPhone 14 Pro, is there some bug/quality control issue? Gripe #2: now when I hold the slider down to adjust the volume on say the subwoofer, instead of it showing what the current value is as I slide it (so you see say “Sub Level 0” change to “Sub Level +1”, “Sub Level +2”, etc as you slid right), it no longer displays the change: you have to slide, then let go, then i
Seen rumors about this but just now I see on the Sons web site it is listed as “Last Chance”, so can we can some kind of official statement about the lifetime of the Boost? With the removal of SonosNet support from the newest hardware, it makes me sad, as home routers aren’t getting any smarter on average and SonosNet is still the best solution for any number of connectivity issues.
I’m conflicted and I need some help, right now Best Buy has a pair of Sonance - MAG Series 2.0-Ch. Outdoor Streaming speaker and a Sonos Amp 2nd Gen. on sale for $1,000 while a pair of Sonos - Architectural 6-1/2" Passive 2-Way Outdoor Speakers are $875 and the amp another $700. Can someone explain to me the difference between the Sonance - MAG Series 2.0-Ch. Outdoor Streaming speakers and the Sonos - Architectural 6-1/2" Passive 2-Way Outdoor Speakers. Do they produce the same level of sound and clarity or is there a material difference between them.
I bought my play bar and sub at the same time plus 2 other speakers. I got a new WiFi system and had huge issues reconnecting devises. The old Sonos app insisted I upgrade to S2. Did it and now it’s saying ONLY my soundbar is compatible. So I now only have that working. Every time I go into the S2 app it says to disable the other devices I have to connect them to an earthnet. Why why why. All I did was change my WiFi. I don’t want one product on one app and the other 3 on another. The sub and soundbar were paired. This is a total nightmare
I added 2 e300 surrounds speakersWell recognized with arcBut when I listen tv in 5.1 there is no sound into the surround speakersI would like to set like the first time with all the bios to detect the space, how can I do that, please?
I have a Beam 2, with 2 symphonik rears. I want to group one ERA 300 as a front speaker with the Beam to get up firing Atmos capability. I don’t want to spend 900 for rears. Can I group one 300 with my Beam setup and still get my movies in Atmos?
Hi, I’ve read all the other past posts and I’ve been able to work out most things when connecting my Beam 2 to my LG tv for dolby atmos to work but the instruction to put “HDMI input audio format: HDMI 2 Bitstream” doesn’t work for me as it’s grey’d out and I can not select anything. However, when nothing is playing through the sonos, that menu option isn’t grey’d out for me and it’s automatically selected to whichever HDMI I’ve previously selected. For example, if I’m on HDMI 1 (even though the HDMI ARC is HDMI 2), that menu is already selected to HDMI 1. Anyone got any advice?
We use our Sonos to play whitenoise through pandora and although this works fine normally, it can go down when my internet goes down. Unfortunately, pandora offline mode doesn't work with Sonos. Does anyone have a solid hour whitenoise MP3 that sounds full and good on Sonos? The few I found online sound very piercing and hollow on a good speaker like Sonos beam. I'm wondering if anyone has a licence free MP3 of one that I could play through my local network.
My iPhone12 is “unable to connect to Sonos” using the s2 app. After calling in to the Helpdesk I learn that my Sonos Play1 is online, connected to the Wifi network, and it on the same network as my iPhone. However, the S2 App cannot find it because the “Limit IP Address tracking” option, which is primarily for Mail and Safari, is switched on.When I switch this selection off the “Private WiFi Address” selection automatically switches on. The iPhone system toggles between one of the options being on for at least one round, until I can finally switch them both off. And, when I switch both of them off, then my iPhone gives me notice of a “Privacy Warning.” The Helpdesk agent informed me that the Sonos cannot be accessed if I am using either of the privacy settings on my phone, even without a VPN. I am saddened as it seems the only way to use this device is to expose my phone or other iOS device to privacy risks. Is there anyway around this. Can’t I just bluetooth connect them? The He
I have a Sonos system that I can control with the Sonos app on my Mac system, I’m wondering if I can get any of my Sonos devices to show up as Source on my Mac system?
So. Alexa and Sonos, wouldn’t say it has ever worked like a charm, but at least decently. However, a couple of weeks ago, things became absolutely horrible: Alexa would no longer “stop” any music if I tell her to do soAlexa would often confirm to play a requested Radio Station, only to NOT play anything afterwardsAlexa would often confirm to play a requested song, only to either play nothing at all, or play a completely different songAll my Sonos devices (2x One, 1 Beam) have been re-set and re-installed from scratch couple of times. Alexa was removed and re-added as a voice service. Alexa app was deleted and reinstalled. None of this helped! My father-in-law is experiencing very similar issues lately, so I’m starting to wonder if it’s a more general problem?
My current set up is a Connect:Amp hooked to a Monoprice 4 speaker selector (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=9995T) which is then connected to 2 pairs of Polk RCi80 ceiling speakers in my kitchen and one pair of Polk Atrium 6 for my patio. The current system works well as I rarely need to play them all together so in the winter the speaker selector is programmed to my kitchen and in the summer it's programmed to my outdoor speakersI am building a large covered patio and thinking I can keep my existing set up and replace the Polk Atrium 6's with one pair of outdoor ceiling speaker (non-Sonos brand) and then add another pair for ceiling speakers (also non-Sonos) and that will fill out my speaker selector (2 pairs outside, 2 pairs inside). The Sonos Connect:Amp is located inside in a media closet and the TV will be outside under a covered patioI want to add a soundbar to the system so that I can play TV audio out of the soundbar but also hear the TV sound coming from the ceiling s
Hello, I ran across this recent 5-Apr-23 article which suggests using an household feature in the Sonos app:https://soundscapehq.com/sonos-multiple-users/From the article: To use Sonos Multiple Users, you’ll need to create a household. This can be done by selecting “Settings” > “My Household” > “Create Household” in the Sonos app. There is no mention of the app version needed and I do not see any such setting/option in the current iOS version of the app nor Android app. I’m guessing this is not a real feature but wanted to ask the experts here. Thank you,Chris
