My wife’s MacBook name has changed since we added her music folder to our Sonos library. So when we tried to play music it was not found. So I added her new music folder to the Sonos library and removed the old one, and everything appeared to have updated. However, when trying to play a track from her library we get the same error - it is looking for the track in the old location. How do you get Sonos to look for the track in the new updated library?? Thanks
Hello - My issue is Spotify, through the Sonos app, will NOT recognize any of my personal library content. I have multiple playlists created in Spotify app on my laptop...but when I open Spotify in Sonos, you can see my library/playlists/songs/artists, but everything is shaded out and will not play when clicked on. I have experimented by creating playlists in the other apps in Sonos such as YouTube Music (plays fine/sees all my songs), even created a few Sonos Play lists (it sees my songs also and they play perfectly). I am pretty knowledgeable with these issues, I have gone through the Spotify settings over & over and even re-authorized Spotify several times - nothing works. When I use Spotify app on my laptop with Roam in Bluetooth mode - where I have created my playlists from my library - NOT THROUGH SONOS APP - it operates perfect. I’m running the “premium” version of Spotify. I can’t understand why when Sonos offers the Spotify app in its app menu it won’t recognize my librar
Qqun peut-il me l’expliquer ?
Hello, I have two Sonos Ones and one Sonos One SL. The two Sonos Ones are setup as a stereo pair. Overall everything works great except one small and infuriating problem. When I open the Sonos app on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+) my husbands phone (Samsung Galaxy S22) and my son’s phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+) can no longer connect to any Sonos speakers. They get the message that the phone can’t “find the network”. If we go through the process of getting their phones to find and recognize the Sonos speakers then my phone no longer is connected and I have the same message. We have not changed the wifi network/router recently. The Sonos speaker are all online and work fine. It just seems that if my phone is able to connect my husband and son’s phones can’t and visa versa. We have checked all the settings on the phones, they have the same app version, same network settings, same wifi network connection, same android OS version, same everything. As you can imagine the frustration is very h
I am struggling with configuring my VPN (Norton 360) to work with online streams. I have set a split tunnel for the Sonos.exe desktop app in the VPN and that enables my NAS content without problem. However all online services seem to be inaccessible, Pandora, Amazon music, TuneIn Radio, Sonos Radio etc are not accessible with the VPN. I can toggle the services off and on with the VPN (some latency with VPN off as the Sonos desktop app seems to keep some memory on last accessed content)Note also that the streams are accessible with active VPN through a web browser without problemThanks for any advice on how to configure Sonos desktop or VPN

Every morning I do this to get music going:I add a playlist from my music server to the queue on my Move. Then I add the ‘My Supermix’ playlist from youtube to the same queue.I shuffle the contents, and press play.Is there an easier way to do this? Both playlists are dynamic. Can I create a Sonos playlist that contains a reference to the playlist on my music server, and a reference to the Youtube ‘My Supermix’, so that all I have to do is open that playlist, shuffle it and press play? Thanks!PS - I realize this is an insanely first world problem to be having. In my defense, it’s taken me quite some time to get my environment working this well.David
I have Sonos in two houses (A and B) and separate equipment. I want the two houses with the same app and I have understood this should be working automatically after setup depending on which WiFi I am connected to.But it doesn’t work in the last step and I don’t understand what to do to make it work (and I am also not sure if I have done the first two steps correctly). This is the situation:I have set up a Sonos system in house A using iPhone with Sonos Account A (I have both an iPad and a Macbook there and they also work fine). I have then taken my iPhone to house B and created a Sonos Account B, factory reset my Sonos products there and everything is working fine. When I go back to house A again and connect to that WiFi the Sonos app doesn’t work - what should be done in this last step? Thanks in advance!Klas
I have a Sonos IKEA frame and have recently reconfigured my wireless network. As a results, I fail to connect the Sonos speaker. I have tried all the suggestions to reset, restart etc. I have even checked that my speaker connects to a network in a different building. My hunch is that there is some incompatibility between the speaker and my network settings, but I cannot figure out what to do.Any suggestions?
I have 3 speakers in 3 different rooms. Most times I only want to listen to the speaker in the room I am in but there are times where I may want to play speaker 1 and 2, or 1 and 3, or 2 and 3, etc. It seems like I have to create a group and then delete it if I want to play on different combinations of speakers. These are S2 speakers that are downgraded to S1. Ideally, I would like to play something on a speaker and then check and uncheck other speakers as desired.
I am trying to add the Apple Music library on my MacBook Pro to my the Sonos 2 app on my iPad. I keep getting the error message “There is no share users on the computer ...” What does this error message mean, what settings do I need to update on my MBP, what are the required values for the fields in the Share Info box? I have \\MBP name\users\my account name\music. I am running the latest versions of Sonos app, Mac O/S, iOS
I have heard that sonos cannot handle 24bits stream music. Since tidal and deezer stream 24 bits music i think that is the reason why sonos always unsync problems and lags if not all ethernet wired. I also read that Qobuz is the first music streaming service that is able to play 24-bit high-resolution audio on Sonos speakers. See the link: https://www.gearpatrol.com/tech/audio/a35924794/how-to-stream-high-resolution-audio-sonos-speakers/ ...But Qobuz is not available in my country Canada. Any update on this issue, if one day i will be able to play loseless 24 bits music and peacefully enjoy my sonos devices?
Hello,I stayed at an Airbnb a few months ago that had a sonos system available for guests to use. I had no trouble using that system while there. However, since I have been home, I’ve not been able to seamlessly use my own system. I now always get “can’t find your sonos” message when I open my sonos app, and the app always prompts me to find my find my system and then asks me to choose which system I want to update—this Airbnb system or my actual owned system. Can I somehow permanently delete the Airbnb system so that my app is no longer confused?? thanks!
I’ve been using my old Sonos Play:1 with Apple Music for some time. I recently ‘downgraded’ the subscription to Apple Music Voice, because it’s £6/month cheaper and I didn’t need the extras provided with a full subscription. It may be a co-incidence, but since then, Sonos won’t recognise my Apple Music subscription. It keeps telling me that I need to renew my Apple Music subscription, which I don’t. I have tried signing out of Sonos and back in again, rebooting the speaker, signing out of Apple Music and back in again, disconnecting Apple Music from the Sonos app and reconnecting. Nothing seems to work. Suggestions?
Hello, I hope someone can help as this is driving me nuts.A few days ago both Deezer Hi Fi and Tidal both stopped each track approx 10s early on each track. Apple Music doesn’t do it though. So far, Sonos haven’t had the slightest idea despite 3 lengthy calls.I’m using Connect with an outboard Ifi Signature Zen one Dac via co ax Prodac cable .It doesn’t do it if using within their own app bluetoothed so it’s not the streaming services I’d think . Kind regards Stephen
Hi All,I use the Sonos app to play music. But I have a frustrating issue I am hoping you can help with.If I am in the kitchen, and select some music to play, it will play on the kitchen speaker. From here I can choose to play in the living room also (which is next to kitchen). If I walk into the living room. And choose to extend the music playing into the living room, it doesn’t show me the option for the kitchen, and therefore I lose the ability to joint control the two rooms.Does anyone else experience this?
When listening to amazon music hd within the Sonos s2 app ,. the song may continue playing (since I see the playback occurring in the app) but there is no sound. This has happened a few times in past week. Also, at times the payback just completely stops. Now the interesting. thing is If I use the Amazon Music app and use ‘Alexa cast’ to send it to the same Sonos speakers (stereo pair of fives) it works perfectly.
For the past week, I have been unable to add tracks to a queue from any service, Amazon, Spotify, etc. I receive no error message. Nor do I have the dropdown that allows me to Play Next. My mac and Sonos S2 software is up to date. I’ve tried rebooting my mac and my roam, with no success. I’m hesitant to reboot my router because my Sonos system seems to be functioning properly. Previously, I was able to add tracks to my queue and create playlists. However, I can’t do that today. Any advice?
