I use every morning m/f the alarm clock feature with my Sonos system, which works pretty well. However every time I leave home for a few days for my business trips I ALWAYS forget to shut it off so that it won’t play around the house while I’m not there. Sonos team should add a feature to allow, perhaps through logging in into the account, to shut off the alarm even if you are not logged in on the same WiFi network of the Sonos system, so now I could shut it off even while I am away from home!:S
Hello,Every time I receive a notification that there is a new Sonos app update available, I download the update and then it fails. I use a Mac and always have to uninstall Sonos, then reinstall from the website. It’s not a big deal, but wondering if there is a fix for this? Thanks!
The lack of sensitivity of the low level volume control makes adjusting the volume at low level very difficult/impossible. We like to have music playing softly in the background at times. It is difficult to adjust the volume to a easy listening soft level. Often it is either off or too loud. I tried various methods on all the devices I own to adjust the volume and nothing gives adequate level of control. Searching here on the community for "low volume control" indicates that there are many people complaining about this problem. Why won't Sonos change the response curve of volume controls to give more granularity at lower end of curve to allow all of the Sonos customers that want to enjoy the music at a low level the ability to easily set the volume at a desired level. All of you out there that have this same request please put in a Feature Request to Sonos to "Change response curve of volume controls to give more granularity at lower end of curve" lets see if we
Just wondering if anyone else feels this may be of use. I'd love there to be faster direct access to the EQ settings via the currently playing song menu. I'm often adjusting bass etc to suit varying sound qualities of different tracks. It seems a little long winded as it is.

I want “My library” (or whatever it’s called in the English version) in the Spotify tab to be on top since I’m not interested in Spotify’s advice. Since some update Spotify have added a multitude of categories and placed “My library” at the bottom. This is annoying, especially on the iPhone where I have to scroll a lot to reach the bottom. Is there anything to do about this? To put “My Library” on top?
As of 10/28/2019 version 10.5 of the app requires Android 7.0 or later. We purchased a PLAY:5 planning to use our Android 6.0 phones to set it up. Is the 10.4 version still available? Otherwise a new phone ($$) or we own a boat anchor. We plan to use it exclusively as an internet radio.Any helpful info will be appreciated.
Sonos on my iPhone no longer lists “songs on this phone” as an option. How can I listen to my iTunes library on my sonos?
I’ve just received an offer to get a discount off the purchase of a Boost to replace my Bridge, claiming better performance. (Before end of year offer)I’m not aware of any issues with my Sonos system. Is the Bridge going to remain in support or is it being dropped/obsoleted in the near term?If not then I see not need to spend funds for no apparent gain. Perhaps a Sonos Support Employee can advise on this, please?
I have a Sonos Connect device that's connected vie digital connection to my home hifi Dac's. I want to enjoy the highest available Hi-Res streaming Audio available , In Tidal , there is a HIFI stream account and Premium account. the HIFI is about $26 a month that 2.5 more expensive then the premium billed. Is the Sonos Connect device can accept / deliver the 1411Kbps that in the HIFI expensive account ? I want to choose the right Tidal account but its depend on the Sonos Connect capabilities. Thanks
I asked this Apple / Trueplay question a year ago and went with a borrowed phone, now have a few more Sonos and wanted to get my own Apple whatever but the Sonos support page is pretty much no help.---------https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3222?language=en_USSupported mobile devicesTrueplay tuning is available on all fully-supported iOS or iPadOS devices that can run the Sonos app,----------Trying a chat session was equally frustrating with the same answer. Not having owned an Apple anything since my Apple II how do I figure out what devices are fully supported? Knowing which will soon be unsupported so I don’t have to buy another soon would be good too.
In a separate, and disparate thread, it was brought to light from a Community Manager that Sonos arbitrarily eliminated the ability to crossfade music playing through Spotify Connect. This seems to have occurred in version 10.4. There are many of us hoping that, unless there is a security measure associated with this, that it returns in future versions. Thank you.
Is there any plan to introduce a Chrome extension to control Sonos?
Trying to connect a Cambridge audio CD player to Sonos- using a coaxial digital output via digital to analog adaptor and from there to the rca inputs on the Sonos connect. My app shows line in disconnected greyed out - I can see CD player below as a source but can't activate as the line in is the issue- suggestions?? Have powered off- doesn't change.
My Pixel phone just got updated to Android 10 and now there is no song listed on the lock screen. Just the artist and the controls. What happened? I tried to search for the answer but search is horrible on this forum. There is no way to sort by recent, it just jumbles them all up trying to show you what is relevant (it failed). Thanks - Steve
Got a notice on my iPhone today that Sonos is no longer going to make streaming from my iPhone an option for some bs reason. It will require you to stream from a Mac or a computer or buy a hub. Some BS reason that it's compatibility issues with newer iphones/software. Thank God I bought them two days ago and am returning them. It's 2019 Sonos - is it really that hard to create a software patch? I was OK putting up with the WiFi only, but now likely to go to Harman Kardon and stream via bluetooth and not be stuck in 2014 WiFi. So dumb.
Because we have it on a bedroom, we'll use the sleep timer every time: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/452?language=en_US My wife ordered a chance to remember the last timer, so Next time I put music on play, it's on. Our sleep timer is set up in 30 minutes. Every night we'll set it again. It could be that he remembers the situation last and change when I change. I guess it's not all like that so. Maybe add a slider - ‘Remember my last sleep timer’. And then every time I put the music playing, it automatically started. What do you think of such thought?
I have a Google home hub and a Sonos beam and I would like to set my default speaker for the Google Home Hub to the Beam speakers. When going in to the Home app it doesn't recognize the Beam, or at least it doesn't allow me to add the Beam as my default speaker. Anyone else has this experience?
I have just set up a new Amp in my great room. It powers 3 pairs of speakers through an impedance matching distribution system with separate volume controls. I have also ran the Amp’s sub out to 3 powered subs in the same room. This room also has a Playbar, Sub, and 2 Play 3s as a TV surround set up. I use the Amp for music mainly and occasionally group them both together for big sound. The new Amp settings menu has a “calibrate sub” feature to, I assume, adjust phase by comparing A to B test tones etc. I see the widget but it won’t start. Any ideas or success from anyone?
At some point I added two sonos speakers and created a 2nd "living room" How do I combine them to have one room?
Hi Sonos It would be really nice if you can reverse the queue, because of the following reason. When I add a Spotify playlist (which I update weekly) to the queue, all my recent added songs end up at the bottom of the queue. So if I want to listen the recent added songs (let's say 5) I have to scroll all the way down (it contains 500+ songs) to listen to them. And after the 5 songs, the queue reached the end and the music stops. In short: reverse the queue so I can listen "back in time" This would be awesome! (and max 5 story point when it comes to Scrum ;-) Looking forward to the next release! Cheers, Wouter
HELP!! Can someone tell me why the app will not let me add a speaker. I have the Sonos app for Androids loaded on my Samsung. I want to add a new Sonos speaker to my current setup. Have gone into the app> System> but the “Add Product” is grayed out so can not add anything. I’ve even un-installed and re-installed the controller app. Still not showing up to add a speaker.Feeling really stupid here. I am pretty good with computers/apps but can’t figure out why I can not simply add a single Sonos (sonos one) speaker. It shouldn’t be this hard. Feeling like I should have NEVER invested the $$$ in this system. Anyone have any idea why the app is not letting me add a speaker to my current system
Ok, this is question that has appear regularly in the forum ever since I first started using sonos. Search the forum for ‘greyed out’ and it comes up over and over with the same problem in various guises, but in all those I’ve never seen a satisfactory answer.I’ve got an iPad 4 running iOS 10.3.3, yes I know it’s ancient, it must be all of 6 years old (Apple discontinued the 4 back in Oct 2014) so by Apple standards it’s a museum piece. Apple make a lot of money by bring out new H/W and persuading users to land fill ‘old’ devices. iOS 10.3.3 is the last upgrade available for iPad 4’s.So yes I know there may be new apps and functionality I can’t have because my iPad is not supported (apple blur the distinction between ‘out of support’ and ‘not supported’). However I’m happy with my iPad, it does, or at least did do, all i need and more. I neither want, or currently, need a new iPad.So why, when I was forced to install a sonos update, did it grey out some functionality, i.e. from my per
