hello, i would like to have Yandex Music (Яндекс.Музыка) on my Sonos, like many other people: https://en.community.sonos.com/music-services-and-sources-228994/yandex-music-yandeks-muzyka-6235898
I know a lot of people have asked about sorting playlists in an order for which you do not get a field. However, in “Your Library”… Albums, my saved music, you have the artist name and album name yet that list is sorted by the order in which I added them to the library. That makes it so impossible to find that I end up having to just search which gets tedious. Can there be a sort option like “title” or “Artist” such that I can browse that list in an easier fashion? I assume you can sort after you get the data from Spotify on data fields that are visible in the list?
I would like to be able to listen to Radiooooo.com (also an iOS app) on Sonos. Is there any way to suggest radio streams to Sonos? This one would be a little involved than a simple internet radio stream since the app lets you choose a country and a decade and streams commercial-free music from there. How ‘bout it Sonos?
Sonos Support on Twitter seems to suggest that Arc supports streaming of TIDAL Atmos tracks; however, there is a curious inclusion of “when using a compatible TV” in their response. Has anyone tried this yet or know if the music has to be streamed through the TV source first rather than directly from the Sonos or TIDAL apps to the Arc? “... With S2, 24 bit audio is now supported for Music Library and NAS shares. You can also preview Dolby Atmos Music on TIDAL when using a compatible TV with the new Sonos Arc.” Link: https://twitter.com/sonossupport/status/1270038144889638916?s=21
How can I check Amazon hd streaming quality on sonos 1 controller?
When I purchased my two Play 3 speakers, I was able to group them so one played in the lounge and the other in the kitchen. It seems I now need at least 3 speakers to be able to group. Is this correct and if so, what is the cheapest option to achieve what I want, i.e. to be able to play the same music in different rooms?Do I really need to purchase a 3rd Sonos speaker or can I group my Google home speaker with my 2 Sonos speakers? Thank you
Good morning all,I'm new to this community, your help and advise would greatly appreciated. I have recently setup a new setup which consists of Bt Full fibre to house Fttp. Draytek AP1000C x 3 and a Draytek 48port PoE switch. I decided to separate the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz as I wanted to know which bandwidth i am connecting too. Yesterday, I setup my Sonos home cinema system to the 2.4ghz SSID. It all works fine as long as im on that SSID, however if I then chose to move over to the 5ghz SSID it doesn't see a network and Sonos will not connect on my mobile phone. Sonos system is wifi only no ethernet connected. Please can you advise if is it possible for the Sonos controller to work on both SSID. My system comprises of a Playbar with sub 2 xSonos one (Gen 2) surround (TV Room)Additionally for music only.Sonos play 5 (Gen2) x 2 loungeSonos one (Gen 2) x 2 office and bedroom
After I changed the email for my napster account password, my songs, stations, etc stop loading on sonos. I realized I hadn’t changed my sonos email address so I just did that, hoping it would fix the problem. However, when I go to settings on Sonos, my new email appears as “name” and my old email is “account login.” Settings allows you to edit your name or password but not the account login. Help.
I have a Sonos Amp and a Pro-Ject CD Box connected to line in. Is it possible to pair the Pro-Ject remote control (pictured below) with the Sonos Amp to control volume? If yes, how?I also have a TV connected via HDMI ARC, and the only thing I manage to do is to pair the TV remote (Samsung) to control the Sonos Amp via IR, in addition to ARC, which is an almost decent workaround to control volume when listening to line in, without having to turn the TV on, but it would be really smooth to be able to do that with the Pro-Ject remote instead. When I try to pair it now, the Sonos app just says it does not detect any IR signal. (And yes, the battery is OK, and the remote is fully functional).
Hi,Firstly, I'd like to say I love my sonos system. I consider my self a sonos super user, I funnel thousands of tracks through the app on my phone. I have soundcloud, bandcamp, Spotify, mixcloud, multiple computers running as servers, I even have access to a few of my mates soundcloud and bandcamp accounts aswell. The app is great but there are improvements that need to be made/fixed. I searched on other threads but couldn't find the same issues that I'm having. My issues are more to do with the layout and ease of playing music and nothing to do with system connectivity. Miss hitting buttons, slides, volumes etc. First - On the music playing screen :1 - the slider for skipping through the track is to small, countless times I've gone to slide forward through a track and accidentally hit the title of the track bringing up the menu for that particular track (ie like, dislike, playlist selection). There's a lot of real estate on the screen maybe make cover pic smaller or move slider. 2 -
Has Sonos STILL not permitted Harmony Hub or other third party controllers to select Line-In as source on Connect or other Sonos devices with a line-in? This would make a world of difference in making my Connect, Play:5 and Amp useful! Please make this happen soon Sonos
Beyond the improved sound quality and the additional features (replay song, skip song, no commercials) are there additional channels of programming on the paid tier of Sonos Radio vs the free one?
Hi all - I got a pair of One SL speakers and a sub. They sound great paired as a stereo setup, and I love how well it fills my room with sound. I only use the system in my office and I love the wireless setup. My problem is that I can’t figure out how to use this thing properly. I use Spotify a lot, I do a lot of YouTube, watch videos on Facebook from time to time, and listen to podcasts/audio right from a browser. With my old bluetooth speakers, i just set the bt speaker as the audio out for my laptop and everything is perfect. With Sonos, every time I change to a new audio source (i.e. from Spotify to browser) I wind up having to figure out how to re-adjust the volume and make sure it’s coming from the Sonos speakers. I thought I could set my computer to use the Airplay/Sonos as it’s audio output .but it keeps disconnecting. For example, say I am listing to a youtube video and my OSX is using Airplay to play on Sonos. Now i move to another tab and play a video on Facebook (or anywhere
Why must Sonos HD radio have to interrupt (at very high volume) your HD Radio Stream and obnoxiously tell you what station you were listening to? This is the MAIN reason I cancelled the service.
Hi, I’m trying to run the trueplay optimisation but when the noise test starts at the very beginning it seems it never ends. Attached the screenshot. Any advice on how to proceed?I already followed the basic instructions: no noise in he room, no other open apps, no Bluetooth devices connected…thanksN
When I play a folder on my Sonos app, then next song in the list begins playing about 1-2 seconds before the current song is completed. Playing the same folder on a different media player to my ear buds works correctly and there is a short dely between songs. Len
have an Amazon Australia Prime 30 day trial. Have selected Amazon music in Sonos app and authorised the account. Service appears but when select music ie a station it says I need to start a trial with Amazon UK. I do have an Amazon UK account but no prime membership. is there a setting somewhere with Amazon that I need to change?
I have an album of wma songs on my phone. I can play the songs through my phone to Sonos if I go through the option to play music on 'this device'. However, I want to add the songs to a playlist, but every time I call up the 'add to a Sonos playlist' it doesn't do anything. It's like the option, in bold black like the rest of the options, is just a bunch of words and not a 'button'. I can select other options, just not the add to a Sonos playlist one. What's going on? What am I doing wrong?
Hi I have Sonos S1 on my iMac.Recently sold my PLAY5 gen 1, so I thought I would upgrade my system to S2 all others as S2 compatible. On phones, Ipad, and other devices all ok; but on the MacBook Pro the app store does not list the Sonos S2 App? And on the Sonos website it states it is only available through the app ?? ? ? So where is it ? ? ? thanks
I am once again asking if there is anyway to sort folders in the music library independently? For my podcasts I want it sorted by name, for music by song number. I asked this question a year ago. Others have asked for this earlier. I’m still using S1...is this any different in the new controller? If not, all I can say is this is really bad that something like this hasn’t been implemented.
If I’m listening to music on Beam, but had speech enhancement and/or Night Sound turned ON the last time I was watching TV, do I have to use the Sonos app to switch from music to TV, then turn off speech enhancement, and then switch back to music? Or, are speech enhancement and Night Sound automatically disabled when listening to music?
So.. My Sonos Move ran out of juice. A typical situation, no doubt. It showed in the Android App as offline. I tapped it a few times (don’t know why, I guess I was a bit trigger happy) and it disappeared from the list of devices. I put it to charger base. It didn’t reappear. I tried reset + add new device, for very 1/5th of a second it finds Sonos Move, but then that window goes away and the app keeps searching for a device. Hmm I wonder, reboot the phone, same continues. I can’t add it, I can’t reset & add it. I go look from the Windows Desktop app. Well - in there, I can see it. I can control it. I can’t control it via Alexa tho. Sent diagnostics reports, mobile n667243110, desktop n16643197.
Hello,I have built my sonos system over the years and loved that I could link the rooms, I have older 2 x ZP120, 1 x connect, 5 x play 1, 5 x connect amp…….. is it possible to run it all on the older software and older app and have on the same system, lately it keeps telling me items are incompatible and open S1 or open S2. I’m not bothered if I have to run on the older version of the app but don’t want two systems really as I often use the line in to play vinyl music through the house.
I guys,I can i play the music in my PC library in Sonos when my PC is turned off?I receive the message that Sonos can’t connect to my PC .Is there anyway to save the musics in Sonos app and don’t need to turn on my PC?Best regards
Is it possible to stream from a Bluetooth device, like a Turntable, to a Sonos Arc?The specs mention it having Bluetooth LE but, I’m not sure if that is just for apps on phones etc., to use. TIA
