If you want to play music from your computer through the sonos speaker you can simply use the free software SonoAir: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThQiw_UTYr8

Hi jgatie, I am bringing a solution here, it is not spam. You can try it and you will see it works. I am using it and I am really happy with it.

No, hyping third party software is the very definition of spam. Dredging up years old dead threads to hype third party software makes it annoying spam.

I know this is old, but I found a way to do this. Right-click the MP3 file, Cast To Device, and choose the Sonos speaker. You can then attach other speakers and control playback in the normal Sonos way.

Just to add a bit to this, if your Sonos speaker isn't available when you Cast to Device (mine wasn't), you need to right-click and choose Give access to. After doing that, I was able to use the Cast to Device function.
