I have 2 HomePod minis, 2 Sonos Ones, a roam and several Airplay2 TVs. When I start playing on multiple speakers through iOS control center only the Roam will skip. It shouldn’t be WiFi interference because if I use the Sonos app to add the Roam it won’t skip.
Understand this issue has been noted a lot on here but did not run into my specific issue. I had eero mesh system (3 pack) plus my Sonos set up (3 Play:1, 1 Play:5, 1 Beam with 2 One’s as surround, 1 Move, and 1 Roam) which worked fine. Recently we added the Ring alarm system with the built in eero, essentially replacing the main gateway with the Ring gateway. Since then, we continue to have issues with sound dropping. None of my Sonos are plugged in to use the Sonos Net; tried this before but b/c of our old house, the Sonos Net ends up being worse. Any thoughts on why this is being caused? Every other system works great but our Hue lights sometimes act up. Both Sonos and Hue worked great before we added the Ring system on the eero. Thanks!
Hi! I’m working on a third-party integration with Sonos. It’s unclear what’s the X-Sonos-Corr-Id HTTP header. I tried googling for it, but found just a couple of mentions at stackoverflow. Could you please clarify:What module or system sends this header? When can I expect this header? What’s the purpose of it? Do we required to handle it in some way? Thanks in advance!
Recently my connect amp would power up for a second then the light would go dark. Opened up a ticket and they came up with a “power failure”. The call center said I will need to replace my “old” unit for a new AMP. The cost will be $459! I paid $500+ for the Connect AMP in 2016 and didn't power it up until April 2017 when we moved into the house. Where is the reliability? There is no servicing of the Connect AMP???There are no authorized service center’s for these units. This seems super shady! This is the kind of shady tactics State’s Attourney Generals like to know about. I have no less than 8 Sonos units in our home. Heck, the Play 3 we purchased back on 2011 and it still going!
Bonjour, je viens de faire l’acquisition d’une sonos one d’occasion que j’ai intégré à mon réseau (arc + sub, ainsi que 4 sonos one à différents endroits de ma maison). Mon système a toujours bien fonctionné historiquement.
I recently had to change my main email address and so changed it in my Sonos account. This automatically changed it for the community login as well but I have lost all my community topic history.Does anyone know how I can get it back….? Logging in with the old email no longer works...🙁
This has been going on ever since the Sonos app updated about 3wks ago. My system has not changed. Everything worked fine and now it doesn’t. I have tried Sonos Tech Support and they have been infinitely frustrating. The Issue: I play my records, sometimes it plays audio, but most of the time it doesn’t. I hit stop then play on app then audio plays through Arc only then it quits playing and spits/sputters audio randomly. Then I unplug everything for 1min, wait for everything to reconnect and audio works fine until I the next time I want to play my records. My System:2 - One SLArcSub Gen 3PortU-Turn Orbit TurntableU-Turn Pluto PreampGoogle Nest Wifi RouterNetgear Nighthawk CM1100 ModemInfinity 300Mbps internet service. The Google Nest Wifi router is ethernet cable connected to the Arc.Port Source level is Level 2Line Out Level is VariableAutoplay is set up for my TV Room with has the SLs/Arc/Sub; Autoplay Volume is at 38%Audio Compression is UncompressedEverything worked perfectly until t
So yet again today I cannot see my playlists. Even tried my Android phone, which used to see them. This bug must be 6months old at least and we’ve had at least three updates but still it’s there.
Hi how can I change my username for the community forum?
We bought the FIVE + Pro-Ject T1 SB package, but the packaging on the turntable was poor. Didn’t realise it came from a separate company. Counter balance was loose and damaged the arm. Have sent back for refund as couldn’t get an exchange - to Poland!! Shame no UK return address. Anyone had similar issues? Am I safe to buy another one? ...in contrast, the packaging on the FIVE was the best I’ve ever seen!! 😄
I have multiple podcasts saved in My Sonos from TuneIn. In recent days, I find I am unable to begin those podcasts on my Sonos speakers from an iOS device (iPhone or iPad). I CAN begin them from my Mac, however. Also, if I begin a podcast from the Mac, I am able to add one of the podcasts from My Sonos to the queue using an iOS device and those play fine in turn. Music streams from my Mac well with an occasional dropout. My Mac and iOS devices are up-to-date with their soft/firmware. My Sonos speakers (three OneSLs and four Play:1s) are also up to date. (However, I suspect the problems appeared after the latest Sonos updates.) It doesn’t matter whether I connect my speakers directly to my Wi-Fi or use SonosNet, the problem is identical. This setup has worked well for me for three years.I have talked with the kind people at Sonos on the phone, but to no avail. Your suggestions are most welcome.
Hi AllI've been having some issues with my Sonos network. By manually selecting my WiFi channel (1,6 or 11), I can get the system working perfectly. However, after a while of working fine, one or more of the speakers will disappear from the app and can't be found. By manually changing my WiFi channel again to a different channel, the system reappears in full (without the need to do any reboots, reinstalls etc.). It's frustrating as I can't find a permanent fix. Any help gratefully received!Thank you.
Folks,Third attempt to “re-discover” a missing room. It happens to be my “tv room” that worked beautifully for years. My 75” QLED is connected to my SONOS playbar … my playbar is paired to my Gen 1 SUB that is paired to both surround Gen 2 Play 5’s. I talked to 3 different Sonos Customer Care folks on 3 different occasions and they suggested 3 different “work around” fixes. None of them worked. This most recent one - probably the most frustrating one ended the call by instructing me to call my router provider to ask them to remove all “access points”. Are you kidding me.? I then have to call Sonos back to then readdress the problem… more system diagnostics. It’s been 3 weeks now that due to a Sonos Update that has rendered my System… Expensive system as well - USELESS. If there are SONOS folks reading this… this most recent case number is 03897942 that once again… for the third time was unable to resolve the issue. ANd quite frankly speaking to 3 different people providing me with 3 di
My Sonos just stopped working. I can’t control the sound on the tv with the TV remote anymore or control the sonos from my app. The system was installed in late 2017. I have 3 sonos boxes and 1 has a solid green light, the other 2 are solid white. what do I need to do?
TV is eARC compatible. Samsung QN95A If i set my TV to PCM I -get 2-channel stereo sound only. If i set it to Through-Put, Audio is out of tune, about half an octave lower than what it’s supposed to sound like and the surround SL speakers are extremely choppy. Dolby Atmos content and 5.1 content works fine on Netflix but I can’t get it to work with my Nintendo Switch. Switch outputs LPCM 5.1. Isn’t that supposed to work fine with the Sonos system? I would love to hear from any Sonos and Switch owners that use these products in combination with 5.1 working surround.
Hello. I believe this problem has been happening for a while, but after moving to a new place, it seems to be happening much more often, constantly. My Playbar and Play:1 speakers are all connected via wifi to my home network, which uses eero mesh.My diagnostic confirmation number is 1020397049.Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
I spend about an hour every time I want to use my system consisting of two speakers and a subwoofer. Still I end up using my little Bose portable speaker to entertain my guests.Either “no system found” or “system not configured” or only one speaker works at all - or everything drops again after 5 minutes. I went to the dealer who told me that he “never heard of any issues” and it would be related to my WiFi. I got a 300Mbps network with an expensive Netgear router. My alarm, intercom, TV, and all other systems I use work perfectly but not that crap system of Sonos. I regret I spent so much money on this system. At least I’m a good laugh for my guests when I tell them how much I paid for this.
I have two sonos one speakers grouped together, one downstairs and one upstairs. The one downstairs was dropping out every now & again which was really starting to get on my nerves. I put up with it for a while but eventually enough was enough. I thought you spend all this money for a high end system & it don't work as it should.Luckily my bro in-law is a I.T technology installer & when he visited I asked him to dive deep, alot deeper than i ever dare to go in my settings & set up.He did find that something was not quite right when he ran some tests. We tried a few different things, settings within my wifi router which didn't really make a huge difference. Also resetting the speakers from scratch.Long story short through trial & error we found that the energy smart meter box that tells you what gas & electric your consuming was the culprit. (Too close maybe)We unplugged it & powered the unit off, hey presto the speaker is now stable & working perfectly. My
My sound keeps going in and out on my Samsung tv. I turned any net off on the tv and the internal sound works fine. If I turn any net back on. The situation is the same… sound going in and out. I have unplugged everything multiple times and still not fixed. Please help!
Bonjour! Merci d’avance, Tobias
Hi, I've changed the password of my Wifi after which I can't connect playbase anymore with WIFI. Used ethernet cable, updated, but the app can not find the device. When I unplug and replug it, hodling the play button it does not flash orange. Only when I let it go and press it agian. It does not go back to factory settings as far as I can see.Now i'm reading these threads and see all playbases are being replaced. Is this a hardware fault, how can a update result in replacing all hardware (just a question from my side).I'll run diagnostics tonight and send the code.
I’ve been listening to channel 793 Court TV on Sirius through Sonos and today it says channel is no longer available. On their channel lineup it goes from 792 to 794. I know this is a Sirius issue but their customer service is awful. Does anyone know what is going on please? Thank you.
I recently helped a friend setup a Roam, 2 Sonos One’s and a Move. When we group and want to change the volume for an individual speaker it changes the volume for two of the 4 speakers. For example when I change the volume for the Roam the volume changes for the Roam as well as one of the One speakers. There are no pairs setup. Only happens when in a group. Please note I am aware of group volume and can individually change the volume for each room separately but when I do two rooms volume changes.
I bought a Sonos play 5 several years ago. A year later I bought a Sonos Play 3. Then a Sonos Play 1. The bridge I initially bought was damaged, which is why I bought a Sonos 1 about 2 years ago that I use in another room and it served as a bridge. Even though this is version s2, everything worked perfectly even though the Sonos play 5 is not compatible, using the Sonos s1 app. the problems started 2 weeks ago when i decided to buy the sonos roam. I had to remove the Sonos 5 from the s1 app to get it to work. Now the Sonos play 5 is unusable. I can't reinstall it on the Sonos s1 app. but besides that now this app doesn't work and it sends me to app s2, so play 1, play 3 and Sonos 1 don't work either, and they are not detected in app s2. So now I only have the Sonos roam and 4 speakers that don't work. In addition to the above, for several years Sonos has allowed the use of a voice assistant but in Colombia it is not possible, although it is not a problem with Alexa (have an ec
