I have a Amp connected to ethernet and and Sonos One connected in another room and was able to get them both showing up in app for a period. I had some issues and reset the amp twice but have an issue now where I can see the amp only on my laptop and the One on my other devices. I can’t seem to get them both to appear together and can’t see them on the same device ever. I have one wifi network and they’re all connected to the same network, the sonos both work as expected with the light indicators (solid white). Any ideas whats going on? I should be able to see the system even if someone else is playing music on them, correct? So it’s not an issue of having someone playing music I would assume. Thank you!
Bonjour, j’ai mon Play 5 de première génération qui perd la connexion en wifi mais fonctionne bien en câble. J’ai déjà échangé le routeur mais toujours le même problème ?? Que puis je faire? Merci d’avance
Hi there, I’ve just changed routers and cannot find my S1. I have been through the questions on the app (did you change router etc) but it just says “cannot find Sonos system on this account”. I have tried Sonos online chat to reboot the speaker and the router still with no success. is there anything else that I could try or do I need to do a factory reset? Many thanks
Hi, Sonos Radio channels won’t play and constantly give error message that the radio service isn’t available for playback. I’ve re-authorised the radio service but this doesn’t resolve the issue. Hope you can help.
HI, I have several speakers + Sonos Boost, and my home wifi consists of 1 router and 3 BT wifi extender discs. If I plug the Boost into the main rooter the speakers furthest away from the Boost drop out too regularly to make this viable. If I plug the Boost into one of the Wifi extender discs then the system works fine for about 3 months but, after this, then the extender with the Boost plugged into it starts to need resetting before Sonos works. At first, this happens quite infrequently but eventually it starts to happen every few minutes until I move the Boost to another disc. I’ve now run out of dics! I’ve tried both BT’s and Sono’s technical support without success. Can anyone recommend a fix which either would allow me to run the Boost through my main router (with all the speakers working) or stops the Boost resetting the Wifi discs? Many thanks in advance.
Hey Folks. Wonder if anyone can help.I restarted / turned off my router a few days while I was away, and since I came back and turned it back on, Sonos isn’t found ‘We can’t connect’ to the desktop app. But works perfectly on android on my mobile app. This doesn’t make much sense to me.
Hi, The past week I spent 2 hour with great customer care of Sonos to reconfigure my system on the new mesh network with eero system. Eero does not allow to split between 2.4 and 5 gHz. After 1 day the configuration seems lost and i cannot see the devices in the app while I'm connected to eero. Instead I can see them if I switch back to the old wifi network. Pls halo to fix!
I have a Sonosconnect wired to an amp and speakers, but the volume is very low, even when set to max on both the amp and Sonos amp. The amp / speakers work fine with other source inputs (eg TV).
good evening, I have a sonos zp 120 and when I turn the volume to maximum or close to maximum, the yellow LED stops and lights up, and then I have to press the mute button to restart, I mention that I have 8 ohm speakers. is it broken or can something be done? thanks
Yes, I have read all of these forums. Yes, I am tired of trying to fix this. I have changed the channel on my wifi and sonosNet. I have unplugged everything and reset everything a millions times over with different channels, different router settings, device settings and everything. NOTHING seems to be fixing this error for me. I am considering taking these back and just getting a refund. They worked great for a week and suddenly just stopped working without any apparent reason. This is a defect. Is there any last thing I can do before I take these back? I am not looking forward to getting in-store credit for these. Note: House full of new Gen 3 Sonos equipment.
Hi Last weekend I followed the recommended steps to separate my system with the S1 app controlling my older components and the S2 app controlling the new ones. It worked really well for a couple of days until the S1 controller stopped finding my older components and only finding the new ones and saying “connect to Sonos” and asking me to update to S2. Its very frustrating.I have reset the S1 App and reconnected all the components again having done a factory reset on all of them several times now but the same thing happens. One of my components, the Connect, is also connected via an Ethernet. There seems to be no issue with the internet service as the S2 app and new components work fine.any ideas on what else I can try?
I experience constant fall out every 1 minute for 3-7 seconds on all streamed channels in Sonos library, EXCEPT national channel DR and it’s local stations. Anybody can help?
past 2 days, 6am yesterday and 7:30am today, my sonos patio speaker starts playing at random. All my apps are closed, there are not alarms set to the system. This has happened randomly in the past, can’t figure out how to fix it. Please help
I changed routers but trying to get my speakers onto the new network has proven to be a disaster. How can I totally start my sonos system set up as if I had just received all my components? Delete system and rebuild system.
Hello,My Sonos Connect is part of S2. Since about 3 weeks when streaming Pandora it reboots dropping the connection or looses the group with a pair of Sonos SL. That can happen after two hours, one hour, or earlier. The white light on the front will lit and flash. In addition I had created a group in Alexa. At the beginning it worked fine but mow mostly Alexa is not listening ? Could it be a hardware defect of the Connect ?
Hello, i have one Sonos Five that is approx one year.it is not working and the led is pulsating whiteand no matter what i have done changes this. i have tried :power it off/on with a minute pause in betweenand still same and not visible in app nor searchabletested with and without ethernet cable with above actions. No luck. in the end i did bite the bullet and tried factory reset even if it is not adviced by Sonos rep but as this was my last resort, i gave it a go. No luck. It does not respond to the procedure ( power off → power on with connect button pressed for 5/10/15/30 secs ( yes i have tried multiple times)) so i am at a loss. Warranty case or can / is there any other procedure to test? Or an even harder factory reset method? br, Lennart
I have a Sonos Arc, Sub 3 and Two Sonos One Surrounds connected to my Sony TV through the optical cable. I keep getting a clicking sound in the rear right surround speaker every time whatever I am watching switches to another view, e.g.:when a newsreader switches over to a reporter - click; same when it reverts backwhen a programme goes to advert - click - then the same backIt doesn’t matter if I’m watching terrestrial tv or SKy tv.I have updated software, disconnected, re-connected, switched on and off, rebooted router, etc. I have even swapped the rear right surround with the Sonos One from my bedroom and yet still the problem prevails. It’s really very distracting and I’m listening out for it now. Please can anyone help?Thank you, in anticipation. Mike
Here we go again. The dreaded Unable to play selected item error has popped up on 2/13/21, Sonos app seem able to browse the SiriusXM catalog, and show playing title names, but no matter the station you select it does not connect and presents the error. SiriusXM plays fine through its native app. I’ve done the obligatory delete and re-add the service to Sonos, but that doesn’t change the issue. Status.sonos.com shows that SiriusXM is ok, but it certainly is not. Other streaming services including Sonos’ own services continue to stream fine.I hope somebody at Sonos is watching and will look into this. This whole structure where streaming services have to pipe their content through, and maintain, a connection with Sonos is aggravating.Diagnostic 1463009795
Hello all. My Sonos One speaker is only 9 months old. I have a continuous red light displaying on the speaker. I'm unable to connect to it, unable to reboot and also unable to factory reset. Even holding down the 'infinity' button after power off does nothing. I'm unable to do anything with it. Has anyone got any ideas?
HiLate last year I added two Sonos One SL to my system. All has gone well, except now, 5 months down the line the one SL speaker stops and starts working at intervals. If playing music can hear the other speakers working but this one is just not. It’s now becoming an irritation.I’ve gone through all the trouble shooting on the Sonos website and none of this apply. I contacted Sonos via the bot today as their lines are busy, the bot stated it has no knowledge of a Sonos One SL not working. It’s still under warranty, but has been suggested that I seek assistance from the community. Many thanks
I have connected my new beam to my 49” Panasonic TV via the optic connection as there no HDMI ARC socket. Installation followed instructions from Sonos website using my phone. All went well except that sound from the TV has an echo . ( I had muted the TV audio). TV sound is so inferior to that of TV speakers that we are considering returning the Beam. Any suggestions welcome.
So I’ve searched the forums and haven’t found a solution for the issue I’m experiencing. When I start playing a source with different rooms groups, I will hear the source play from one room, but not others, then it will cut out, then it will start up again maybe 20 seconds later, but another room will still not be playing. 10 seconds later all rooms will be playing as normal. The whole time, everything looks normal via the Sonos app. I’ve tried many different methods of fixing this “delay” from hardwiring all speakers (thank goodness I live alone, the CAT6 spaghetti drove even me nuts), I’ve used different sources from Pandora to a line-in turntable, I’ve put all Sonos devices on their own VLAN with favorable QoS. None of those things workedNo matter what, I still have this issue of starting a source playback at different rooms seem to start/stop randomly for about 30-60 seconds until they “settle in” to normal playback. Happens every time, no matter the source, cloud or physical. I will
My system was fine but then I got a message about updating my OSX controller app and now it can’t connect to my Sonos system. The update failed, then worked then ??? I tried a few things, including re-downloading the controller from the Sonos website. My system still works through my iPhone but the OSX app can’t connect to my system despite me trying a bunch of things.I have a suspicion that it might have to do with the fact that my Sonos system is on version 11.2.6 (based on system information in the iOS app) but you can only download 11.2.4 from the Sonos website. Can you get OSX controller version 11.2.6 from somewhere? Are Sonos just slow in updating their website? Am I barking up the wrong tree here?
I have Deezer set up as my streaming service in the sonos app (S2).When searching for a podcast that I can clearly find on deezer on the S2 app, I can’t find anything….Seems like something went wrong there...
Please help us fix our system! We have 3 Play:1, 1 Play:3, and a Move. The play:3 has been having issues staying continuously connected for a couple months now. It was setup on a completely wireless system, but since then I hard wired the play:3 directly to the main network switch about a month ago. The play:3 continues to disconnect when playing and can at times be hard to bring into a group of speakers or just to get it to play at all. Today, the move also started cutting out. Nothing has changed on the network. TuneIn, Spotify, Local Music The behavior is always the same. I can recreate it by playing music - it happens at random, but reasonably frequently. Generally music stops playing for 1-3 seconds at least once each 5-10 minutes. Diagnostic number is 1649784927
