In my small living room I currently have a beam gen 1, two play5’s and a gen 2 sub. In another room I have two era300. Would it be sensible to swap the 5’s for the era’s or is it best to leave as is. Was also wondering if it would be worth upgrading the beam to the latest version. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am posting this after checking all the other posts related to this issue. After my speakers updated from S1 to S2, I was able to add the Music Library, but a lot of folders and tracks are randomly missing. I repeated this step at least three times with the exact same results. All files should be compatible and my library is under the maximum allowed limit. Please note that the main reason I had downgraded all my speakers to S1 was that none of these issues were present in S1. And I do not have time to become a test person for the SONOS technicians again, as it was the case years ago. Problem is, downgrading the speakers and adding the S1 system again is also a very lengthy process… Any solutions anywhere, after all these years?? Thanks.

Why do my Move2 not work like my erra 300 surrounds. I get a lot of dialog that should come from the center through the Move2 pair. I’m using E Arc and Atmos. My other system of the arc ultra, sub 4 and rear erra 300 works perfect.

I received a Sonos Move 2 for Christmas, and unfortunately it has been one of the most frustrating technology purchases I have made.Let me be clear: the hardware is beautiful. The design is excellent, it looks fantastic and the sound quality is very good. If I were reviewing the physical speaker alone, I would have very little criticism. The problem is everything that is supposed to make the speaker work. The Sonos app is unreliable and buggy. I regularly have problems connecting to the Move 2, and I have experienced problems with both Spotify and Apple Music. Trying to play music that is already in my Apple Music library, rather than music streamed directly from a service, has been particularly frustrating.I have spent an extraordinary amount of time trying to connect the speaker, get the app to recognise it and get music playing. On several occasions I have had to effectively factory reset the speaker to get it working again. I spend almost as much time trying to get the Move 2 working

Hi,  my Beam Ultra is on the way,  I currently have the Beam gen 1,  along with surrounds and Sun Mini,  do I need to remove the surrounds/Sub or is it ok just to unplug my old Beam then add the Ultra to 'existing set up'. Don't really want to do a complete fresh set up

Like the title says, I have “Feel Good Piano” saved in my Spotify library. I don't have “Gentle Classical Piano Mix” saved in my Spotify library. But despite telling it to “play Feel Good Piano”, it will always play Gentle Classical Piano Mix”, on Spotify no matter how specific (or a-specific) I make the command. The only way to get it to obey is to tack on “on Spotify” at the end of my command. Which makes no sense, since both playlists are on Spotify. And no, neither playlist is in my Sonos favorites or anything.

Hi, I really hope anyone can help here, im going crazy soon :D I am having a persistent Wi-Fi problem with standalone Sonos One HAY speakers in my kitchen. I have tested two identical speakers in the same location, and the problem appears to follow the kitchen location rather than the individual speaker. My Sonos system consists of: Sonos Beam Gen 2 in the lounge Two Sonos One SL speakers used as wireless surrounds Sonos Sub in Lounge Sonos Amp in the dining room - connected to analog sounds system Two identical standalone Sonos One HAY speakers, normally used in the kitchen and bedroom Network setup: TP-Link Deco XE75 Only one Deco unit is currently in use, so the speakers are not roaming between different mesh access points One combined SSID for 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz 160 MHz enabled for 5 GHz All Sonos devices are assigned to the 2.4 GHz band in the Deco app, as recommended Mesh roaming is disabled for all Sonos devices The kitchen speaker is approximately 2–3 metres fr

I see a thread from two years ago regarding adding a mic mute feature for the Ace during phone/teams/zoom calls. Is this feature in the works? That's definitely a requirement for anyone taking or placing calls on the Ace or Ace Ultra.

I have a sonos system, two sound bars, a number of Roams, one of which stays plugged in, and 5 or so Symfonsk from Ikea speakers.here lately, when I open the app, it will only show the source that I last used, if the tvs are on they don’t show up until I delete the app from my apple device and reinstall it!  any ideas why?

Hi everyone.I have made this below document on basis of my own experience. I found a solution for a lot of issues, like speakers for computers, TV speakers, and integration with wireless devices. Kindly have a look at this document and give me your thoughts.https://www.icloud.com/pages/0bedGi_eXiHO5ZflXrcD6HXJg All the best Sam.

This might be useful for all brands using Google TV. It’s been a lifesaver for me.. I just changed from a Samsung TV to a new TCL - both have Bluetooth remotes, but the Samsung one rather smartly sends volume up and down over IR which allows you to control the Sonos from one remote.. Sadly the TCL remote in Bluetooth mode does not, furthermore the TCL remote in IR mode doesn’t work well with Sonos learning. I have the perfect solution! Using Homeassistant (which I run on a Raspberry Pi). A simple automation to look for state or volume changes from the TCL TV using the Android Remote integration and relaying the volume to the Sonos Playbar using the Sonos integration. Works like a charm! I hope that helps people out there with Google TVs, Bluetooth remotes and Playbars wanting to use just one remote seamlessly.

If you haven’t discovered this….Touching the screen with two fingers and rotating them reveals a “Slick” volume control as shown in the pics below. The second pic shows it working in “Group” mode!

Could use a little help with this.  I’m about to purchase a new system (previous burned in Eaton Fire).  Our temporary home poses some unique challenges as it’s wide open making TV viewing surrounds difficult to place. I’m about to purchase an Arc Ultra and thinking of adding 300s but given location of seating (red arrows) I’m unsure of placements? behind camera is kitchen and dining room so wide open.  WFH desk is to the left. I use two One’s and a sub mini for music while at desk (positioned to either side of the glass doors).  I’m baffled as to setting up for TV viewing in this house. TIA 🤷🏻🤦‍♂️

I made a post about this about a month back when the pre-orders went live that my blue light discount was accepted but not applied and someone told me coupons were not normally added to pre-orders but I've tried it again these last couple of days now that the official release date has been reached and it seems there's still no discount to be had.... and as I've said previously I never had this issue before when purchasing the Arc Ultra ultimate set. Has anyone else managed to get a coupon to work?

Are there any plans for increasing account security and adding mfa to authentication?

Anyone having issues with Soundcloud since yesterday (25th Sep). Tracks not playing first time, sonos cycling through playlist, then randomly playing a track from the playlist. Have now tried removing Soundcloud and adding it back - been getting a Something went wrong Check Your internet connection and try again’. Occasionally it gives me a code to verify with my soundcloud login but immediately goes back to the Something went wrong message. Sonos Status is showing Soundcloud is still active ie nothing wrong their side with the connection.

Hi community,I used to be able to play my whole music library through SONOS - however, this is no longer working and I cannot reconnect to the library - I get various error messages. I have tried the connection methods suggested online but to no avail.  Any ideas?

Hi there. The docs state that only gen 2 of the Symfonisk bookshelf will work with the new Beam Ultra. I have 2 of the gen 1s, and not gen 2. Does anyone know if this is a permanent situation? Will it filter down to gen 1? Otherwise I’ll need to replace my surrounds if I upgrade to the Beam Ultra.

I want to give a shout out to the Sonos engineering team for FINALLY moving the EQ settings to a spot that requires only one click instead of going into a deep dive into the system settings every time you wanna make a simple adjustment to bass or treble!  I suggested this more than a year ago.   I also like that new app version allows you to change the volume incrementally using the plus and minus icons and how it switches between volume and EQ settings, depending on where you click. Very good design.

Desktop OS - Windows 8.1I am setting this up for someone else (so a different Sonos account to mine), 2any help is appreciatedSpotify connects fine within the app (Android and Apple)I have made sure the Sonos app and Spotify are pointing to the same region This is the error message

When will this new version of Sonos Voice Control be available and how do I set it up if I currently have the normal Sonos Voice on my speakers?

SummaryNew Sonos Play (S58) units ship on firmware 94.1-71219-manufacturing. When added to an existing household running 97.1-80312, the new unit is placed in the household's QuarantinedDevices list with QuarantineReason="upnpovertls" (Configuration="0", SecureRegState="0"). The app shows "Play is not registered", and setup cannot complete.Symptoms• The app shows "Play is not registered".• Fix It loops: asks for a reboot, then after opening the app it asks for a reboot again. After a reset it again spends a few minutes "connecting to WiFi", then reports the speaker was set up but "might not be working properly". It stays unregistered.• Check for updates reports no updates available, because the quarantined unit is notpart of the system.• Rebooting and factory resetting the speaker do not help.ReproductionThis happened with two Plays on consecutive days: Unit MAC First seen on network Resolved Play 1 80:4A:F2:B6:68:66 2026-09-29 20:23 CES
