How do I delete one of the living room zones?

These are my personal opinions. The Ace Ultra is a definite upgrade over the original Ace with a few stipulations. The overall sound and some other features are improved; but not to a point that the original Ace is a throw-away. ANCBetter; however, I still prefer my Apple AirPods Pro 3. There’s a logical reason why I pick the Apple AirPods Pro 3…which is in-ear (Apple) vs over-the-ear (Ace Utlra). The former provides a tighter seal as one would expect. Finally, I wear glasses which works against the Ace Ultra providing the same tight seal as my AirPods Pro 3. That said, the average non-eye glass wearer should find the ANC on the Ace Ultra comparable to other high-end ANC headsets; if not slightly better.Transparency/Aware modesUnchanged.TV Audio SwapHandled in much the same manner as does the original Ace. So basically, un-remarkable.Spatial AudioReproduction is excellent and better than the original Ace. I used the scene in movie Sinners where music from past, present and future are me

Something has clearly changed in the Amazon Music → Sonos integration in the past 2 months, and it’s breaking the way many of us use Sonos.I have multiple Amazon Music playlists with 500+ songs. For years, Sonos handled them without any issue: Sonos S1 loaded full playlists. Sonos S2 loaded full playlists. The Sonos Windows app could load all 500+ tracks, even when mobile apps had limits. Now, suddenly: S1 loads only 300 tracks. S2 loads only 225 tracks. Anything beyond that simply disappears from the queue. The Windows app no longer bypasses the limit. This is not an Amazon Music problem — the playlists are complete and playable everywhere except Sonos. It’s not a device problem — it happens across S1, S2, and Windows. It’s not a user error — I’ve tested multiple playlists, multiple accounts, multiple devices.I’ve contacted Amazon support. No solution. I’ve tried third‑party apps. No solution. I’ve searched the forum. Only scattered complaints, but clearly the issue is new a

Good morning. I’d like to ask if you happen to be working on an outdoor model—similar to the Five—that simply needs to be plugged into a power outlet and can use the home Wi-Fi network (perhaps boosted by a mesh system). Thanks.

I have a Play5 in a 3x5m room and would like to add another speaker. Is the obvious choice another 5 or would that be overkill in a small room? Thanks

I love that I can use my Roku TV remote for the connected Arc soundbar to turn up/down volume or mute, but why are those the only 3 buttons mapped to use? I get that fwd/back buttons for next/prev playlist track skipping might not be as straightforward as it seems due to variations in TV remotes, but play button is pretty ubiquitous and it feels like a no brainer that it should be mapped to pause/resume playing music alongside existing volume controls.

I have an older Sonos system that uses the S1 app but I cannot log into the S1 app despite being able to log into the S2 app (which tells me is incompatible with my system) as well as the sonos website. I have my Playbar and one of my Play:1 external speakers both connected from the initial setup when I first got the system but the S1 app does not allow me to log in to “access more features” such as reconnecting my other Play:1 external speaker which has been disconnected for some time now and nothing seems to allow it to reconnect other than the S1 app.

I have a Beam Gen 2 connected to a Sony BRAVIA XR-48A90K. About 90% of the time when I turn the TV on it does not detect the Beam and reverts back to the built-in speakers. If I go into the TV settings and change the output to Audio System it starts working. Is there something I can do so the TV reliably detects the Beam when I turn it on?

I have the arc ultra soundbar positioned as recommended by Sonos in front of tv to the correct measurements.I find that the volume level constantly drops while watching certain programmes especially music programmes where either the vocal or soundtrack is lower and the balance never seems right.i have tried various settings and I can’t find a good balance.the hdmi lead connects to the e arc port and the tv is an lg55 ultra hd model which is about 5 years old.i have tried tru play and adjusting the eq settings but to no avail.any advice would be welcome.

System worked until router replaced/upgraded now cannot use alexa - access my personnel music or radio stations - re booted sonos and alexa - doesn't always recognise anything - have also rebooted router several times - router is accepted and works with tv - tablet - phones etc -- really at a loose as to what next - did think about cancelling sonos and alexa and re joining but fear they may not accept as email seen as already on record -- does any one have some advice please

I’m thinking of buying a cinema sound sofa which runs of blue tooth. Will my Sonos still work if I Bluetooth my tv to my sofa?

I want to use my Beam Ultra with my PC. The PC has an optical out (using the Sonos adaptor), but only seems to work with PCM stereo. When playing surround  from Plex I get no sound. This seems to be a Realtek problem.I am trying to work around this while also using more of the Beam Ultra’s capabilities. The PC has an HDMI out, so I am thinking the FeinTech AX310 could help connect the PC to the Beam Ultra since it would provide eARC to the Beam Ultra. Would I be right in thinking this? Are there other options?

Yesterday the Room I was playing to was at an extremely loud volume.  Fortunately I had Volume Limit set low enough to avoid speaker damage.  The solution was to turn OFF Live Activities in the app and on the controller device, in this case IOS.  It's too easy for me to accidentally press down on the volume up button when I'm grabbing the iPhone. In the app I went to Account-App Preferences-Live Activity.  Turned it OFF.  This alone does not necessarily disable side button volume control on the iPhone.  I had to also go to iPhone Settings-Apps-Sonos-Live Activities-Allow Live Activities turned that OFF.Update:  Airplay is still connecting to Sonos.  Working on disabling this.

I have an Arc, Sub Mini and Era 300 pair in my living room, and sometimes when I’m playing music through the Sonos app, it would be really great to throw something on the TV for visuals, but if I turn on the TV it will stop playing music and take control of the soundbar to output TV audio. Is there I way to temporarily ignore that, as if I had unplugged the HDMI cable? or if not can that please be a feature request?

I’ve just bought an Apple Watch and am testing the Lyd for Sonos software which works on the watch whilst I am still in the 14 day trial period. I find when I search for an artist or music I have in my Music Library the Lyd watch software is returning no results in my Music Library. Music is indexed and resides on my NAS wired directly to my router. All and any ideas to resolve gratefully received!

There is a small issue with the ACE ULTRA I just received. It’s up to date to begin with (latest firmware). When I listen to music using USB C on my Mac, when I take off the headset to put on the table, the music does not stop. When I put it back on my head, the music is paused.Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Maybe someone can share some insight on this..my house has Sonos in every room. Two rooms each have a Sony tv, Arc, sub, and two one SL’s. One of the Sony TV’s stopped showing the volume level on the screen. It was working but now does not.  Remote works as well as the Sonos app fine..just no level indication except on the Sonos app. The other Sony tv shows the volume level and as the other , both remote and app work…but shows volume level o the screen. Both TV’s have same settings as well as the settings for the Arc’s. Ive reset the tv and I’ve searched high and low with really no clear answers. Just throwing this out there to see if anyone might why it stopped.

Often when I use Spotify and try to use Sonos to send the music to multiple speakers, it doesn’t work. Why is this? I can send the Spotify music to the Sonos speakers using AirDrop or use a separate Bluetooth speaker with no problem but when I try to use Sonos to group rooms, I get nothing.

I updated my SONOS App on Wednesday.  It had obliterate my library. Here is the version I am running. Sonos OS: S2Version: 17.2.6 (build 86878270) I have tried re-adding and now get permission errors.  I had this same issue on February and spent hours on phone with SONOS support.  I ended up resolving issue on my own. I ma not having any luck this time.   Has anyone else experienced issues and what is resolution to correct permissions.  I have checked permissions and administrator, and everyone to set to Read/Write.  Sonos is added under Local Network with full disk access.

Hello all,At some point I uploaded my music library to what was Google Play Music, which was ported to YouTube Music because Ens***ification. Those thousands of songs are accessible within YouTube Music’s app on my Android, but when I try to access them to play on Sonos I see only the ‘A’ albums and a few ‘B’’s.Is this a known fault with bands of lab-coat-clad boffins hard at work on a fix? Thanks and happy weekend to those who observe.

To start…The Beam Ultra is an impressive upgrade over the Beam 2.Setup of the Beam Ultra is straight forward and very easy using the app (iOS_iPhone 17 Pro Max). No one should have difficulties unless their network is mis-configured or has been experiencing intermittent issues prior to installation. I upgraded from a Beam 2. Important note but hopefully most have TVs manufactured after 2012.The Beam Ultra is not compatible with CCFL-backlit TVs (manufactured 2004-2012)Read it under Tech Specs for Power and Connectivity. However, if your TV is an LED-backlit LCD with HDMI ARC the Beam Ultra will work. I connected my Beam Ultra to a 2010 Sony KDL-46HX800 that is LED-backlit LCD with HDMI ARC (soon to be replaced) 😂.Beam Ultra vs Arc UltraRoom Size (Feet/Meter):Length 25/7.62 Width 16/4.87 Height 8/2.44Sonos AccessoriesEra 300 surrounds Sub 4 x 2TuningAdvanced TruePlayVolume setting46 via the appTV size65 inch LGIMO the Beam Ultra does an excellent job with Dolby Atmos content. This is more of a feature request, but could Qobuz please be added to the list of searchable and controllable music services via the new MCP connection to AI models. This is a really great feature, but annoying that it doesn’t work with Qobuz.

Hey,Is there someone who found any floor stand for Sonos Play?I found only one product from the Dutch brand „Vebos“. Seems they only offer that product within the EU at the moment. If you switch language e. g. to US or UK you can’t find the product. https://vebos.eu/vebos-standfuss-sonos-play-schwarz.html?I think now that Sonos Play and Move2 can be used as surrounds a floor stand for these speakers could become more interesting as before. There’s a stand from Vebos on its way to me. I‘m curious how practical this solution is. So let me know if there are other floor stands for Sonos Play you found, or just please tell me how you place your portable speakers when using them as surrounds. Of course you’ll be fine, if there‘s some furniture behind you to put the speakers on. But that won’t be the case for everyone.

my patience is quickly running out. This happens almost daily.  What’s the solution?I am so frustrated with it. I’m close to sacking it off and replacing my entire system - and I have a lot of speakers across the house, which is pointless if the app doesn’t work!!!
