Best loudspeaker and Turntable

Hi, I’m thinking of connecting my turntable with Sonos loudspeakers . I could buy two ERA100 or one ERA300. What are the differences? The room is  fairly large (Height 3.2metres) with large windows?

And what about one Five? Is it overkilling? I’m mainly listening vocal rock and classical music (Turntable and Airplay).

As both Airplay and your TT line-in audio do not support Atmos audio and those two audio sources are your intended priority - I would perhaps go with two Era 100’s (stereo paired) rather than an Era 300, as you will not be using its height audio driver - plus two Era 100’s will give better separation for the stereo soundstage.

That’s probably better than a single Sonos Five - which would mostly just provide a narrower soundstage, but noticeable extra bass.

To get the best for the intended use, the Era 100 pair would get my money, but I would later go onto add a sub-mini to the setup a little further down the line.

In truth, I have this setup in my Kitchen/Diner and it sounds great for stereo music audio.

How do I know that my  turntable has enough preamp for the ERA100. My LP player is Dual CS 329.

The inputs are all line-level - you can increase/reduce the level (voltage) in the Sonos App. See this link for further information…
