Hi,

I have purchased a bluetooth transmitter & receiver: KN321 that i had planned to a to my mixer / turntables, but a cant seem to add the transmitter signal to my SONOS app.
I can fairly easily add the device in receiver mode on my iphones bluetooth connection, even receive the transmitter signal (in transmitter mode) from ie. my computer to a set of bluetooth headphones - but the app can’t seem to add the product / signal to my speaker system / sonos app.
What to do?

Best,

/M

The Sonos App is not a ‘player’ - it’s merely a ‘remote’ for Sonos products. The following speakers have a Bluetooth RX…

  • Move*/Move 2
  • Roam/Roam SL/Roam 2
  • Era 100
  • Era 300

So you can BT-pair your BT TX to play directly with those Sonos products, either ‘standalone’ or ‘grouped’. (*Note the Move gen1 does not support BT grouped playback).

To receive Sonos music/audio-out from the built-in Sonos services on your Bluetooth TX, you will need to link a ‘Sonos Port’ product’s line-out (digital or analog) to a corresponding line-in port on your KN321 BT device… but in truth you would be better bypassing the BT-TX/RX and just link the ‘Sonos Port’ direct to your mixer over a wired connection.

The easiest way would be to buy the Sonos five. Than Plug in Your turntable via aux.

Sonos is not designed for DJ, PA, live music or anything similar. The inherent input delay will drive you mad.
