Beam 2 dropping sound for short periods, with flashing white light

Recently my Beam 2 has been stopping playing sound and the white light on tops flashes for a short period, then it stops flashing and sound returns. It has been doing this daily for the past week.

I’ve checked all cable connections, source is an Apple TV and have used it’s Check HDMI connection feature which reports that “Your HDMI connection looks good”

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Greg

If that doesn’t do it wait for it to go out and come back, submit a diagnostic and ask Sonos support to look at it and see if there is anything in the internal logs we users can’t see.

You might be seeing power issues, the flashing white indicates a reboot is in progress.

Double check that the power cord is FULLY inserted, folks often only insert it part way and see similar issues.

It did it again last night, submitted diags and jumped onto chat, the support reckon it was due to me using a mesh network and the speaker jumping SSIDs. They’ve had me plug my Boost into the master Deco mesh node. I also noted an update to the Deco mesh system which I’ve applied.
