Alexa volume out of sync when using volume limit

I have Sonos One with Alexa set up, and see this issue:

  1. In Sonos App, go to Settings - System - <your speaker> - Volume Limit - set to 35%
  2. Say “Alexa, set volume to 2”. Alexa sets volume to 2, all good here.
  3. Say “Alexa, what’s the volume?”Alexa says: “Device is at volume 4”.

Can this inconsistency be fixed please?
