trouble with Sonos Port and app

Just recently got a Port because my Connects memory was “done and gone’.

Some trouble installing but now it works.
Right now I’m trying to understand why I can’t connect to Sonos via app (s2). It seems like a lottery, it works every third or fourth time.

Sometimes it’s saying that I still have my old connect in the system so “it get confused…”

I should say that when the app is connected everything works great!

So, what is the problem, why the connection problem?

Reset the app. When it restarts tell it to connect to an existing system.

Don’t worry about losing anything. The controller app stores nothing of significance.

Do you have any other Sonos devices? If so do they appear in the app okay?

No, there is just the Port. But it seems like the App still has my old connect in some memory… don’t know how to erase it. It’s not plugged in.

Thanks for your help. Now it’s working good every time I’ve logged in. Will look at all phones and tablets over the holiday.

thanx again!
