Hello

I can’t progress past the orange & white flashing light stage of a factory reset of my Play:1. When I attempt to add the speaker, although the set up procedure finds the Play:1 lets me add it to the temporary Sonos network, I get no ‘audio pin chime’ from anywhere, so I can’t progress. Any advice?

Kind regards

Connecting it directly to the router with an ethernet cable worked like a dream! I’m set up and ready to go, thanks all who contributed.

I’d call Sonos Support directly to discuss it, as that’s not a normal situation.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Sometimes, setup goes easier if the speaker is connected temporarily by Ethernet cable.
