13.3 Release Notes:We’ve improved Roam’s power management to help extend Roam’s battery life when it’s not actively being used. The Sonos app will now alert you when your Roam is connected to a charger that isn’t providing enough power to charge the battery. When your Roam is in sleep mode, you can now wake it up using the top playback buttons (in addition to the power button on the back). Two Roams in a stereo pair will now automatically rebond to each other if one of them unexpectedly disconnects from the network and then reconnects.https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3521?language=en_US

I have an S2 Sonos system of two ports and a connect and now with a roam on my network at home. The roam keeps disappearing off of the app and i have to power down and back on to get it back. Have spent some time now with sonos help and they tell me that I have to reconfigure my router and network to enable it to work properly! What!!?? They are selling a product that does not work seamlessly with 90% of the home networks in the UK - are u kidding!? Apparently I have to either turn of the 5Ghz (whatever that means) channel of my router (any ideas of how to do this anyone?) and/or give it a separate SSID!!??? Any ideas welcome. I can cook a mean chicken roast but have no idea of what any of this means. SONOS GET REAL!! MY wife has now purchased a Denon bluetooth speaker for the home so she can listen to Radio 2 without hassle from her mobile phone - which your Roam never managed to do properly. Thanks Sonos for making a totally duff product! You guys need to get this sorted for the aver
Peux t'on connecté les enceintes encastrables sonos au plafond avec la barre de son playbar et les enceintes SL et SL one
Roam goes offline after being idle for a short time. Then it seems like I have to hold the button down for about 15 seconds to restart.Any tips? Many thanks in advance!
So disappointed with my Sonos. Cannot connect via the app. Always says "cannot find existing Sonos system" .Yet a scheduled playlist I set up years ago on Plex still regularly plays at 7:30 everyday. How is it that Plex can connect to Sonos without a hitch to but the official Sonos app fails. I had plans on buying a Sonos for every room of my house, but that would be a waste of my time and money.I have tried Sonos support and I'm tired of being told it's my WiFi that is the problem. I have superb WiFi. The app fails to connect even when I plug a network cable directly. You have lost my business Sonos. Congratulations on your total failure.
So… since Sonos decided to cease support for the play 5, Connect etc. My Sonos system with legacy products is now so very unreliable. Utter Rubbish.I used to be so very positive about Sonos and their products. I now really have NOTHING positive to say.It has got to the point now where I regret buying this expensive rubbish.Dont get me wrong, when it works it sounds great but that’s if you can control it!
I have arc, sub and surrounds. One of the surrounds recently disconnected from the network so I’m trying to reconnect it. I’ve followed the steps on doing a factory reset but that’s not working. The error occurs when adding the speakers as surrounds to my existing setup. Arc and Sub are on the same WiFi network that I’m trying to add the Surrounds to.Tried 5 times and now I’m bored of going through the same process over and over again without it working.Edit: I’ve just been through the network management process and ensured that all speakers are on the same network. However despite this they appear in different groups within the app:
Hopefully and easy one, do the Play One, and One fit all the same speaker stands as each other. The Flexson I’m looking at (FLXS1FS1021U) only makes mention of the Sonos one
I’m hoping someone can solve an issue I’ve had for years. I have a Sonos Play5 and a 1 --both first gen. I like the sound, but the connectivity has always been buggy. Half the time I open the S1 app from my iphone (or wife’s pixel phone) it says it’s unavailable or it just won’t play music. Half the time it works fine. Sometimes it works fine and then stops working. It’s buggy. I wonder if it has to do with my Eero mesh wifi system. I have the main eero hub and two satellites. Could it be that the sonos (which are both in the same room, living room) connect to the main Eeero and the phones may switch if I go to a different room? Could that cause connectivity issues? Or could it be something else?Any pointer on getting this to work more reliably would be great. I’ve called sonos many times over the years and they’ve helped trouble shoot the issue -- sometimes they help, sometimes not, but regardless, a few days later it’s aways back to buggy.I’m considering getting a diffe
My Sonos Move previously connected to my Sony mini hifi (CMT-BX90HTR), so I could play CDs on the Sony through the Move. Now it no longer connects, and I can’t get it to re-pair. I have followed the instructions for pairing to the letter - in both the Move manual and the Sony manual. no luck - help!
We have a pair of Sonos speakers ( a One & One SL ) paired in our lounge controlled by a Amazon Echo., and am awaiting delivery of a Sonos 5 and Rega Turntable set up any day now. Seen a pair of Sonos Play 1 speakers for sale, they are in excellent condition, and at £120 look a good buy. Was thinking of getting them to pair up in Stereo for the kitchen, at present there is a wall mounted Amazon Echo Plus, which is not to good. I have a spare echo dot which would control the new Play 1’s. Biggest concern is that they are a few years old and i just wonder how long Sonos will support these with updates etc. Any advice appreciated
Hi all!Yesterday I had a friend at my home. He is a true audiophile. He owns a Sonus Faber speakers with Mcintosh amp and a whole lot more really expensive equipment (DAC, cords...). But, he used to own a system 5 or 10 times cheaper so I think he knows what he is hearing/saying. I myself listened to his newest system. I went speechless. I told him numerous time: Sonos is not for critical music listening, but my 5.1 setup for movies: it can hold its own. So, yesterday he had his ears on my Playbar, rear 3’s and a SUB. First, Eric Clapton’s Layla, unplugged through Spotify. After 10 seconds, he went: “Whoa, someone killed the musicians”. I LOLed but even before I had a chance to “tweak” the sound he kindly asked me to turn it off :-) Ok, how about some movies. The plane hijacking scene of The Dark Knight Rises was our choice. He let me go a bit longer than Layla but he said: Do you know how much sound you are missing here? So, I pushed mute, and replied: I don’t agree, I thing that movi
Hello Everyone,We will be installing in a Museum gallery several SONOS 5 speakers. They will be above guests heads on one of the walls of the gallery and will require a secondary safety mechanism in case the mount fails.Usually, we would attach a safety cable between the speaker and the mounting surface, but I have not found a mounting point on the speaker to do this. Short of drilling a hole in the cabinet (which would void the warranty) or using some sort of super adhesive mount that could hold the weight of the speaker (might also void the warranty), I am kind of short on ideas. If anyone has experience with this, I would appreciate any and all suggestions.Thank you.
I have an issue where some of my speakers appear to have lost their trueplay settings and I have to retune to get this to work, which is a real pain. Speakers aren’t being moved or reset etc - does anyone have any insight as to why this is happening? thanks
Can you listen to Sonos HD Radio over bluetooth or Airplay 2 with a Roam speaker? Do you still get the best quality or is that only when it’s part of your home system?
Is there a way to order a replacement grill for a Sonos Play:5 Gen 2 speaker?
Long story short, I want to connect sonos roam to a monitor, that has no speakers. Will connecting sonos roam via usb-c to 3.5mm cable work?
I have two systems set up. One for home theater. This consist of Beam 2, Sonos sub, and two Sonos Ones for rear. Perfect…For music I have the Sonos Amp connected to two Klipsch floor speakers and two Bose shelf speakers, with a Klipsch sub. Very nice, I usually set the music system to full, however I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to add two more Sonos Ones for the ambient effect as well. This new system of music is meant to replace my old system where I enjoyed full surround sound for my music. Music matter a lot to me.
I am new to Sonos. I wanted to setup Sonos Speaker. Can I play Sonos Speaker through Bluetooth. Help me with guiding steps.
Hi. I have 15 Sonos speakers connected in various configurations across several rooms. Two of the speakers are first generation Play 5’s controlled via the S1 app. The rest are controlled via the S2 app. Both systems are rock solid and perform flawlessly independent of each other. I have purchased a Sonos Roam and have attempted to connect the speaker to my system using the S2 app. The system appeared to get confused during set up stating the new roam required an update. During this update the speaker disappeared from the S2 app. For some reason it is now only visible on the S1 app. I’m fully aware its not compatible with the S1 app. I am now unable to remove it from the S1 app. I have reset the app and wi fi router without success. Should i delete the S1 app, reset the roam and attempt to connect to the S2 app and If successful then reinstall the S1 system? Thanks.
Hi everyone, I received my Sonos Roam yesterday and I am quite concerned by the battery drain on standby mode.My roam is losing about 10% every hour on standby, which brings us to 10hours but I was expecting 10 hours in playing mode.Should I be concerned by those stats are it was the expected consumption?Thank you !
The previous responses were over a year ago. Any chance this feature has been added
Hello, I know Sonos beam does not have bluetooth. I would like to know if it is possible to connect directly (wireless) a Sonos Beam via Airplay using Netflix, Prime or Flex in order to have the sound from the Sonos Beam speaker ? Best,
