Hello, I am creating a media wall with recessed TV, Playbar and a fire at the bottom.
My question is will the Playbar sound be affected by being placed in a recessed shelf? Has anyone done this?

It depends on how much clearance you have above and on the sides of the Playbar. You don’t want anything to block the Playbar’s drivers.

Decided just to do it. I have left some clearance top abs sides and doubt my ears would notice the difference anyway.
The Sonos Playbar product guide recommends at least 30cm clearance each end.
