I have 6 x Sonos Ones and SL’s, 2 x Sonos Amps and 3 x Sonos Ports which, as you can imagine, was a huge investment on my part to channel my YouTube Streaming Music via my Android phone across my property. Recently YT Music (YT) stopped working. When I try to play a YT playlist, I get the spinning circle of death on the play symbol. On the 1 time out of 15 it works, shuffle no longer works. Or it plays one different song then repeats the 4 songs its already previously played. Then it goes back to not playing at all.     I have unlinked my account, relinked, reset my router, ‘forgotten’ my entire system, reset and reconnected every one of my components, uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, relinked YT, and relinked components. Sonos S1 gives me a really helpful option to download a google chrome app instead of downgrading my system to work on the S1 App.I see you can connect to the system by bypassing the Sonos App completely and connect directly to the system via the Spotify app. Howev

I’m running Google Home, with both Nest Mini (2nd Gen) and Nest Hub (2nd Gen) devices, and a Sonos system comprised Sonos Ones and Sonos Fives.I have added “Works with Google” to the Google Home for Sonos, and set my Sonos speakers as the default speaker for each of my Google Home devices. This worked perfectly to allow me to play music from Spotify and control it using voice commands to Google.In the last few months, it’s stopped working.If I ask a Nest Mini (2nd Gen) device to play music, it works as expected, playing on Sonos as it always has.If I ask a Next Hub (2nd Gen) device to play music, Google responds and says it’s playing on Sonos, but nothing actually plays. If I start music playing on Sonos from my phone and then ask a Nest Hub what’s playing, it can tell me - so it’s as if Google can get information from Sonos, but not give it commands.I’ve tried Sonos support and didn’t resolve the issue. In the iOS app, I would like to be able to add multiple podcast episodes at once to the play que. E.g. by clicking the three dots of a podcast show and choosing “Add to End of Queue”. Today, in the TuneIn or Sveriges Radio channels, it is not possible to add multiple/all episodes in one click to the que. Unlike songs/albums/playlists in the Spotify “channel”, you have to add each podcast episode manually, one by one. Very tedious.It is a mystery why this simple ”feature” has not been added yet. After all, the ability to play podcasts has been around for 10 years or so.In the desktop app it is easier to add multiple episodes though, than in the iOS app. Another podcast related problem is to add podcast episodes in chronological order (or simply reverse the play order of the que). Many podcasts is published with the newest episode at top. But in some cases, as with audio books published by free public radio, this is creates a problem, since you want to listen to the book podcast episodes

Is the controller ever going to get better and actually be in control? Had to leave radio on today for 4 hours when out because Sonos wouldn’t let me turn off, having tried for 20 mins before leaving. Regularly have songs stopped and switched but most infuriated about simply not being able to connect whilst having speakers playing in rooms I’m not in. C’mon Sonos - SORT IT OUT!

Where do I go to get the settings of sub, bar, etc.. ?

When trying to connect my new Ray Soundbar to the Amazon Alexa Service, Alexa doesn't find the Ray.I set up the Ray using the Sonos App, activated the Sonos Skill in the Alexa App and tried to add a new speaker, but Alexa can't find it. I tried it by Android and iOS.The Ray ist working fine with the Sonos App. Ii is connected to the router by LAN, the Echo Dot by WLAN.Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am redoing our office/game room and am upgrading the speakers. I have a dual monitor set up with a docking station with HDMI and 3.5mm connected to a MacBook Pro M2. I game and do some video editing and also just browse and wondering if Era 100 connected to docking station works or is there latency. Would it be be better off with a Beam?

My sonos One wont work today as it says I must reauthorise it. It asks me to also reauthorise Tunein. Do I have to have TuneIn to make my Sonos work? Is there a work around? 

Why can’t I use separate music on different speakers in different rooms? Had it before new update. What gives?

I bought a ray sounbar and sub mini as a set. I then felt like I missed the surrround experience as I have 4 overhead speakers from before but I don't have room for two speakers behind my couch so I only bought one era 100 speaker which I was told could sync with the ray sound bar and provide a rear feed. Is this incorrect? Do I need two speakers two have any chance of rear sound? Since the era 100 is sold as a single or a pair I thought it was good to go but I can't get it to sync with the ray soundbar for tv/movies. 

I got an email from no-reply@con.sonos.com about 20 years and 25% discount on most products. Is this an fishing mail? I logged in on the mail, a little bit stupid to not check first.

Hi,Can the SUB gen4 or the SUB gen3 work with Sonos Era100 Pro speakers? And if so, can they connect wirelessly? 

I had an install done by Best Buy. I purchased the Sonos - Beam (Gen 2) 5.0 Channel Smart Soundbar with Dolby Atmos. They took the manual when cleaning up.I tried downloading the PDF, but it shows up the size of a postage stamp no matter how hard I try to print it.  Is it possible to have a manual mailed to me? Who do I contact?

Do you know if it’s planned, that Sonos App let control volume of speaker again through iPhone volume buttons?I did read, that it is not possible anymore, because of Apple’s decision. But I am wondering, why I can control the volume of my Bose SoundTouch Series 2 WiFi speaker in the Bose app with the iPhone volume buttons. It’s the same, isn’t it? The Bose app itself also does not play music and no AirPlay or Bluetooth is used.

When trying to delete a Sonos Music Library song or album from the shared folder on my PC so they no longer appear in my Music Library and are no longer on my hard drive, which related files do I delete? I would guess I need to delete the flac, jpg, log and cue files. Is that correct? And to delete an entire album, do I just delete all the files related to all the songs in that album? 

Hey, any advice would be appreciated please :-)  I want to put ceiling speakers across 3 rooms.  room one is 60m2 room two is 39m2room 3 is 15m2 my question is two fold: how many speakers would you recommend in each room and how many amps would I need to fuel all speakers to potentially be playing same music at same time? Thanks in advance ! 

I’ve linked to my Apple Music library, but am having problems with playlists.   The playlists appear as weird long names and there are hundreds of them (for example:  P876360113-As95196478_audio_en_gr256_mp4).  I’ve made sure I include the folder share where Apple Music library is and also I’ve manually exported the library to XML format where the music files are kept, but I can’t seem to get it to work.    

I have an apartment of 300sqm and there are the following rooms:Living room with 5 speakers (zone 1-2)Kitchen with 2 speakers (zone 3)Master bedroom+bathroom with 2+1 speakers (zone 4)Bedroom with 2 speakers (zone 5) TV room with 2 speakers (zone 6) The wires of all speakers are ending in one place in the living room. I’m considering on getting 4-6 Sonos Amp devices in order to have 4-6 zones.I use Spotify, Apple music and other streaming services.My mobile devices are iPhone, iPad etc.Am I able to use Spotify in zones 1-2-3 and Apple Music in zones 4-5?Is it easy for my family members (teenagers and adults) to make basic adjustments and selections in apps, volumes, zones etc? Could you provide me with some screenshots of the Sonos App to see the software environment?I’m new to Sonos, i asked a retailer in my region but he didn’t satisfy all my questions.What is your opinion?Should I get only Sonos Amp devices or I could use some Sonos Port devices to combine them? Thanks in advance

I am writing an arduino IDE Esp8266 sketch to monitor the play status of a Sonos speaker and trigger an outlet. With SOAP responses, I can easily monitor the avTransport service using the getTransportInfo to get the currentTransportState.  But, if the speaker is grouped, that output is always “playing.” My idea is to identify the group coordinator IP and then use that device’s currentTransportState when the speaker is grouped. My issue is that when I group the speaker, the ZoneGroup Coordinator is defaulting to the same device every time… even when that device is not a part of the playing group. I assume it must have the lowest or first UUID, or something.  is there another way that I can monitor the play/pause status of a grouped speaker that is not the coordinator?  I know I’m missing something.  specs:I am using the S1 app with a variety of zp90, zp120, and play3. It’s an older system.  all thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you. 

I have a Beam Gen 2 speaker with a sub-mini and I am thinking of adding two speakers for a surround sound experience when watching movies. I have a modest sized Lounge and the current set-up gives good sound quality. Any thoughts on the best additional speakers to purchase? Thanks and happy Listening.

I have a problem with my hearing.   I have some problems with deep (bass) voices merging into one.  The right ear is worse but I can usually hear what I need.  My main problem is that certain letters sound different ie S sounds like F etc .  I hear my tv ( 1 year old top spec) but due to the letter issues I sometimes loose the plot.   All this is not severe so most people would not know.I’m hoping a sound bar and perhaps speakers will help.  I have been looking at the Sonos Beam and Arc sound bars.  Perhaps a speaker might also help but as low tones merge I’m assuming the the bass speaker would not help /improve  my experience.Can anyone help with suggestions or a personal experience.

Hi!. I’ve just started with somos arc ultra and i’d like ti know wich surround soeakers and sunwoofer i need to complete my home cinema (médium size room) . Itll be enougb with sub mini and era 100?

My Sonos system (Beam & 2 100’s) stopped responding to play music commands with Alexa. I get the “I’m having trouble playing that right now” message. I’ve rebooted the system and reauthorized all music systems. WiFi signal very strong. Any help is appreciated.
