When using AirPlay through the Tidal app, I’m able to connect to my non-AirPlay compatible speakers (Play:1, Connect, Sonos IKEA and Roam). Yet, when I AirPlay through the Sirius/XM app, I only see my compatible ERA 100 & Beam gen 2.

I don’t think you’re using either AirPlay (or, for that matter, Bluetooth) when you’re telling your Sonos speakers to play the Tidal content. I suspect it’s connecting via WiFi, but you’d need to confirm that with Tidal. But the Sonos devices such as the CONNECT and PLAY:1 just don’t have the electronics in them to receive and interpret either AirPlay 1 or AirPlay 2, or Bluetooth.
