Hei

I trying to setup my google assist by using the following setup

  1. SONOS One SL (Kitchen)
  2. SONOS ONE (Dinning room)
  3. SONOS ONE SL  (Living room)

Dining room and living room are grouped in SONOS app

The issue

I would like google assist to reply on all SONOS devices is that even possible? (If yes how should it be done)

Thanks

Yes assuming you’re based in Norway it is possible there - see this Support Link:

Thanks for the reply

I did not quit solve the problem

The google assist works fine in my region (Norway), but I would like google assist to reply using all my SONOS devices. As it is right now the google assist only replays to my commands from the SONOS ONE located in the dinning room which is a part of the living room (Group in SONOS).

Example

Hei google: What time is it?

  1. SONOS One SL (Kitchen) = No sound
  2. SONOS ONE (Dinning room) = The time is xx:xx
  3. SONOS ONE SL  (Living room) = No sound

I would like the time to be announced on all devices like by one command.

  1. SONOS One SL (Kitchen) = The time is xx:xx
  2. SONOS ONE (Dinning room) = The time is xx:xx
  3. SONOS ONE SL  (Living room) = The time is xx:xx

Thaks

With Google, you can only set the one default speaker (the Sonos One in your case) that’s the way it currently works but maybe feed this back to Google as a ‘feature request’ to ask if they can default their nest device output audio to a ‘group’ of speakers and perhaps see what they say.
