In the latest iOS app (80.17.14), the entire ‘Security & Privacy’ section is gone from account settings. This is where the ‘Personalization Services’ section used to be. There is now no way to disable listening history or prevent your data from being captured. Does anyone know what the hell happened? BEFORE AFTER
I've read plenty of posts experiencing the same as me. Dropouts for a split second streaming music to Move 2. The solution for me on Samsung Android is to go into developer settings and change to SBC from AAC. I usually get at least one dropout every 5 mins. Now I've not had any in 20 hours. I was on the brink of returning the unit but now I'll keep it. Hopefully this will help some in the community
I’m part-way through moving my sonos speakers to a new vlan and wireless network which meant resetting the Play 1s and part way through the app updates to the latest version. I wish I hadn’t.Using 80.17.09-release+20250220.d797378 on Android I now can’t add a speaker or create a stereo pair. When I click the cog (top right) no matter which button I press in the Settings screen, the whole app locks up completely. I have no choice but to close it.I’ve restarted my phone, cleared the app’s cache, restarted every other working speaker which is in my Sonos setup but nothing helps.I also noticed that when the Sonos app is minimised and I maximise it, it kind of judders rather than being a smooth transition.Does anyone have any hints as to what I can try to get speakers added and a stereo pair created with the latest Android app? thanks
I am at wits end, two hrs on phone with support and they still do not understand the issue I have a number of sonos units, port unit wired to home network, other Play:5 (Gen 1) S1 devicesThe play 5 units cannot access music on my local library . It seems it happened after a recent firmware update. I’ve used wireshark to trace the issue. Looks like the firmware in the S1 units do not send a proper filename/path to the smb server. See screenshots of the traffic to the one unit that works and the Play5 that does not work. Hope this is picked up by support via this channel. I could not get the issues across via the phone, very painful conversations !!To Play 5 that does not work:
Non riesco a effettuare l aggiornamento sull app sonos

Sonos voice control should be compatible with Govee. It would make it way easier to be able to control my Govee lights with my Sonos. Or at least Sonos should have add google assistant back.
I am very disappointed with Sonos. For years I have enjoyed using their products. But now, the darn controller will not find my system. I have done all of the suggested things and no joy. Rebooted everything. Nothing has changed on my system. It just wouldn’t find my Sonos system. So I uninstalled the controller and reinstalled it. No joy. Previous to this issue I was unable to connect to my local music library on my PC. Anyone else gone through this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to have to start over with new speakers.
Hi I have my Sonos Arc Ultra connected to my lg g4 and the sound dips out only for a second or two but on a regular basis.Ive done all the disconnecting and reconnecting, checked and altered any settings that required changing and still does it.even tried a brand new hdmi cable tonight that I ordered specially and no joy.My old Arc connected to the lg g1 did exactly the same thing, starting to drive me a little crazy now. What is going on, anyone else had these issues?
i have just purchased 2 subs gen 1-2 not sure thinking i could play music straight from my phone so is that possible or do i need to buy more equipment
Hi guysWell finally after nearly 12 months and countless updates to S2 app have now have full functionality on my Pixel 6a phone. I had contacted Sonos support on several occasions to fix the problem I was having. That was I could not “manage” my Sonos system on my pixel 6a, whereas I could on my iPad and even on android phones running older android version. But today, finally that issue has been resolved YAH.Thankyou.
it had been working fine and was connected to my home network and now it cannot find my system on the network
Anyone else having problems with system kicking off products? I have an Arc, sub amd two era 100s. It keeps dropping sub. As well will not allow ‘tune play’ starts initial step then says no speakers found. Just spent over a hour and there submitted diagnostics and still not working. So frustrated with Sonos after spending thousands for my system.
can we return speakers for refund. app is so broken it has been a couple years since I have been able to access my music library. will not buy another sonos product unril rectified. the one thing they offered was a no hassle easy wireless experience. somehow they have completely lost their way. can we get a refund?
I don’t understand why such a simple concept: “I want to play the music I own or subscribe to on the speakers attached to my WiFi” is so hard to navigate in your app.Between your weird descriptions of your Services, your Favorites and Your Sources, it is difficult to get get a simple song on Apple Music that I’m signed in to play on the selected speakers (2 out of 10 that show up on the Sources).Your app has sucked for years. Can you hire a good usability person, or your most ticked off user, to just come in and help you to redesign this before you go down the Crappy App road again?
HelloI know this community is dedicated to the discussion of Sonos soundbars, speakers, other components and accessories. However, if you are going to spend $999_USD to acquire an Arc Ultra; for the best cinematic sound, shouldn’t the picture quality of your TV compliment that expenditure? 🤔The links below offer insight into OLED panels vs QLED panels (i.e. the pro’s and con’s). The first link is neutral in content; whereas the second link is somewhat bias. Both links are sponsored; but hopefully you can look pass those indiscretions. 😊Take a look at the information provided. It may help you make the best decision as to what type of TV panel (regardless of brand) will best meet your personal expectations and viewing environment. I have Sonos system containing two Sonos One and one Sonos AmpGoogle Assistant have worked great together with my Sonos One for the last three years. Suddently out of the blue a “Sonos TV control” apears in my Google Home App. When I ex. call Google Assistant to switch off my Sonos One, it fails, and tell me there is a error with my “Sonos TV control”.First of all, I dont have any “Sonos TV control” installed nor any TV speaker and I don´t know where its coming from or how its suddently apears in my Google Home app. After two months of investigaing I now know its coming from my Sonos Amp.How can i remove/disconnect to this “Sonos TV control” in my Sonos Amp to get my Google Assistant workning again?
My YouTube Music playlist has 2,337 songs. The Sonos app on android, when selecting my playlist, now takes a hand full of songs and repeats them totalling to 34,100 songs. Shuffle doesn't work. Before this it used to show 500 songs. This is just flat out awful and frustrating. It's amazing how we went from a good product to garbage and it has been for a long time. Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be a concern. When will this be fixed?
As the previous thread () was closed and we’re still waiting for an update by @Corry P, I’m opening this new thread to continue the discussion
Hi. My sub 3 will not connect to the ERA 100s I have. I have three of them in my kitchen. It connected ok with two but now I am struggling since adding the 3rd. Thanks
I moved into a new build house with built in ceiling speakers in the kitchen and living room. I’ve purchased the Sonos Amp to run the ceiling speakers. I’ve also purchased an Era 100 for the kitchen and one for the living room so that I can replace the Alexa Dot. In addition, I have an Era 300 in my bedroom. Question 1: What is the best way to set up each room as they will have the Sonos Amp to run the ceiling speakers and an Era 100 to enable the Alexa Voice ability? Can the ceiling speakers and Era 100 work together?Question 2: Can all of them play together as a group (ceiling speakers with amp, Era 100’s in kitchen and living room and the Era 300 in my bedroom)?
When should I expect support for Amazon Music in Poland. I have working account and cannot use it with Arc Ultra
Hi all I’m new here and I just order Sonos arc ultra with sub 4 I can’t wait to be here before end of this week
IF Yes, which devices will be ready to use Alexa+? Do you have any information about this?
I love the sound the Sonos products produce. I hate the software that runs it.It’s always a problem getting my speakers to connect to the Sonos software. Always jumping through way too may hoops to accomplish it.Today, a new problem. Just wanted to play some music. Get a message that I have to re-authorize my Apple Music account.I do that.Still can’t connect to my speakers.
