I have two Sonos ONE SL set up in stereo mode in one room, and a Sonos ARC in another room. Both don’t work with AirPlay 2 from a MacBook Pro.The spakers are set up correctly and I can play using Spotify Connect from the iPhone app and from the Spotify desktop app. There is no audio coming through AirPlay 2 though, no matter what I try the connection is established (as visibile from the app reporting that AirPlay 2 is initiated) but there is no audio at all. Also volume controls and play/pause seem to work, yet no sound. I have submitted diagnostic information # 1477170668.
The call center technical support agents are not succeeding in providing solutions. We have been on the phone for three hours. There is a loud ringing noise coming from my Sonos Roam, and it only charges up to 60%. The agents on the phone can barely speak English, so it is very difficult to communicate with them, and this results in them getting your phone number wrong for example. So then they say they will call you back and they never call you back. But actually, my phone number was correct, and they just never called me back after we mutually agreed that I would take a video of the loud ringing noise and send it to them, which I did, and then didn’t receive a call back after waiting for 30 minutes. So, I called tech support again and waited 15 minutes whilst forced to listen to sonically disturbing jazz music that I cannot disable; then a woman from another call center answers and we have to repeat the entire process of endless, aimless, futile troubleshooting. She says she will tak
Hi, my diagnostic number is 179484943.The audio from my tv works fine sometimes and others it cuts out all the time, regardless of the channel. Two paired Play 1 speakers with a connect hardwired to the tv and router. Both speakers show WM:0.Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi all,Hope to get some help with an issue we have been having for some time. We operate a yoga studio and have Sonos equipment throughout. Our teachers bring their own devices with their own music so we’re dealing with multiple makes/models and streaming services. Some staff use the Sonos Controller app, others do not.In one of our studios we have two Play:1 devices (wifi) and a Play:5 (gen 2) device (ethernet). Sometimes we are not able to connect to the speakers via Airplay on an Apple device. I get the “cannot connect” error. This seems to affect mostly the hard-wired Play:5. What I found is that if I can connect one of the speakers, usually one of the Play:1 models, then I can group the speakers via the controller app on my PC and the speakers will immediately work. It’s almost like the controller has a ‘lock’ on the speakers and is refusing the AirPlay connection, even when no music is playing and the previous user has left the building. So even though I have a work-around, I’d l
Yesterday almost all my saved Qobuz playlists disappeared when accessing Qobuz through Sonos and about 8 new playlists appeared that I had never saved and can’t delete what happened and how can I fix it and stop it happening again?
Left the Roam on wireless charge and has flashing orange light constantly (low battery) and won't turn on, it was not in use and had previously charged on this wireless charger no problem. UPDATE:Seems to be charging with cable now, seems like the wireless charger didn’t charge the device despite it working previously, the charger was in spec so no idea why it hasn’t charged by wireless but definitely something I need to look at as wireless charging is important. I used the same plug to charge the device by cable and no problem.
Hi my brand new Sonos roam is currently connected to my home WiFi which has a perfectly working internet connection but when using Google assistant it says it “can’t connect to the internet right now, check your router” I’ve checked the router, disconnected and reconnected to the network, turned everything off and on again. Still the same issue what do I do?
Hi there, why if I switch from music to tv the audio level is set to zero then i have to level it up again? Thanks Mod Edit: edited for clarity
Hi everyone, bought a new beam yesterday and followed the instructions on how to connect, however i keep getting a message firstly- we can’t find Sonos on my network,i press ‘yes’,then goes to-do you want to add ‘yes’then-make sure all your products are powered on ‘find system’we couldn’t find a sonos on this account ‘done’.So things I have done- put the app on another phone- no success, have put an erthnet-no success- rebooted-again no success-moved the unit closer to my router-no success. In my wifi settings I do have the sonos sending a signal out and I have been back to the shop who confirmed it is working.any thoughts or advice would be helpful.Phil
I have a Sonos system hooked to my TV. A Playbar, two Play 1s, and a sub. My issue is, I think the sub may be missing some lows. It hits incredibly well, but there are movie parts that I remember being so much better on my traditional sub than on the Sonos sub. A clear example is the Lion King. When all of the animals are coming to Simba’s introduction at the beginning, the traditional sub would shake the house with the elephant steps, but the Sonos sub barely even plays those steps. I don’t know if it’s part of the remastering of the movie, or a lack on the part of the Sonos sub. If it’s the latter, is there a way to make it pick up and play those sounds? As I said, it is great in most movies, but maybe I’m missing something I don’t realize because I’ve only ever seen those movies since my Sonos system.
I plan to fix my Beam under my 24” Panasonic Tv (vesa 20x10) which I plan to change to a 32” later this year.the TV is on a fixed Spectrum PL60 floor stand and the vesa bolt holes are 19cm and 29cm above the lower edge of the tv.So, I’m looking for a simple solution that would have 2 vertical L shaped brackets that would be at least 30cm long to allow fixing, space for the Beam and access to the controls.Spectrum say it can’t be done, but I believe there must be a simple solution out there. Does anyone have any recommendations? thanks
Bonjour everybody,It seems it's an old subject but Never sold. When you have a group of several items, in exemple 1 pair play1 and 1 Beam, sometime you have to adjust volume of one item stronger and you want to keep it like that if course. But After that, when you adjust the entire group volume a few times, all the individual volume settings are reset at the same level n'y the système…It's really annoying, Sonos does not seem concerned by this subject, I would really appeciate comments from thé community, met Also ? Solution ?…Thank you, have a good fait !Christian
RE: Roam - automatic / seamless change between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi while continuing to play music with my doing nothing / taking no action.Yes, Roam is paired with my iPhone’s Bluetooth.***I don’t understand the automatic switching feature ... I still don’t have the following answers to my questions for the Roam:1. I am playing a song on Wi-Fi at home using my Spotify via. the Sonos App. If I leave my home in the car, will the song continue to play without my doing nothing / talking no action as Roam will automatically connect to Bluetooth to continue playing the music?3. I am playing a song using Bluetooth in my car using my Spotify App. When I enter my home, will the song continue to play without my doing nothing / talking no action as Roam

Sonos playlists missing in new S2 app for Android
Hi,I’ve had my Sonos system set up in my current house for a few years, 3 Play 1s, a One and a connect amp. Recently the Sonos app seems to lose connection with the system and all of the devices (except the one - assuming this is to do with the air play functionality) disappear. This does not happen all of the time but I would say recently 75% of the time I open the app, the speakers aren’t there. I haven’t changed anything in regard to my wifi or router recently. I’ve followed the fixes and resetting the router seems to make the app find the speakers again but the fix doesn’t last. Usually the next day they are missing again. I don’t want to have to reset my router every day! There is no issue with the speakers themselves or the WiFi. While the speakers are missing from the Sonos app they are visible and working through the Alexa app. Any ideas on how I can fix this would be most welcome. Thanks
Very happy with my Roam but apparently it does not work on SONOSNET (WMO) status WM1. The rest of my Sonos system only works on Sonosnet because I have a Mesh wifi system that, trust me, will not work correctly with Sonos (Mesh Tp-Link M9 Deco). The Roam works but I am not able to install Google assistant. Simply won’t find the Roam. It finds the other speakers just fine. (One, Arc) Could this have anything to doe with de WM1 status? Thanks in advance
I’m in the process of upgradng from a Sonos Connect to a Port. Before I do so I’m trying to test the connectivity between the Connect and my amp, to see if the amp is up to the job. I’ve gone and purchased what I’m told is a coax digital cable (a Digitech WV7304 from Jaycar), and connected it to the “coax” output on the Connect but just can’t make it work. I was previously using the “optical” output port and that was working fine. (So all I’ve done is replace the optical cable with what I’m told is a digital coax cable; my thinking being that if I can make the new cable work with the Connect then I should be fine to go ahead and purchase the Port.)So my question is, what exactly is a digital coax cable, and does this differ from a modern rca/rca cable? Have I gone an purchased the wrong cable, or do I have some other (hidden) problem??Thanks.
I seem to be having trouble with mu Sonos amp in that the sound quality is aweful. I have tried numerous speaker setups including Tannoy floor standing speakers, kef wall mounted speakers and most recently harmen kardon speakers, all setups with and without subwoofer. I have also hooked up the speakers to other amps and finding a huge increase in quality using different amps. The sound from the sonos amp always seems to sound underwattery, thats the best way I cam describe it but its missing clarity in Bass and Mid. This is particularly noticable when I have started using it for my TV audio, and the result is it is very hard to understand speech. Can anyone help/advise? All the sonos ones, and sonos move in the house sound great so im at a loss with the amp, especially when using high quality speakers. Thanks, Lewis
See this topic had been discussed but I do not see a solution . I have rebooted. Reloaded Google assistant but same msg
Hello Sonos Community!I have paired 1 Sonos Play 5 (with line-in) and 1 Sonos One. Sometimes, I would like to stream music via Bluetooth, and I’m wondering if anybody could recommend a suitable adapter.I understand that it should be plugged in the Sonos Play 5 line-in, in which case I would lose the pairing with the Sonos One, correct?Any additional tip?Have a great Sonos’ day!
