Trouble balancing EQ on Sonos Arc in small room

Hello everyone.

I have a wall-mounted Arc and find that for many movies/shows, the sounds are quite loud, but voices are too quiet.  My kids are watching cartoons now, and the sounds (crashes, sound effects, etc.) are BOOMING, but the voices are quite lower in the mix.

 - Loudness:  OFF

 - Trueplay:  ON

Is anyone else running into this?

Try turning on Night Sound (moon icon). This reduces the intensity of loud sounds while increasing the level of quieter sounds, making dialogue clearer without having to turn up the volume.

I’ll give that a go!

Speech enhancement, bubble icon, on too.

I’d suggest asking Sonos for an independent center channel volume control too. We have all the other stuff on and we’d still like a bit more dialog volume relative to the background sounds.
