here is my confirmation number: 233176857 i click on amazon music and i get this:
I have a Sonos Gen 2 that has been misbehaving badly lately, and this is a last-ditch effort to try to resurrect it.Symtoms:When connected to Ethernet, it powers on and then I get a solid white light. When not on Ethernet, it flashes white several times and then the light goes out. When I factory reset on Ethernet, it flashes white 3 times, then goes into a sequence of 4 white/orange flashes, then it repeats the sequence as long as I keep the button on the back held down.If I hold the PLAY/PAUSE button, it flashes white a few times and then goes solid red.Looking at my Pi-Hole device list, it DOES show up in my list of Ethernet devices and is assigned an IP address, so there is *some* life to it.I have tried factory resetting it several times, both on/off Ethernet, including at the request of a Sonos chat agent, to no avail. It’s not under warranty anymore so it’s effectively “trash”, which I feel terrrible about. One of those “worked yesterday, now doesn’t work” situations, and there re
I am running a Gen-1 system comprising two Connect ZP90's, a Connect Amp ZP120 and a ZoneBridge BR100. Intermittently, the two ZP90's keep dropping off of the (Sonos) system. Checking my router web page, all components show up as connected and are assigned MAC addresses, even when NOT showing up on the Sonos app. One will disappear to be replaced by the other, before swapping again and (sometimes) temporarily all components will reappear on the system for a short time before disappearing again. This despite one of the ZP90's being hardwired to the router via a NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS108). Restarting the router seems to help temporarily, but isn’t providing a long term fix. Also, frequently, when trying to play a radio station on one of the ZP90's, I get a message saying "Cannot connect to Sonos Product" I have sent diagnostics and the confirmation number is: 1656924348. Can anybody help please? THANK YOU.
I have two Sonos Ones stereo paired and have connected to my Apple TV (running tvOS 15.2) and when I select the Audio output to Living Room (my stereo pair Sonos Ones) I only get sound out of my right speaker. The left speaker is completely silent. This is not an issue when listening to music via the stereo pair on the So is app, just when using Airplay on the Apple TV. I changed the Apple TV format to Stereo but that didn’t work as well. Wondering if there is a
Merci d’avance ?
HiI have just replaced my Connect (v1) with at Port…I have a setup with port in one end and 2 B&O active speaker in the other using the Line-entence.I have a 10m cabel in between (and this is the issue)When the POrt is not active, the speakers make a constant buzz and never power down. There are a constant noice from the speaker…If I replace the 10m cabel, with a 0,5m cabel → no problems… My Clever friends talks about, the 10 cabal acts as an antenna, when not in use and thisis the reason for the constant buzz…When I used the Old Connect, it was not a problem. What Can I do??
I had a Five go down and Sonos replaced it with a refurbished unit, which I just received. The replacement works fine functionally (produces audio normally, setup works fine, etc.) Cosmetically however the speaker grill cover does not seem to be fully adhered to the rest of the unit in a few places… i.e. it doesn’t sit completely flush by .5cm and I can push it down a wee bit to make it flush. The grill cover on my other Fives are completely flush and firmly attached to the unit without moving. I am assuming this is the case with my replacement because they had to remove the grill cover to inspect the speakers or something.Functionally it’s not an issue at all but it is something on the back of my mind that bothers me. I’m debating sending it back however (1) it would be annoying to go through all that and (2) it’s possible that I’d get a unit that’s in worse shape since they only send you refurbs for RMA replacement.Question: I’m just curious what other people would do here in this ca
This topicHas sent me to the brink of throwing away my entire system, yet my “Troubleshooting” thread is marked as “Answered”.It clearly is not.Shouldn’t the OP be the only one who can mark it as such? (Did I somehow mark it as such? I’ve never felt this issue is resolved...)
I have started doing more with my MacBook Pro. As a result I tried to use Sonos Controller for Mac to control my Sonos Play:5 Gen 2.I have the following MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey 12.4 Sonos Contorller for Mac 14.10 (build 68330100) Play:5 Gen 2 1.13.1.9-1.2I have Cloudflare WarpVersion 2022.5.342.0 (20220616.9) Excluding the following IP Ranges 192.168.1.0/16 excluded to enable Logitech Flow a virutal KVM switch. 239.255.255.250/32 workaround proposed by Cloudflare 255.255.255.255/32 workaround proposed by Cloudflare The controller could not find the Play:5. I found a workaround proposed by Cloudflare back in June 2021 until a fix was implemented in Warp. I would have thought it was fixed after a year but no joy. When I added the 2 IP ranges Sonos Control could find the Play:5 without turnign off Warp. However the controller cannot see the contents of the services and start playing music with Warp on. In order to play for example an Apple playlist. I have to turn off Warp. T
HiA friend of mine contacted support the other day and asked them if they could see anything wrong with the HW, since she got dropouts. The support personal said that everything looked fine, but the readonly memory was almost full and this COULD cause music drops out and other wierd things. The person also said that even if you do a factory reset it will not free this memory, since it’s Readonly. I get that, but if it’s read only memory, then how did it get full?Have anyone else heard about this, or is it just a distraction from the support personal? I mean, if this is true, then ALL Play 5 Gen is running out of memory, since I am guessing the only thing that can write there is a Firmware upgrade. Thoughts? RegardsLasse
Hello all, please bear with my lack of knowledge in this area but I am looking for some advice on my home set up. I have recently started work on extending the rear of my house and have bought 4 x Sonance ceiling speakers and a Sonos Amp. We have also been looking at acquiring a Sonos Beam (gen1) and was wondering how this all comes together. The (albeit simple) plan below shows the set up that I have in mind, but the complication is the soundbar that I would like to add to the equation. If I add the soundbar, how is it connected to the TV Arc if the Amp is already connecting to that? Secondly, can I control the outputs through the app (i.e shut off the kitchen speakers if listening to music in the living room? (for instance)Thirdly, if I play the PS5 through the TV, would sound come through the soundbar and also through the ceiling speakers?Like I said, this is very new to me and the house is very much a building site still, so I have no way of testing it (which is how I tend to learn
Hi there was a post a few years ago about issues linking X14 and Sonos. There was a solution but it was noted on any of the relies. Can any one remember what the solution was as I’m having the same issues with the X14. X10 was never a problem but upgraded as X10 is at the end of its life.Thanks.
I just moved homes, and we have ATT Fiber WIFI. When I go to connect my Playbar to WIFI as we did in our previous home, I get an error once I enter the WIFI password. I plan to swtich the route to 2.4ghz tonight to see if that will solve the issue, but I wanted to see if there were any alternative suggestions. I am unable to hardwire the Playbar, so in an attempt to alleviate the connectivity issues I purchased a Sonos Boost so I could run everything through the Sonosnet. The issue, however, is that with the Sonos app not able to connect to the WIFI, the functionality of the app is limited, including the ability to add a Boost. This has become endlessly frustrating, so I wanted to see if there were any solutions that I haven’t thought of yet. I appreciate it in advance!
Hi, sorry for the noob question... totally new to Sonos (yesterday) and trying to get everything sorted in the app.I have a lot of tracks in playlists in my YT library that I now want to stream on Sonos. I've set up all my other streaming services successfully...but not YT.I've linked and authorized through Sonos app and YT, but when I access YT in the Sonos app I get the message 'Unable to browse music'.I've deleted and started again...no difference.I've re-authorized...no difference.Any suggestions for a fix before I ditch the Sonos app (on day 2 😂!) and buy a Bluetooth receiver. Many thanksRob
Both my MacBook Pro and Megaseg (DJ software) “see” the Bluetooth connection, but there is nothing coming out of the speaker. When I disconnect the Bluetooth, the internal speakers cut in and work fine.Does the speaker need to be disconnected / isolated from wifi in order to engage bluetooth? Is the bluetooth confused by other connections (phone, iPad etc) ?
I have a very annoying ’problem’ with my Sonos speakers, that I’d previously spent ~£500 to remedy this ‘1st world problem’ by buying a 2 bay NAS with SSD’s.Unfortunately, I’ve had to RMA one of the SSDs so I’m back to relying on my NAS’ with mechanical drives for the time being … so re-encountering this lovely ‘feature’ that is just downright annoying. To explain and set the scene …I add a folder of music from the NAS, say a 12 track album, then play the album ...If the Sonos has to wait for the NAS to wake up, it’ll fails to play the first handful of songs, claiming can’t connect/lost connection and yet happily plays the rest of the album in the same folder on the same bloody NAS!!! Those ‘missing’ tracks are then completely unavailable to the Sonos now!You have to physically yank the power cable for this situation to remedy even when the NAS is fully awake, as the Sonos refuses to accept that the ‘missing’ songs are there/playable.I have 5x Play 5’s and 1x Play 3 set up in 3 ‘groups’
Regarding Radio Paradise streaming problems (music tracks repeating constantly), is anyone at Amazon or Sonos addressing this issue?? Anyone at Amazon or Sonos interested?
I have an arc soundbar, two, one sl rears, and a gen 3 sub. When Dolby Digital plus surround is available, I get an audio delay compared to video, i.e. lip sync issue. Slowing the audio will make it worse. I am using a 2019 Samsung that only has HDMI ARC. I’ve tried many settings on the tv with no success. Any ideas? Do I need a TV with eARC due to high data transmission requirements?

I need to use some of my speakers (x2 Play 5, Gen 1) on the S1 app and also have a Playbar on the same system - which i just use as a standalone speaker for a different room. However, I also have x2 Play 1 speakers and a Beam (gen 1) which I'm currently using on the S2 app.The problem is that when I open the S1 app to use with speakers in some of my rooms, I get an annoying popup telling me that I can use the S2 app with these speakers - but may first need to upgrade them to latest software (that seems to be wrong - they're incompatible). There is no way to close this popup screen and so I can't actually use my sound system. It's driving me crazy. Can anyone help with this?
I am so over my Sonos system. I’m very frustrated with what shouldn’t be so difficult to figure out.I got my Sonos Playbar, Sub and 2 speakers Jan of 2020. Last year in September, I moved to a new place with new router, etc. In my new house I setup a Ubiquiti UMD Pro with a switcher and 3 WPs attached to the switcher. When I go into my App, my account, system and services&voice are grayed out. When I try to Select your Product and it searches for nearby products, I get nothing. Devices are plugged in and on. When I select join nearby system it says “We can’t find a Sonos system on (wifi network name). Did you make changes to your router or network settings.” When I go through the process and try to find a system, it says Sonos not found. Make sure you’re signed in and your mobile device is connected to the internet an don the same WiFI as Sonos. This is extremely frustrating and I can’t find a solution.
I just bought an entirely new set up for our living room. I have heard awesome things about Sonos, so I decided to spend the extra money on the Beam and Sub. I got home and was entirely thrilled to set up my new outfit.. I found that when I watched normal cable (we have Spectrum) that there is a lip sync/audio delay issue.. The beam is connected to eARC, and TV’s/Sonos delay settings are set to “0,” but I still have a slight lip sync issue.. It is driving me NUTS, enough to take both the soundbar back to the store. Apparently I am not the only one with this issue, and I have tried most of the recommended troubleshooting techniques such as setting the audio to “pass-through,” enabling eARC, lowering audio delay to 0, resetting both TV and Sonos. Can someone for the life of me provide a solution?
Please can someone help me set up my second move I’ve just had delivered so I can listen in stereo.
Slowly but surely over the last few years Sonos as a platform has really gone downhill to the point where im considering looking for an alternative to replace my system. Here’s just a few of my gripes: The failure to move away from SMB1 and the security flaws therein I’ve moved a pair of Sone Ones from my bedroom to the lounge and renamed them, but every time I go back into the app the speakers rename themselves back to master bedroom Album artwork hardly ever shows in the app Playlists will disappear from view for weeks on end then randomly show up for a couple of days only to disappear again. That’s not specific playlists, it’s the actual playlists section completely disappears from the star section of the app New albums are added to my network share but no matter how many times I update music library they don’t appear, then couple weeks later they’ll magically appear We have a Play 1 in the nursery which plays lullabies to our child at bedtime, the same songs were queued on the devi
New laptop, music library copied from old lap top to new laptop, looks like the folder is recognised in SONOS Folders but SONOS will not update the Sonos music library playlists on the new laptop. I have removed the old music path. Still, no playlists are being indexed. I have read similar posts and I believe I have it set up correctly . Please help ASAP.Thanks, Carolyn
