Relisten service not working

Once again my Sonos system can’t connect to the Relisten service. This has been ongoing for a few days now and their regular app works fine and so does the Relisten website. My Sonos says it can’t connect, however, via either my iOS app or my desktop app.

Did you find what you were looking for?

I am also experiencing this.

Also I have to keep reauthorizing many other apps.  I am hopeful that the SONOS team is working with

@switz213 who I found out was the keeper of the reliten app on another thread like this which was 4 months old and closed, without what I could see as a complete resolution.

Documentation is key here for us users to be able to help ourselves and limit the amount of tickets we send to hard working support staff.

As I understand it topics are closed due to inactivity, even if no conclusion is reached. Not sure what you mean by “tickets” that are sent in. If you mean diagnostics, they only will be looked at when the sender contacts Sonos, so just sending in diagnostics will do nothing for the workload of Sonos’ support staff.

The service went down, I just brought it back up. Should be working again.

Sonos continues to suck. Half the time Relisten doesn’t work. I get error messages listening to Sirius XM. This past year has been pure hell with this software and frank;y precious little has actually been fixed.

Given the number of people who use Relisten it's pathetic that they can’t get this working.

Given that all Sonos does is point to the server specified by Relisten, and parse the data it is handed by that server, it’s hard to imagine Sonos has much control.

Ever since the new App, my relisten hasn't worked correctly.  Most of the time it skips through the entire show in seconds.  Though for the first 4 to 5 months after the new app, I could only see half the database.  It wouldn't go past bands beginning with a M.  So Widespread Panic was way out the question.

This has been the poorest display of professionalism related to the new app.  The Board of Directors should be ashamed of themselves.  The CEO made a critical series of mistakes and hasn't displayed the ability to fix the issues his actions created. This community and its shareholders deserve better.

I haven’t been able to connect to Relisten for awhile, never had issue before.  However, I am still using my original Play 5 Gen 1 speakers, on S1 Controller.  I tried to update the controller and connect my speakers, but the old speakers don’t connect to new controller.  Took me forever to figure all this out.  Plus my fiancee bought me a roam, but there’s no way that hooks up without having to update everything, then the old speakers don’t work.  I just use Roam as bluetooth speaker.  Don’t really feel like shelling out $1k to replace speakers that work great.  So I guess i’m lucky to get whatever I can at this point.

I’m curious. Have you replaced a phone in all that time? Since Sonos stopped selling S1 only devices, I mean. There aren’t many of those, many Sonos device can run one or the other, just not both at the same time.

I called about a month ago and was ultimately told (after 40 mins) that it was a system-wide issue. I still cannot connect.

I run strictly a Sonos 1 system. Including soundbar, connect amp, etc.

I have outdoor Bose speakers wired into the amp. I live for listening on my deck.

I used to always use Relisten. As I’m sure we all know, it hasn’t worked in months.

I get the dreaded” “Unable to Browse Music.” “

I finally called Sonos and they gave me the company line bullsh&*t.

I asked why don’t they just remove it as a choice for those of us using Sonos1.

They suck. They’re leaving me no choice but to dump the whole piece of crap Sonos system.

What a terrible company.
