Hi I am a Mac user with an iTunes library that I am trying to add to the new app, I have followed the guide setting up the folder as a network share etc… it seems to start the process saying updating music library then it stops with the following see screenshot. Before anyone asks the music folder is on the internal SSD drive

Hi there @Xland , thanks for getting in touch and sorry about the delay in responding to your post.

Our team are currently investigating certain issues relating to local music libraries and the new Sonos App, though its not clear from your description whether your issue is related or something different. What I would suggest to start would be to power off the Mac, any Sonos devices and your wifi router, then power them back on starting with the router. If you see the same behaviour after this you could also attempt to add the share from the Sonos App on a mobile device (Gear symbol at top-right > Manage > Music Library >Add Shared Folder).

If the above does not resolve the issue, then please reach out to our technical support who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope this helps!

Thanks, @Craig L .  I see that not all the issues associated with the May rollout have yet been resolved.  Would be VERY helpful to your users if you could create a section on your website where we could see the known issues and status of their resolution.  Some communication had come out that there would be a July release where everything would be resolved, but I’m still not able to access my music library.  It’s rather tiresome to keep trying everytime I get a Sonos update. Why not be transparent with your customers instead of keeping us in the dark?

Hi @davidjbergeron , sorry to hear you are experiencing music library issues. If you have time then contacting our technical support could still be a good idea, it may well be that one of our agents can solve the issue for you, depending on the exact cause in your case. With regards transparency, I am happy to share a link to this status page which has recently been set up by one of our staff, it shows where we are on future improvements and bug fixes. I hope this helps!

@Craig L It’s a bit confusing though isn’t it? On the one hand it says queue functionality is implemented/resolved, yet ‘full’ queue editing/management is On The Roadmap… I don’t think you can claim the former without the latter…
