F****** app icon is constantly jumping up and down on my Mac. It takes like three separate interruptions just to get the f***er to install the update. I don’t even know what the updates do and they don’t seem to do anything at all but break s***. Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
I’ve been using Sonos speakers and enjoy them. I had to accept that they took away “On My Phone” option, but how can one access Sonos on another computer in the hosuehold and use one’s music library as well? When I access the Sonos app on my mac, it reads the one I’m using at the time. My spouse can’t just open the app on her computer and simply add her library as well. Nobody wants to remove the current music library in settings and then update the new computer’s different library each time it’s used in the house? This makes NO sense. Any help is appreciated. If this isn’t fixed or planned in the near future, it’s time to sell the system. Thanking you in advance.
Hi, I have been noticing that the volume on sonos components is very low even when the volume is around 50%. It then gets loud quickly as the volume is increased further. I think this is related to having a linear vs a logarithmic volume slider level. The volume should increase at the same level throughout the range. At best, there should be the option within the settings whether to have a linear or logarithmic volume slider in order to provide both options. With thanksKeith
Hi, Is it possible to group a number of speakers to work as a single zone (possibly in mono), other than having to parallel the speaker connections on an AMP for instance?It there a way to have say multiple AMPs controlled together as a single zone, in a ‘fixed’ configuration as opposed to having these grouped or ungrouped through the app? (such that the user cannot change this configuration)?Another idea (or feature request) would be to have a 100V version of the AMP that would cater for this very easily. With thanksKeith
I am a long time Spotify user with the old Sonos Play:5. Usually I stream to Sonos directly from Spotify app on the phone (although I can do it though the S1 controller as well). I have been thinking of transitioning to Apple Music. I used a free third party app to move around 8 playlists from Spotify to Apple Music, and then I created new playlists within Apple Music. I added Apple Music to S1 as well. I can see Apple Music playlists through the S1 app, but only those that transitioned from Spotify; I don’t see the ones I created from scratch within Apple Music. I would appreciate some help.
I'm no longer seeing the search categories at the top of the screen that I used to (to select search by artist, song, album, playlist, etc.). The only options displaying at the top are "Stations" or "Podcasts & Shows" and when I search there are no options for pandora or spotify. Using the S2 controller on a samsung/android. My wifes controller still shows the old view. Any ideas on how to get this back to the previous search options?

It doesn’t happen when using Spotify on my iphone. It’s only when the two are combined.Can anyone else hear this and any ideas what’s happening?Thanks!
Hello.It’s been a while since the Soundcloud stream started cutting off: I always see only 10 records. However the Stream should be infinite. I don’t see the same problem in “Likes” or “New & Hot” sections. The problem appears in both Sonos iOS mobile and Mac desktop apps. I’ve submitted diagnostics, mu number is 691637994
I have a 2020 I phone SE, when using my arc and subwoofer…..the Sonos app will quickly disconnect from WI-FI AND Then quickly reconnect the music doesn’t stop when it disconnects….I’m just not able to pause or change volume, also when I go to settings and look at system the Arc and sub sometimes are said to not connected so I can’t adjust my volume settings….I have reinstalled app reconnected Wi-Fi and it solves the problem for few minutes….thinking about getting new phone but don’t want to have same problem if it is in fact the app. Any info let me know
Hi I owns a system composed by a sonos arc and two sonos one SL distributed in different roomas. In all of the i have the same problem. I play music from my Android mobile (Galaxy S23 Ultra). I don´t use steaming services, I have de music as mp3 files into the mobile. The problem is that everytime the mobile goes to sleep continuous reproducing music for a time and then interrup it until I unblock the phone and then reconects automatically.I have check into the mobile the configuration for the battery / second plane and I have added Sonos App between the apps without suspension but still have the same problem.Any idea about how to configure the mobile in the right way?
Hi, I have aquired a Used Sonos ZP80 and added to my S1 system, after it added it showed update available but when I try to update it states the App needs updating but My S1 app is up to date.Now even if I power off the ZP80 it states my app needs updating every time I try to add a device. My app version is 11.2.9 Build 57688280My other working ZP80 is Version 11.2.9 Build 57688280.the newly added ZP80 is version 9.3 Build 47259120. I have used 2 ZP100s and another ZP80 to add bought from the same person. Any advice much appreciated.Mark
I have a Sonos system that used to be connected with an account. I want to change account and create mine but everytime I try to connect with new account, the old one is referred, registered.... I have uninstalled the application, I have tried several options, nothing is successfullHow can I totally erase the old account?Please help.
Hi, if I’m not wrong, it was once possible to search a connected local music library using the Sonos 1 controller. Currently, search functionality works only for connected services like Spotify. This is a real bummer of a limitation. Is there any way to revert back to the more comprehensive search index?I read something on the Web saying it was possible to choose between “classic” and “new” search, but that ship seems to have sailed.Is there any way to go back to classic search, assuming that’s the way to search a local music library?
Hello!I am my wits end, any help would be extremely appreciated!We use Spotify/ Sonos to play music in our business, however whilst we’re away sometimes the staff pop on their own music which isn’t idealIs there a way we can limit what is played? I have used Sonos with Spotify to play podcasts for the last few months. After the first of the year, I have not been able to do so.At first, I thought it was another Sonos glitch (I do not use the alarm function because it regularly forgets certain rooms or speakers and has to be manually reset…which is not feasible when I am asleep). But nothing seems to be working. I see on the forum that this was a problem a year or so ago, but I have been able to play podcasts just last month. Can anyone provide any guidance? This is extremely annoying as I purchased a pair of Roams specifically to be able to play podcasts in the morning.
Guys,I have an old German account, almost 10 years now, as I used to live there. Anyway, I now live in the US and I'd like to switch to a US account. Is it possible to switch the Country without deleting my original account and creating a new one here?Many thanks,Giovanni
I receive this error message (“Music Library Problem”) every morning.As I have done nothing to my system, other than update the SONOS software, it can only be an issue with that update.I have several speakers dotted around the house and my music library which SONOS accesses is on my 2020 iMac, running 12.3.1 (Monterey)I read that it has been a topic for some time and there are many “try this”, “try that”.Is there a definitive fix from SONOS?Thank you
