Dou you try to connect through TuneIn? Then as I understand it is because you are in the UK you need another way to get BBC Sounds.
Settings > services & voice > scroll past Music & content to Add a Service.
If you still do not find it check your Sonos account profile, your country must be set to United Kingdom
