Hi guys, Hoping someone can help. I have a Playbar hooked up to my Sony TV. If I put the TV on and set the volume to what I want when watching a movie - it’s great. However, if I then turn the TV off and ask Alexa (Echo) to play a song through the Playbar (using Spotify) - the volume is almost double as loud as the TV. So loud in fact that my GF did it the other day and it’s actually blown the bass speakers in the Playbar (a separate issue). When I look at the Sonos IOS app whilst doing the above, the volume slider remains at the same level for both TV and Music however what I hear is completely different. What makes this more confusing is that with my original set up, it was synced with my TV and Playbar (same TV and bar as i have bnow) - I had a bridge (connected to router in order for it all to work), when Sonos updated systems and the bridge was no longer needed - that’s what this issue started. Anyone got any ideas on what it could be and how to fix it without having to open
Hi,My wifes Samsung Galaxy S10+ won’t connect/play Apple Music to our Playbar, which it previously did.‘Needs reauthorising’ - white blank screen - so deleted and re-added - checked ‘already a member’ and a white blank screen appears, again.I’ve deleted the Sonos app and reinstalled - same problem.Any suggestions welcome, thank you...
Freegal Music streams your local public library content:“Offering over 18 million songs belonging to 200+ genres— including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists— Freegal Music+ is one of the most popular library services in the world, and with 200,000 songs added monthly, ...”So why is there no Sonos service for this wealth of content .. that you’ve already paid for through taxes?I guess it’s just ‘cause people don’t realize how much content is sitting right there waiting for them to get a library card and stream.Anyone have a way to add freegal music streaming as a sonos service?
The Sonos Android app on my phone and Windows desktop app can only see about 20% of my entire YouTube Music library and I’m not sure why. This hasn’t always been an issue, and I would really appreciate some help with this.Context:When I first bought into the Sonos network, I purchased a pair of One SLs and began playing music through my personal library on my phone. I primarily listen to music with downloaded files through the default Samsung media app, and at the time the Sonos Android app could see these files as well. Everything worked great for a few years and I got a Play:5 (Gen 2) speaker during that time to add to my system as well.Earlier this year, there was a notice from Sonos saying that the app could no longer read downloaded files on Android phones, but provided solutions to work around this. I was irritated at first, since I’d grown so used to how I was using my speakers, but the workaround I chose was through YouTube Music. Uploading music to YouTube was one of the sugge
Sonos, you may think your updates are important but don’t disable my surround sound. Not only that but the update is not successfully updating, so this causes me to have to stop what I’m doing to troubleshoot. So, you forced an update on by disabling my surround sound and then the software doesn’t actually install. Wow. Next time, my advice is don’t do it again.
I have had a recurring problem pretty much since Day 1 with the error message ‘No search results found. No services set up on your system’. I currently, and have always, used Spotify which works seamlessly from a streaming perspective, plus when the search actually works.Once i force close the app (iOS) and re-open, the search works again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc.My current set up isBoostBeamAmp (2 x Sonos One as surrounds)Five OneI have searched the forums and can’t see anyone having this problem before. The constant need to quite the app and re-open is quite annoying!Any help appreciated
Last October i canceled my Sonos music subscription service. Sonos did cancel the service but continues to bill me every single month. Despite multiple emails and phone conversations, Sonos support/sales cannot seem to figure out how they are billing me each month even though i give them my credit card #, email, name, etc. I can call my bank and chargeback all these charges but was hoping Sonos would actually research and resolve their billing issue which is occurring without my permission. Wondering if i need to have a lawyer send a letter to them?
We have a couple of Sonos devices and one Spotify Premium account with multiple users who all have own play lists. Our issue is on Sonos, whomever is signed in, only their playlists show. I have read the content about adding additional accounts etc and switching between but we have one Spotify account so my question is whether there is a way to switch between playlists on Sonos?I dont want to see my husband’s tunes/podcasts etc and at the moment all I can do is search by artist name for whom I want. Same for other family members. The issue isn’t Spotify as we each have the app, go in, our playlists etc all there. This seems related to the single log-in/user issue of Sonos. Surely there is a workaround here?
I have my turntable hooked up to my 2nd Gen Play 5 and only one channel is displayed on the app, previously both channels were displayed now the Left channel states its Disconnected, I still get sound out of the left channel but the app has it as disconnected. I’ve unplugged the Play 5, put a new cable on the turntable and nothing has changed, any clues on how to fix this. Thanks, Rio
I’d like to add some .flac files I have saved in the files folder on my iPad Pro (ios15.7) to my Sonos 1 (OS: S2, version:15.4)How do I do this?I can get to the shared music library pop up, but don’t know what to enter in the path box. Thanks in advance for your help.
I have files and folders with Korean in the names. When I add the music library and re-index, it only finds songs with English names only. Is there any way that Sonos music library indexes foreign language support (e.g. UTF-8) Or, I have Synology NAS with built in media server. I read that DLNA is not officially supported by Sonos but if there is anyone who uses DLNA to play music from NAS library?
Same issue as this one posted a year ago: My Sonos system is a Sonos Arc with a Sub Gen 3 in the living room, 2x Play:5 in stereo pair in the dinning room and 2x Play:1 in stereo pair in the bedroom.I am using Sonos S2.Like mentioned in the linked thread, during playback on stero pairs, sound will stop on the left speaker, then comeback, and sometimes continue to cut out on one or both speakers. Sometimes songs will simply stop for a second.Problem seems to happen with multi rooms or with stereo pairs.Never had any problem with other music services. Yes, I tried unplugging my system / re-authorizing account. Still, I don't have this problem if I'm using a different music service
First time poster here. Having a problem with Imported Playlists. There is a new playlist called 'Library' that I have not created and it is not present in the Playlists sidebar in the Music app. Mac OS Monterey v12.2.1. This seems to be new and may be eating up imported playlist numbers on the Sonos side. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?
Half the time I try to access Apple Music on Sonos, I get an error message that says “We’ve run into a problem. Try again.” This has been going on for about a month. I have an all-Apple system (iPad, iPhone, iMac), all with up-to-date system software. Sonos is OS2, version 13.4.1. I have five Sonos speakers (two Ones, two Threes and a Roam). One of the speakers connects to my network via an Ethernet cable.
