Hello,I like to know how it is possible to create a request for “Title” and “Artist” to Sonos API with my Arduino 1010 Wifi ESP32. The request should show “Title” and “Artist” which is playing actually on my Sonos (S2) Move.Thank you for help.
Good morning, looking for some help here as driving me nuts now!BBC Radio 2, in this instance, but same with all BBC Sounds stations. Drops out after 10-15 seconds.So far, I have hard wired a device, rebooted all devices, deleted app, re-authorised Sounds, and still have the same issue.If I Airplay from a device to a Sonos, it works without issues.Which leads me to the Sounds/Sonos issue? What can we try next?
Hi AllSort of newbie here, just got an arc, sub and 2 x era 300s. All set up and it sounds amazing…However, when I got add streaming services, Spotify is there but Amazon Music isnt there to select. Anyone else had this issue or know a solution? Im UK based so it should be available right? Thanks
Today is Thursday May 12: as of 4 days ago when I was waking up to one of my alarms I noticed just the annoying chime (which usually indicates something isn’t connected correctly or loss of communication). Well by Wednesday I was trying to fix it and every time I tried to reauthorize my Apple Music account an error pooped every time “saying one or more of your Sonos products needs updating before “this can be done”. I was in the beta community but I left thinking that may be the issue. Called Sonos and got some help he said I had to wait 3-4 days for the beta community ends my account. Will update in 3 days. But I’m pretty sure this is a Sonos issue. They just had some major issues with their online website, and billing platforms, and some upgrades to their controllers.
Is there a way to change the default behaviour when clicking a song from Play Now to add to queue? The use case here is when multiple people are controlling the play list (i.e at a party) and each song only gets half way through before someone has not remembered to press the three dots to add to queue. I’m hoping there is a way to change this behaviour in the settings but have not been unable to find anything.
Hello, suddenly all music services disappeared from the app and when trying to add new ones, the page is completely blank. I'll add screenshots on this.The system and all products have been reset, updated and tried to logout/login of the account. The app works on our other systems but not this one.
Almost all of my Mac software updates effortlessly. Sonos, on the other hand, doesn't like MacOS and never has. Thus, to update, Mac users must locate their Sonos app in the Applications folder, delete it, then go back to the Sonos website, find the download link, then download it. Once downloaded, it needs to be dragged to the Applications folder. How archaic? Is there a better way that I'm missing?
This problem seems to have fallen off the watchlist at SONOS. I called over a year ago after I upgraded my NAS to a SSD to store my music local for my SONOS system. The last time I called I was told “SONOS knows about the problem they are working on a fix.” The error ‘//outta/l/music” is no longer available … blah blah. I can mount the location using a Windows 10 and Windows 11 system as well as a MacBook Pro so that eliminates and possible connection issues. Has ANYONE connect an external disk to TP Link Router and had success getting the SONOS app to work?
The search function in Soundcloud is not working properly.When searching for a track, mix whatever and using the exact name of the track it doesn't come up as a number one result. I have to scroll down like 20-30 tracks before I reach that track I am looking for. This is the case in the Windows controller as in the Android controleer. Funny enough, when searching for that track in the Windows controller it puts the track with the exact name in Italian style. So somehow the app recognizes that this is the track you are looking for. So why doesn't it pop up as a number 1 result? P.S. Every one is complaining for years why we can not search within all music sources at once within the Windows controller. Is it that difficult Sonos?
I have multiple Sonos products and have recently moved back from the US to UK. I have been using the Sonos One’s without problem with my Tidal subscription. I have just connected the Sonos Play 5 Gen 2. When pairing the Play 5 with a Sonos One that is already playing Tidal there is no issue. However when I try to select songs from tidal on just the Play 5 speaker I get the message “You have no active subscriptions” and to go to My.Tidal.COM to manage my account.Any ideas would be appreciated.
Diagnostic number: 882209052Hi i have been having this issue ever since i purchased this system... i haven't tried it on all music services (which i will do) but the testing i have been doing is on streaming iHeart Radio. It seems that after a period of time the speaker or group of speakers starts to loose the stream and skips, it gets worse once it starts and doesnt recover. if i stop and start the group of speakers it works for a while ~1hr, then starts skipping again. I have replaced the router, switches and access points and this still happens. One test i've done is to split the group of speakers into two with each group having a hardwired set of speakers, this has proved that it's not the wifi as these speakers suffer the same issue. I have also started the second group of speakers after the first lot start exhibiting the issue and they work fine with the same service as the first set continue skipping. i will continue testing but would appreciate any suggestions on fixing this.
I bought a Sonos Era 100 to use in conjunction with a 2019 Macbook Air running Venture 13.3.1. It became clear that the Sonos speaker was not suitable for me and I took it back. But now after I deleted the Sonos app almost all of my audio files cannot be opened by any of the applications I use for audio (Quicktime Player, VLC, the Amazing Slow Downer, or the infuriating Music). I thought it might be something to do with permissions as it seemed for a while that if I copied a file to the desktop and deleted the “SonosDM” from the permission list on the Info panel it would open. But then that seemed to stop working. I tried various things: disk first aid in recovery mode, deleting some Sonos folders that were still in ~/Library, abundant restarts. Oh how weird. I seem to have fixed the problem (at least for now!): I attempted to change the default open-with of one mp3 file from Quicktime player to VLC. It wouldn’t take but now it seems that file and every one I’ve tried opens as expected
I have a SaavnPro account. However, I cannot play Saavn music through Sonos. I have tried reauthorizing the account a few times. When I try to pay a radio channel on Saavn through my S/ones app, I get an error message that says “connection to Saavn was lost”. Please advise on what I need to do to fix this. Thank you.
Sonos system working seamlessly on old Android phone, upgraded to new A53 and now can’t connect to Sonos system with S1 Controller. System consists of 1 Bridge and 2 Connects. Have gone through all the obvious steps and the S1 Controller keeps telling me “Product not found”? BTW… not a techno-guy, so a little patience please. Thanks in advance!
After upgrading my Mac Pro to Big Sur my music library via iTunes won’t play. When I try to update music library the system tells me it can’t locate my hard drive (on which Sonos is installed!). I updated Sonos which didn’t fix it. Can’t add a new path as cannot connect to hard drive. A new path recently appeared showing my library but it has now disappeared again!
Sonos Play 1 not connecting on either Sonos app.it is on the network and via Alexa app can play no problem. Why can Alexa work it yet Sonos says not found after it identifies the speaker and serial number??!connected with Ethernet cable but had to unplug to move so back to square 1.In set up unable to join Sonos messagetried older app just the same.def connected to Wi-fi network excellent signal tried off and oning everything.During set up identifies play one and serial number but then all else fails.during set up no Sonos Wi-fi ifs generated.used to work fine on the S 2 app now very frustrating and turning me off buying any more sonos products quite frankly as wasting hours trying to set this up again.
