I am a long time Spotify user with the old Sonos Play:5. Usually I stream to Sonos directly from Spotify app on the phone (although I can do it though the S1 controller as well). I have been thinking of transitioning to Apple Music. I used a free third party app to move around 8 playlists from Spotify to Apple Music, and then I created new playlists within Apple Music. I added Apple Music to S1 as well. I can see Apple Music playlists through the S1 app, but only those that transitioned from Spotify; I don’t see the ones I created from scratch within Apple Music. I would appreciate some help.
I'm no longer seeing the search categories at the top of the screen that I used to (to select search by artist, song, album, playlist, etc.). The only options displaying at the top are "Stations" or "Podcasts & Shows" and when I search there are no options for pandora or spotify. Using the S2 controller on a samsung/android. My wifes controller still shows the old view. Any ideas on how to get this back to the previous search options?
Hello,I’ve seen some complaints about this but I wasn’t sure who’s end it was on. It seems that Plex sees Sonos as requiring a very high bitrate and won’t play, even locally. Plex plays fine if you try another way to play it so why even have a Plex integration in Sonos? You can work around this by not setting an upload speed in Plex but that can have other consequences as music isn’t really the main concern of maxing out your upload speed. Will is already plans for this to be fixed? Is this on Plex or Sonos to resolve?
As of last week, when I listen to pocketcasts on Sonos, that activity does not appear to be communicated to the pocketcasts sync cloud. Pocketcasts will not show that an episode has been played and will not retain listening position. The syncing used to work fine, and I haven't changed my devices or configuration since then. I've ensured I'm logged in to both Sonos and pocketcasts, and I've tried reauthorizing the pocketcasts service. No luck. Pocketcasts still seems to have no knowledge of what I play through Sonos.Suggestions?

Hello!I am my wits end, any help would be extremely appreciated! We use Spotify/ Sonos to play music in our business, however whilst we’re away sometimes the staff pop on their own music which isn’t idealIs there a way we can limit what is played? We’re happy to buy any piece of kit or use a different steaming service. Thanks!
I have files WAV files on my hard drive that is on my desktop computer or phone and I want to listen through my Sonos system. Is that possible? I also get emails with music that I can stream on my computer and would like to be able to listen through our Sonos system. I work in the music business and am sent music that is not commercially available.
For my relatives I have been trying to connect in-ceiling Sonos speakers to multiple (2) BR100 bridges, but without any succes. Both BR100 bridges don’t show any light on top, even though I connected them to a power outlet, as well as the UTP/ethernet cables to the router. (the cabled connection works on other devices such as laptops)The connection worked until the router got replaced by a newer one.The new router (a Huawei EG8145V5) supports 802.11ac dual-frequency bands. Could it be that the BR100 doesn’t support this wifi band?As far as I’ve understood, the BR100 is End of Life. Should we get a newer bridge model?Or is there anything else we can do? E.g. do certain router settings need to be applied? As for the in-ceiling speakers I have no idea which model they are, but they worked before with the BR100 on the old router. Also, when checking the Sonos mobile apps, I believe we were unable to find the speakers separately (without the bridge). So presuming they need the bridge (?). M
Hi,I was at my friends house and connected to her system. When I returned home and put on music from spotify it started playing in her house over 200km away. this has also happened in my house once when my friend from another side of town tried playing from her spotify at home. how is this possible since they were not in the same wifi?
I have a Port connected to my router via ethernet. Wifi has been disabled in the Port. Sonos regularly disconnects from my music library. I get the message unable to browse music. When this happened yesterday, I restarted my router (xfinity gateway) and the system worked fine all day. The system worked fine for a couple hours this morning, but now it’s glitchy again, unable to play whole tracks without skipping forward and then stopping altogether. Strange this happens with a port directly wired to router. Not using wifi for it.
I have read countless threads about Sonos speakers not connecting using Airplay (on iPad) with the usual response of restart, reset …. ad nauseum… I reset everything, works for a short time and then, right in the middle of a playlist… DEAD. Is there any real fix to this? I have 4 SL 1 speakers and the ARC soundbar. and this is really getting tiresome but before I leave a bad review, I’d like to get some feedback.
I am trying to stream my Tidal Playlist on Sonos S1 App and from time to time different streaming services have the same issue, they freeze seconds into the song playing. Usually i reauthorize the service and it fix itself. Recently this has no been working, I’ve tried it all, disconnecting the device from power and Wi-Fi, deleting streaming service from Sonos, restarting tablet, reauthorizing the tidal. But nothing this time around, any suggestions or solutions?
Hello. Until recently I was able to stream music from 2 favourite Greek stations (Mancode Radio and Ellinikos 93.2). Now, both stations are geo-locked both on Sonos Play:1 and TuneIn Pro.Is there a setting I have missed that could give me access again to these favourite stations?
It takes several attempts to “change the station” in Sonos app/TuneIn. The icons and GUI update to the newly selected station, but the actual audio is the previous station. It only started a couple of months ago, so it’s likely related to a bug in the software update. This topic was created previously - but the discussion was “closed” without any resolution. Did I miss something? Is there a solution for this bug?Previous discussion now closed:
Is there a way to display the name we gave to a Service in the ‘Select a Music Source’ section?I have 2 Spotify accounts linked in my Sonos Controllers, but I never know which one to select. It would be nice if next to the service type, you could have the option to display the name you provided as well. This is an example on the Mac controller, but it is the same for iiPhone app
Playing local files from my Android S10, there are the following problems.1. Playback stops mid-track every few minutes2. The Android S2 app displays a different track to the one the speakers are playing3. The tracks aren't listed (or played) in album orderAny suggestions how to fix it?(Also please accept this standard rant as a Sonos user for almost ten years that it's about time we could stream content directly from any phone app to the speakers like we can with headphones, and yes I know this is not how Sonos works. I wish I didn't have to wear headphones half the time.)
